It’s so filthy
A few hours ago around 1am or so I went on a run, and while listening to this song about halfway through my route I hit this bit on the path that's next to a park. When you get to this park the street lamps start to get more spaced out and there's benches underneath every other light or so, similar to the video. On one side there's this empty, flat field that's pitch black, and the other a sparse forest with odd statues and picnic benches. It gets very creepy because it's all flat, so you feel like someone is there staring you down as you run by. Anyway I get around the corner and go down this hill. On my right near the bottom there's a gate to this mansion that's all lit up. After the mansion there's a dense, proper forest and none of the trees have leaves due to it being winter. The street lamps light up the front few trees, but you can't see anything but a wall of black when you try to look into the forest. Anyway, had this song playing on my headphones while I was running and I ran faster than I have in a long time. Thought it was similar to the video, sorry about the wall of text.

With few exceptions here and there I had mostly given up on finding completely original new music and sounds until I stumbled into Archy a few months ago. I can detect a bit of the Pixies influence here, maybe Sonic Youth (but I don't recall if he has ever cited SY as something he listens to) His taste is crazy eclectic and diverse, one of the reasons I love him..but really he is just so fresh and original, fucking genius talent. He has at least one American fan in his late 50s.

@@helveeta That's cool. I wish I were in Sweden! But yeah, a few months ago I just randomly clicked on a 2013 performance on youtube. David Letterman, KK did "Easy, Easy" with his mates backing him. Totally different arrangement, of course, than the studio version from "6 Feet Beneath the Moon" I was like almost instantly hooked...and both are just brilliant. He is just an amazing talent, great songwriter, mind blowing vocal ability and phrasing!!! The impression I had was the same as seeing Talking Heads in 1978 in SUNY Binghamton gymnasium and R.E.M. in the summer of 1982 at some dive bar in Athens, Ga....and some other bands as well. You know, like these guys are edgy, underground, college alternative now, but sooner or later they are going to break out in a huge way. It's an ambivalent feeling were you don't want them to sell out, kind of keep them to yourself, still be able to see them perform live in more intimate venues with only a handful of people..yet you also want to see them have critical and popular success, make some good money for themselves/himself!

Rumour has it one time Oloff was sat next to Jar Jar Binks on a flight. Jar Jar kept kicking the chair in front of him and generally being obnoxious, nobody knew what to do. Eventually one of the flight attendants came over and asked Oloff if he would perform one of his songs to calm Jar Jar down, and when Oloff began rapping the first verse to Doing It Stealthy, Jar Jar immediately relaxed.
