As you stated,trying to find possum is iffy,so,I used rabbit zonkers and squirrel zonkers and they came out real nice.

What size bead are you using on the size 12 hook? I've noticed the beads look a bit oversized on the rio bandito (i've bought a few).

You can also use rabbit strips in that color , you can pull out the down hair from the strips with a comb I have that fly and used rabbit in crawfish color works good.
