First…I’m a career woman…foregoing having a family in favor of becoming a successful and fulfilled Chemical Engineer. I can tell you I am FAR FROM OFFENDED by this speech. In fact, I am TOUCHED that he’s addressing the “shame” that many FEMINISTS ***force**** upon women who choose to create a loving family and stay home to raise their Children and be FULFILLED by doing so. My Mother did so and enjoyed it. I have NEWS FOR YOU Feminists…now, at 59 I REGRET not taking a break from my career to have a child or two. Now I face the harsh reality that my ADVANCED DEGREE will not be helping me thru my later years…no Grandkids to enjoy…no….I chose my degree over a family and there are times I wish I hadn’t. You Feminists need to BACK OFF Women who, chose Family over career.

Well put. It's one thing to say women should have the choice to go out into the workforce and have a career, that's a no-brainer. It's another thing to insist that women must enter the workforce, and shame them if they don't. Oh well she's JUST a housewife! At some point feminism decided that the way to measure a woman's worth is by the man's scale. You must succeed in the man's world to be a successful woman! You must possess masculine traits to be a successful woman! Not only does it completely diminish the immense value of the feminine, but it also sets most women up for failure to insist that they need to beat men at their own game in order to succeed as a woman. Nothing ruins women quite like feminism.

They would give the same kind of glowing testimony about their life's decisions as you do. What's important is that women have the choice rather than having to try and pick the right man to take care of them because they have no other options. The world is a much wider and diverse place then you imagine and won't fall apart if many women choose not to follow today's version of the traditional wife's role. Viva la difference!

It has been worked out since the beginning stages of the global world order, which the plan was to break the nuclear family (which is us), and allow the state to rule society. The cost of inflation and dirty economics plowed it's way into our systems overtime, and made life more expensive, which caused the upkeeping of life financially more difficult by requiring more work, as they narrowed our currency down by exhausting its purchasing power through endless printing, and the only way for average human beings to compensate has been by adding more work, which often is by systematically forcing the other partner, the women, to commit to working alongside the men, as you said in order to make ends meet. Much unlike the 70s when the mother could stay at home and the father could work one job and pay for a house. Nowadays two parents hardly make ends meet renting a property.
This is much more complicated, and the little agendas that were measured and set out upon, examples being such as making men weak and amplifying feminism in order to further weaken the family, have so far been achieved mostly. We get ever closer to letting the state rule our lives, and our children.
This was one main goal of many.
Removing parental consent is one of the biggest objectives, because it gives them rights and control over our lives at a early age and ultimately, which instead should always and ultimately be up to the parents, allowing us to maintain and keep our sovereignty as human beings by acting upon ourselves under the rule of God, and not the government.
Instead life is now upside down, mother and fathers are dysfunctional, parents authority being displaced by the state, and God removed from the picture, this is the way of the new world order.

      1. Women fought their way into the workforce. When you increase the supply of workers by roughly 35-40%, the most basic form of common sense will tell you wages will plummet. Women created much of the one income not being enough issue
      2. Almost all the women I’ve ever seen wisen up do so after they have kids. It’s as if they are incapable recognizing they want to stay home once they have kids beforehand. It’s extremely childish and shows how incapable they are of thinking beyond the end of their noses.
      3. Women get tons of often useless college degrees, run up TONS of student debt, then burden their husbands with it and want to stop working as hard/work part time/stop working once they have kids. This dumps a huge amount of stress on the husband. Women tend do to this at around 30 when they spent the last 5-10 years traveling, living in expensive single apartments bc they can’t stand to live with another woman/women, sleeping around, no sacrifices to get out of debt. So men effectively have to subsidize this insolent behavior.
      4. Men are generally willing to live much cheaper and more simply than women are. Women say they want to stop working but then demand a lifestyle that isn’t congruent.
      5. Women OVERWHELMINGLY vote for leftist high taxes, high regulation, affirmative action, government handouts, “student loan forgiveness”, and inflation causing policies that make life at least 30% more expensive by my rough calculation. This makes two incomes a necessity.
      6. Instead of building with a good man on their dating marketplace level when they are young, women sleep with the top 10% of men who are out of their league. This damages them, makes most other men check out, and turns the top men into monsters. This drives down wages of men who don’t see a reason to try because one or the primary motivators for them to make more money is a nice, conservative, no promiscuous past, non-indebted, fit, feminine, 20’s (fertility) wife (less than 2% of women meet these basic requirements). Remove a primary motivator for men and they stop caring.
In summary, women did it to themselves over the last half century and it will continue to get worse until things collapse.

I’m a retired British police officer, years ago some of us were invited to attend a “ Meet a successful female police officer seminar” The successful police woman turned out to be the first female Chief Constable, in the UK, a pretty lofty position to achieve, I might add.
I went along with a female colleague who herself had never sought or got any promotions during her 30 years service. She was smart and a great street cop.
When it came to the Q&A’s she stood up after listening to all the plaudits, platitudes being displayed by the master of ceremonies and she asked a very simple question.
She said” I have had three children, raised them throughout their lives, paid for their university fees and seen them to go and get married and have children of their own, my question to the female Chief Constable is” Would you consider me a successful police woman”

That’s because there aren’t men in those communities who will uphold their responsibilities, so the women have to go it alone. I’m white, grew-up in an all white housing project. It was all women and children on welfare, because the husbands/fathers had abandoned them. Until men start upholding their responsibilities, especially in poor areas, women have no choice but to never have kids, or to have kids and raise them in poverty. I’m a female and never had children because of what I saw growing up; there’s no way that I would ever trust a man to take care of me when I was vulnerable, through pregnancy and while raising young children. I have a good career, but I wish I had a few children, but my father abandoned us, left us without food and we lived in our car til we got in the rejects, and I wasn’t about to subject any child of mine to that life.

People who ignored hitler and Stalin were pretty surprised when they took power and turned their countries to sht.
You’re supposed to listen to every side of an argument or a dictatorship can take over the nation because they act as if they are the truth and if they convince enough people it leads to a subjugated class that doesn’t agree with the state but has no choice. This applies to any kind of political affiliation because if you want to argue why the other side is wrong you need to know why they are wrong by knowing their position on the subject. This is how America formed the most successful economy and democracy and globalized the world.
In other words don’t get caught with your pants down mindset. Not listening is really the first step into ignorance.
Being offended by someone’s opinions is a problem on an individual level since they are acting like a child anyways. Both US parties are notorious for what you’re talking about. It’s why congress is basically useless elderly toddlers at this point.

However you could argue maybe what he said needed to be more directed towards women as they've been tricked into thinking in recent decades that having a career is wonderful and fulfilling when men worked out a long time ago that for 95% or more of people it's merely a means to an end and a way to support your family not actually anything fulfilling.

Now I see my daughter working full time, exhausted, with a beautiful son going to daycare (she lives out of state). It's no where near as good as staying home with mom!!! WE ALL KNOW THAT!!!!! The REAL women's movement we need is getting mothers BACK INTO THE HOUSE WITH THEIR CHILDREN, if they so choose. Kudos to Harrison Butker and Bill Maher on this.
