- The Sky Glass is a great device. however the way it interacts with a Sky Glass TV or Sky Glass Puck could have been a lot better.

I recently migrated to Sky for TV and was sent a puck and the remote that you feature. I agree the “light up” feature is impressive as are the voice commands.
However, within two days the remote started playing up, it, sporadically, didn’t “light up” and pressing buttons failed to get a reaction on the TV. A day later and the remote packed up completely. I rang Sky and was told that the remote would need to be replaced as it was defective. Obviously, without the remote the puck is useless and the TV cannot be watched.
I then learned from Sky that this is a common issue and that there is now a two-week backlog on sending out a replacement remote.
So much for watching the World Cup!

I have had glitches as well. I find that the tv suggests that you are no longer in the room and asks that you wave the remote in order to continue viewing; this of course does not work I have to press select. I have also had a volume glitch on a couple of occasions, where the volume escalates to max, repeatedly, If I press the down key, nothing happens, it then climbs to max. Awkward in a terraced house, especially with Dolby sound.
I have all but given up on trying to open the remote to change the batteries. The TV is only months old, but the batteries have gone. Despite watching another Y/tuber, I have failed to remove the back casing.
The remote absolutely eats batteries between 4 - 8 per month!
Really, mine has run out a few times over the year but that’s krazy, has u spoken to them about it?
Yes, a known issue! the first remote didn't work at all and they replaced but this new one eats batteries, our 2nd Stream box upstairs remote doesn't have the problem.
I’m on the second controller on this telly and it stopped working. Really frustrated with these remotes. If I could I’d give this tb back to Sky.

Hi mate. I got sky glass with the puck. I’m going to put my sky box into my Amp which is in my garage. My tv work over a balun system. My question is do these remotes work or IR or only Bluetooth? Can it be switched from one to another ? Cheers mate
I’m pretty sure it uses both, power and volume for tv is IR. The other commands are Bluetooth. Hope this helps

I have sky stream and the remote is shite. It keeps unsyncing itself and sometimes I can't resync it.
Mate, mine used to do that all the time, was so annoying (on the tv remote not the puck remote) then one day it just worked ok, I assumed it was an update, but maybe there is an issue there. Thanks for sharing

Do you not like Skyglass? sometimes it goes for the volume goes high with a rustling noise the only way to stop it is the switch off by the power After the contract has finished Going back to sky Q and plug it in to the sky glass. The picture was better last time I tried it and miss recording
And the batteries don’t last long in control
And cannot play call of duty on it. It is too slow keep getting killed Samsung Q led so much better boy broke it so had to go to sky glass

lol there is a arrow on the back. Push down in that area while you slide the the back piece in the direction of the arrow 👍
