@@christaylor2865 a good friend of mine was the DB coach for the Chiefs at SB1. He's passed about 3 years ago. We would sit for hours and let him tell stories of Dawson, Stramm, Williamson,.... He was also a college coach in the late 60s to the late 80s so he also had stories of Paterno, Corso, Holtz and my beloved Bowden. I miss him dearly!

^^^^ R.I.P. As a kid my dad and his buddies used to ride their bikes to Baldwin Wallace College in Berea (Cleveland suburb) to play football. A security guard went to throw them out, but a big dude kicking field goals told the guard they were there to help him train. It was Browns future HOF'er Lou "The Toe" Groza. My dad and his friends played with him probably several hundred times over the years. He'd tell them funny stories about Jim Brown and other players, and even literally took them to several games. He was the first kicker to be inducted. Was also an offensive lineman lol.

If he would have talked about letting children transition with surgery or chemicals, I wonder what NFL would have said about that. They probably would have put a "Stop Trans Hate" in the end zones. I have a couple of distinct thoughts on this kerfluffle. First, the Chiefs aren't buckling to the outrage mob. They aren't releasing Butker and they aren't changing their team name. These clowns demanding it aren't football fans. Second, the people signing this petition are outraged that he insulted women, but they can't define what a woman is.

At The Same Time: which has more lasting value in life… a) having a successful career, status, wealth, awards, fame… OR b) having and raising child/children and taking care of a family? For the woman AND the man… at the end of your life, which matters more?
