Even if you don't DIY, choose a shop that will let you use your own parts. I bought a brand new Denso AC compressor from RockAuto for $250 when the shop wanted to charge me $600 for a refurbished compressor.
Airbag light was on in my Nissan Versa. Paid $150 for a dealer to "check" what was going on. They said they weren't sure what the issue was, and that we should start out with replacing the airbag for ~$1000 and "go from there". Instead, I bought a new clock spring from RockAuto for ~$60, problem solved. Another happy RockAuto customer! Love the magnets BTW.
Hey RockAuto, how about some community posts so we can start linking videos of ourselves installing parts from RockAuto? I have part 1 up and editing the rest of the series - installing a UAC compressor kit and I have upcoming spider injectors and distributor - all from RockAuto. Might be helpful to other RockAuto customers.

Ford dealership lets me bring my own parts. I bought my control arms, tensioner assembly, Oil & filter from RockAuto and they installed everything.
