    I’m following, had ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair surgery 2 weeks ago, working hard with exercises at home and seeing a physio once a week for the next 16 weeks. Thanks for the content!

      Thank you, I’m glad it was easy to understand! I hope you recovered fully after your femur fracture. Sounds like a pretty brutal fracture!

    Thank you so much for this, I'm 5 weeks post ACL reconstruction and meniscectomy arthroscopy...since I had hamstring tendon autograft UpTo now I can't barely bend my knee while standing or do a military mark time exercise as advised by PT... Kindly let me know what might be the problem

      @RehabScience  Год назад

      Hamstring grafts often make it hard to bend the knee since you need to contract your hamstrings to complete this movement. With continued practice and a bit more time, your hamstrings will heal and strengthen and these movements will get easier.

      @@RehabScience Thank you so much , now I know it's about the hamstring and not the ACL, I'll keep on doing the exercises

    Nice Explanation. When will the patient be able to do SLR and if its still inhibited in 1st week wat can we do to improve it?

    • @RehabScience

      Continue to focus on the quad sets until they can keep their knee locked out with the SLR.

      I hope the exercises help you! If you can work directly with a physical therapist, I would recommend doing that as well.

    Great and helpfull video. How long it take until a pacient recover full ROM?

    • @RehabScience
      @RehabScience  Год назад +1

      It usually takes 4 to 6 weeks to regain full knee flexion. Full knee extension should occur in the first week.

    Hi. Thanks for this. So what happens if my knee pops out to the outside when I do any of these exercises? Should I do these with a brace on?

    Hello
    I had acl surgery about 9 months ago.
    In these 9 months, I did two or three exercises that my doctor gave me.
    But now, after 9 months, I still feel that my leg is not the same as before. I don't have a leg like that one (I feel like I didn't recover properly)
    Can I make my leg the same as before and the same as my other leg by practicing properly?
    That I can do this by doing the exercises that you tell me
