What I dont get how people are drawing conclusions abt vijaya and gandhiva bows powers ?? Its not like the bows fought againt each other personally rather they were used by their wielders respectively. Well, parshuram trained and made karna capable warrior in every way, but when he learned about his birth.... he (in rage) cursed karna, but when his rage and anger cooled down, he realized he made a grave mistake, so to nullify that effect he gave vijaya bow to him.... and thus you can see, when lord parshuram's curse took its effect, karna was still holding it on against arjuna without any difficulty....so a teacher always cares for you.... unfortunately the 3 curse then affected him and that's why he lost....otherwise skilled karna with vijaya bow was legendary..... i feel that's why he only used it only once, because he knew, that curse will affect that day....
