Dear flamingos, the first two weeks of quarantine have passed.
Between these walls some of you may feel safe other may feel unfortunately entrapped, in any case, we hope we were able to bring to you a sense of humanity, culture and entertainment.
We have traveled virtually and discovered virtuos kingdoms like the one ruled by King of Bhutan who has a unique love for his people and the environment, such an admirable monarchy.
In this period of time, we have been touched in seeing how quickly nature healed from the wounds we inflicted to her the last century, realizing that for the planet, we are the virus.
As the Pope said, in a speech that goes beyond faith, we thought we could be healthy in a sick world.
It won’t be possible to forget these days, we will start looking at our daily life and our loved planet with different eyes.
We re-discoverd ourselves curios and interested in other cultures, right when they seem so far away, thanks to UNESCO for creating opportunity; the organization made possible for everyone the access to the World Digital Library and to the most famous museums. Experience it and you won’t forget that human beings are able to create wonders, when we want.
We became emotional in front of art works of great artists such as Francesco Musante, Mauro Rosso and REWA.
We have more days ahead between these loves and hated walls but we won’t leave you alone, #STAYATHOME, we will take the world and its wonders to you.
Cari fenicotteri, le prime due settimane sono passate.
Nelle nostre mura dove sensazioni di sicurezza e prigionia si mescolano in uno strano abbraccio, speriamo di avervi portato qualche scorcio di umanità, cultura ed intrattenimento.
Abbiamo scoperto virtualmente regnanti virtuosi, come il Re del Bhutan che il proprio amore verso i cittadini e l'ambiente ci mostra una monarchia ammirevole, ci siamo stupiti dalla velocità con cui la natura recupera da tutte le ferite che la nostra malata quotidianità le infierisce, ponendoci davanti alla cruda realtà, ossia che forse,per l'ambiente, il virus siamo noi.
Come citato da Papa Francesco, in un discorso che va al di là della fede, ci credevamo sani in un mondo malato.
Non sarà possibile dimenticare questi giorni dopo cui guarderemo con occhi diversi non solo la quotidianità ma anche la nostra amata terra.
Ci siamo riscoperti curiosi ed interessati alle altre culture, in un momento dove sembrano ancora più lontane, grazie ad UNESCO che ha reso accessibile a tutti la world digital library ed ai più famosi musei del mondo, le cui collezioni sono disponibili online per ricordarci che quando vogliamo, sappiamo creare meraviglie.
Ci siamo emozionati davanti alle opere di artisti come Francesco Musante, Mauro Rosso e REWA.
Abbiamo altri giorni da trascorrere fra queste amate ed odiate mura ma non vi lasceremo soli, state a casa, porteremo noi la meraviglia del mondo da voi.
