I’m following, had ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair surgery 2 weeks ago, working hard with exercises at home and seeing a physio once a week for the next 16 weeks. Thanks for the content!
It was long journey. I recovered fully and went for a walk tour du mont BLANC 120 miles solo hiked a year and three month after my accident. Every day i pushed a little more. My goal was seat on my feet! I do this everyday.
it’s been 4 weeks since my injury and I still don’t have full extension nor flexion (extremely painful if I try)…should I be concerned and what should I do…Am i totally screwed??!?
Thank you so much for this, I'm 5 weeks post ACL reconstruction and meniscectomy arthroscopy...since I had hamstring tendon autograft UpTo now I can't barely bend my knee while standing or do a military mark time exercise as advised by PT... Kindly let me know what might be the problem
Hamstring grafts often make it hard to bend the knee since you need to contract your hamstrings to complete this movement. With continued practice and a bit more time, your hamstrings will heal and strengthen and these movements will get easier.
I have complete tear in upper 1/3rd of acl and lower 1/3rd of mcl. I have injured my right knee on feb 5. I have resting my knee for 1 month after injury and i did not do any excersise . Now iam going to start excercise with your help. Does my acl and mcl heal by doing excersise😢😢😢
Hello I had acl surgery about 9 months ago. In these 9 months, I did two or three exercises that my doctor gave me. But now, after 9 months, I still feel that my leg is not the same as before. I don't have a leg like that one (I feel like I didn't recover properly) Can I make my leg the same as before and the same as my other leg by practicing properly? That I can do this by doing the exercises that you tell me

Best wishes with your recovery! I'm glad to hear you are working with a physio!
Wow! So clear explanations! I needed this when I broke my femur to three pieces… thank you.
Thank you, I’m glad it was easy to understand! I hope you recovered fully after your femur fracture. Sounds like a pretty brutal fracture!

@@RehabScience Thank you so much , now I know it's about the hamstring and not the ACL, I'll keep on doing the exercises
Nice Explanation. When will the patient be able to do SLR and if its still inhibited in 1st week wat can we do to improve it?
Continue to focus on the quad sets until they can keep their knee locked out with the SLR.
Thks 👍
Welcome!
I am here after 20 days of ACL surgery, I will follow what you taught in this video . Thank you for teaching such an exercise.
I hope the exercises help you! If you can work directly with a physical therapist, I would recommend doing that as well.
Great and helpfull video. How long it take until a pacient recover full ROM?
It usually takes 4 to 6 weeks to regain full knee flexion. Full knee extension should occur in the first week.

What exercises will reduce mid back pain after open heart surgery?
Hi. Thanks for this. So what happens if my knee pops out to the outside when I do any of these exercises? Should I do these with a brace on?
