Dion’s sound was crafted on city street corners doing doo wop music with his ‘boys’. Paul Simon came out of the same musical artistic background!

Dion's Abraham, Martin and John is unlike alot of his other songs. Hard to believe it's the same guy! Beautiful song 🎶🎵💚

You know when I was younger I would just listen to the music, not the words or the meaning. Well now that I'm much older I get to experience music again. Thanks to you guys!❤❤✌️

During my life, Dion has always been one of my favorites. Dion is still recording today. A few years ago he released an album with other various artists (Stomping Grounds.) One song is with your friend Mark Knopfler called Dancing Girl.

He is 84 years old and released two more blues albums after Stomping Ground. Blues with Friends where he collaborates with other blues artists, and Girfriends a collaboration with several blues ladies. All three albums are outstanding.

Dion started out with the Belmonts in the late 50's-60's. They had some hits including "I Wonder Why", "No One Knows", "Where Or When", "Don't Pity Me" etc. Dion went solo & had some big hits such as "Runaround Sue", "The Wanderer", "Ruby Baby", "Lonely Teenager", "Donna The Prima Donna" ,"Drip Drop", "Lovers Who Wander", "Little Diane" & "Abraham, Martin & John".

Another wonderful yet seldom played Dion song I listen to which sends tears to my eyes is Sit down old friend…much more unusual than his typical early days songs

Hears an interesting story in 1974 in college they got us Frank Zappa, a sell out concert Frank being wild 😜 and experimental rock you didn't put Frank Zappa and Dion in the same Catagory 😮 Dion was his warm up act and Dion didn't get the respect he deserved, Frank was very upset and let us know in a few words @#$// and ^&*#. We deserved it, because Dion is one of the greats👍 Peace ✌️ and Love ❤️ Gary 😊 Great Reaction 👍 I do love Dion ❤
