That last bit of the video is how I run a POI myself. My goal is to get the Zirax over confident then when they're busy laughing I'll have my revenge by - of fiddle, I died.

The more I see of Reforged, the more I'm... discouraged from playing it.
So many amazing gameplay features and changes... offset by so much additional pain and grind and tedium, on top of massive additional risk of losing things you spent hours if not more getting, with no easy way to replace it, leaving you to look forward to more hours of just getting back to where you were.
And when a trick is discovered to make it modestly easier, Vermillion has a habit of trying to stamp it out.
I still remember what happened with the Black Pyramid's loot. It takes so long to do that POI, with an extreme amount of cost in ammo and meds, and the loot now is nothing short of disappointing. The POI is only worth doing to 'say you've done it'. There's no point to doing it repeatedly.
It starts feeling like a grindy F2P MMO.

That Sector Command would be easier if you used your new Cuttlefish attack ship.
Usually this instant death is related to broken armor. But seeing this are level 9 elite there should be a certain whopping included. But not sure the armor does even play a role in mitigating damage. Its just space cuties go through your closed armor suit right ?
So protection is a very relative term in Empyrion.
This does not feel very balanced, and certainly need some love.
Good luck with that, it does feel like Vermillion prefers suffering over fun.
Hi Spanj, it has been awhile since I played Empyrion. In the past if you took over the core of an enemy CV the ship would be destroyed. Does this still happen?
Only certain types of enemy ships. Specifically ships that are sent to POIs to "reinforce" them when they get attacked will despawn when cored. All others can be "captured" but captured enemy ships still cannot be piloted by the player even when captured.

I think the shield pen weapons are going to be the key to getting into the new sector command.. its gonna suck.
I haven't had time to run POIs in RE2 yet. I really hope they fixed that damn insta-kill nonsense. Heavy armor with x2 armor boosts and you get 1 spotted by a level 8 zirax you can't even see. That's a game breaking flaw that needed fixed years ago
thats just the game being a generally janky piece of...well. just the egs experience at this point, theyre never gonna bother polishing this game
The elite shot gunners hit harder and do more damage to you then some turrets. I wonder if they could be nerfed a little like all are stuff is nerfed
And I thought the little level 1 or level 2 comm relay or fuel depot was a pain to attack pre shields on my defense pod upgraded airship. I use unguided missiles to take out exterior turrets. The laser turrets inside have gotten me a few times now. My first time attack was a complete failure. I had to abandon ship and make a run for it. My original defense pod level 7 ship didn't have hardened steel blocks or armored cockpit or a shield. As you can imagine it was a disaster against the lowest level of the tiny enemy bases. There was very little left of my first attack vessel. You got off easy just losing a few items in your first vessel. I noticed how you can't remove the cores of these enemy bases on the starter planets.
I felt every grain of salt. POIs in this game do nothing but piss me off.
We want full version of Sector Command walktrough. With deathcount)))
did that as a two parter in the last RE season, plus this will be the 2nd sector command this series although the first was an event live streamed
@@Spanj yep I watched it. But still this is fun to watch. And lifestreamed event was not that fun. To many people just overpowered it.

Sector command is my go to for a Fusion core so its still a worthy endeavor.
I have never used my entry vehicle as a tank... Why have I never used it as a tank? I feel like the all out sprint up to the shield controls was unnecessary. lol
Also, I have always thought heavy armor should not fold in 1 hit to a shotgun. Terrible balancing with how janky the game is.
