    1. 0:50 - Export in 4K
    2. 1:35 - 18:9 > 16:9 (3840x1920) to futureproof and not have it be cropped
    3. 3:02 - Camera Lens Blur > Gausien Blur (AE necessary)
    4. 4:00 - Desaturate blacks & whites when correcting for white balance
    5. 4:48 - Horizontal Flip
    6. 5:20 - Keyframe interpolation
    7. 6:30 - Transform Effect
    8. 7:34 (WIDESCREEN) - export in widescreen but edit in 16:9
    9. 8:50 - (WIDESCREEN) Adding in camera movement
    10. 9:38 - Prevent Premiere Pro from messing up your colors
    11. 11:45 - Increase bit rate

    So the reason your colours aren’t exporting the way they look in Premiere is because Premiere operates in a different colour space to your computer (probably a mac). The best way to colour grade your footage is on a calibrated colour accurate monitor. But lots of us can’t afford second monitors so this is a great solution. Also, if you want to add your own compensation LUT, you don’t have to export the clip. You can just export the frame that your play head is at by hitting the little camera button under your preview window. It’ll export your frame with the same colour shift as a video export. Then you can put that frame side by side with your premiere project and adjust your compensation LUT accordingly. Great tips.

      He's likely using Quicktime... so using that LUT is stupid. Anyone who knows anything about color grading knows you never open quicktime to watch anything EVER. Meanwhile, he's using a LUT to make footage in his timeline match how it will open in Quicktime (which it still won't match, he changed it by adding contrast and saturation). The bane of Colorists' existences is idiot clients opening their color grade in Quicktime to review it. You can have a calibrated $30,000 monitor using a I/O device and it won't matter if your moron of a client is using Quicktime.

    The only con is that depending on your niche, 18:9 could lead to cropped off information/footage. In my case, I do gaming content and in order to get everything in screen I need to use 16:9. For quality of life videos such as vlogs and scenery it will definitely be good to use the widescreen for a more cinematic look!

      I doubt this is true. The algorithm is based on machine learning techniques which is kind of a black box in terms of understanding how it ranks things. What seems to be important for the algorithm is click through rate and watch time, which kind of makes sense when you think about it lol

    Thanks dude, do you know the right setting to render a 1080P video as 1440P for youtube on 2.35 1 aspect ratio, all that to get the vp09 codec that presents good quality vs avc codec, ( to check the codecs click right on any youtube video then go to the last option)

  • @willwoolf
    @willwoolf 2 года назад +2

    For exporting, variable bitrate 2-pass will always get you the highest quality if you have the time. The target bitrate should match that of the footage. If you're exporting for RUclips, h.264 is fine, but for higher quality delivery you should also match the codec of the source footage (ProRes, DNx, etc.)
