One real time saver i find is "Q" and "W". They're basically a more advanced verision of Control+K, Q cuts everything before the playhead and W cuts everything after it.
@@stylingandfitnessingwithty2713 I know what you mean. It’ll ripple delete up to the cut point but you need to make sure to have the video track selected (far left, V1, V2 etc.) It’s caught me off guard a few times. Hope this helps
Amazing tips Dave ! I loved your new style with J cuts. I personally use C for add edit to all tracks, z for add edit and x for ripple delete. Having a key bind for add edit to all tracks is extremely useful. Also, I recommend creating a personal workspace. Especially for laptop editors. I find my workspace to be very efficient considering my laptop is only 15.6”.
Even with 2 large monitors I still frequently use the 'Maximize Frame' key; instantly maximizes whichever window in Premiere is selected. On my mac keyboard it is immediately to the left of the number 1, or the ~ key.
OMFGGGG 🤬!!!!! I rolled my eyes after every single shortcut u just gave.. i am a protools guy, been editing video since i was ten but just recently got ahold of premiere and i love it.. im such a firm believer in hot keys i have a notebook for all the protools ones and after the few weeks in premiere and getting used to the layout, all these shortcuts made me so mad because i dk how much time these would have saved me beforw lol goodlookin!
Hot keys for the win. Everybody says keyboard shortcuts are useful but you need to know what functions are available. As soon as I found those out I was off to the races!
Thanks for sharing, The only thing I didn't know was the shortcut G, but the rest I know and also I have an envato account for yearly subscription. Thanks again, Olufemii since day One 👑
Great video! Thanks so much. One thing, when I press "A" I get the track select forward tool, not "select all to the right". Grateful for any tips on how to change or assign a different key to the "select all to the right" command. 🙏
@@HeavyReverb Yes! Now I see that I have to click where I want the selection to start. It wasn't clear to me from the video. Thanks for taking the time to respond 🙏
Nice thanks for the tips! I felt quite good that I already use a few of them haha but defo going to use the shortcut to reverse a clip. I've also been finding Y useful to make adjustments of the frame a clip starts and ends on!
When I first started with Adobe 6.0 then moved up to Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 it gave you the option to put a colored border on one side of your video transition example Push or Slide! I can't find anything in Premiere 2022! Okay nice job but how do you put a border on the Video Transition ONLY going from one clip to another?
I want to know that is premiere pro text is pixelated ? Because when I use after effects for text, it is sharp but in premiere pro it is little pixelated.
@@harshsharma9911 yeah darn I’ve had that before. I had to do a creative cloud cleanup and then reinstall everything before things started to work properly again.

Top and tail edits are so handy!!
Why doesn't it work everytime?

@@HeavyReverb Glad it coudl help!
been editing for years and still learned quite a few from this video
that lumetri color for source video was clutch!!
Yo hold up this was actually insanely useful, especially changing the source of the color correction rather than each clip
Alt + scroll to zoom in and out of timeline, I didn’t know the is for my first year and it was a massive time saver
Thanks

Yo I use that all the time when time line needs tidying up. ✊
It's the little things... :) Will take, two or three of your tips, as they were new to me. Thx, man.

Great video. For audio gain, double click the track header and just drag the selected clip's volume line up or down.
Music Name ?
My dude. Love you
I learnt something new today.thanks dave
Love all of those tips! ❤️ Great video! 💥 Thank you! 👍🏼

fantastic video. the one most useful for me that i learned is the 'r' stretch tool. and the ctrl r one

shift + A should select everything to the left.
@@HeavyReverb Thanks, but on my (latest) version of PP on Mac (which I did not customize) Shift + A gives me the "Track Select Backward Tool"
@@zenellis I think we’re saying the same thing tbh.
Different names for the same function. 🤙

The splitting at playhead one is absolutely the first one im going to set up
Oh man, definitely learned some new stuff today! And here I was right clicking my tracks every time I wanted to adjust the audio gain 😶
I’m glad my guy. ✊
Thanks this are some amazing shortcuts. Thank you :-)
Speed tips for Premiere are always appreciated!
Amazing tips!
Reverse effect can easly create with speed ramp . add a ponit on speed ramp and just hold ctrl key and drag the point any side
Such an informative video!! Thanks Man
keep up the good work!!
Hit X on your keyboard to select in and out point of a single clip on your timeline
Nice MX Keys for Mac. Have that model myself. Love it

More videos like this please
really helpfull!!
To create a new track you can simply drag the clip beyond the tracks you see and a new track is formed.
thats a tidy solution aswell. 🤙
Amazing!
thank you very much!

Select a clip, and press (Ctrl+d) to add the dissolve effect to the beginning and end of the clip.
Be surprised how much speed you can gain with this tips

are you using dynamic link or exporting a video from AE?
@@HeavyReverb my dynamic link don't work properly, so I render a clip from premiere pro then export it and then edit in after effects 😭

Does anyone know where to look when our Sequences disappear? Thanks
All the sequences are where your video files are in the project window on the left.
I used to panic if I accidentally closed a sequence.
shift+1 should open that panel if it disappears!
Create a shortcut for nesting, saves a bit of time.
A little tip, always disable all function of this buttons: , . Always i hit it by mistake.
Even I'm too set make add edit as A key 😅😅
Brother, your editing is good. Speech to explain is also good but the video falls fast.
Actually very helpful, thanks guys!
Yeah great. I was working wrong everyday. I see. Thank's a lot.... from Mongolia

Nice try👍
Cool
how do you know I'm doing it wrong? just because I'm watching your videos?
I’ve definitely accidentally double clicked on an effect while highlighting a clip, being extremely confused what happened lmao
I knew all of these ... does that mean something?
you're a PRO!!
I thought the number one mistake was using it in the first place

Why is there a Ben Shapiro video on this playlist...?

Number 1: using premiere pro
lots of editing mistakes in this current video
for example...
1. The audio shink
2. The background music is too high and many more....
