Your definition of a 'rough day' is a little different than mine, where a rough day typically means I'm hoping the electronics are salvageable. Glad you are finally starting to embrace the ironing method, it really improves the look and the durability. Can'wait for the plans!
Hey Flitetest, you can pretty much make everything fly, so can you guys make a B17 or B24 with turrets that shoots the lazer tag guns against a BF 109 or ME 262 or FW 190? Thanks!
@The history guy They just did a dog fighting video using lasers, but go ahead and try belittling people when you're the ignorant one. It's "they're" by the way. Idiot.
Actually doing a laser tag system for a dogfight or one of the videos where they to a tank vs plane would be very cool to see The only downside is you can’t actually see the lasers flying and hitting stuff, but still would be cool to see a lot of
Want an idea? You should make a giant plane, it has the make it to the marked location which may be your location! There will be 2 or 1 planes trying to chase it off before the giant plane deploy the bombs. You can use a B-17, Stuka, B-36, B-52, XB-30 any bomber. But the location has to be far, the planes can’t just make it in 30 seconds Lol. Make it far enough that 6 or 5 minutes. If the bomb hits the area you win! Also, the bomber plane has a large ribbon, like the classic videos. Good luck if your reading this!
Love the DC-3/C47's My father worked at Douglas Aircraft in 1941 doing the upholstery on them. He served in the Pacific on a Escort Carrier. I found an image of her returning damaged Aircraft back to San Diego with at least one C47 lashed to her flight deck. He got to count his 3 years of service as seniority when he returned to his job. Douglas was a great employer.
Or the FW-189, it's a little more conservative design, but it's cockpit was more unique than others recon aircraft, but the BV-141 is really so asymmetrical
Love to supersize a C-47, BF-109, P-47 to 1/12th scale (or 1/6th) and use it to buzz WWII reenactments. The Army used MiG-27 drones and they did a fair job of putting realism into NTC.
idk about the Nitro part.... It seems like it would be pretty difficult as nitro motors vibrate like hell and you would need to find a way to fuel proof the wings+fuselage. Just seems like a lot of work for not much payoff
@@fuzzcopter467 packing tape for fuel proofing and they don’t vibrate that bad, sure some reinforcements should be added but it would be sick. I’m thinking about doing a nitro foamy soon too
Just throwing this out there. I grew up in Northern AB Canada and in the summer we would always have forest fires and water bombers going all the time during dry season. I would love if you guys built a water bomber with a spotter plane would be super cool.
super cool!!!! I've done slot car and Rc baja trucks for years. i have just got into this hobby and I've started with a eflite Brave Night Flyer. lot to learn I've been watching you guys videos all weekend over the 4th lol. i have a small 3d printing company and i found that ppl are building planes with 3d printers. crazy!!! i am teaching my self to fly with help with your guys lol. i have wrecked my Brave but with you glue stick video and a bunch more am rebuilding and looks like all be back at the air fields this week :) keep it up guys!!!!
Can't believe it's been over 10 years since your first video was released. It's just like yesterday when I first watch your channel. Really wish time could go slower. Don't know why I am becoming so emotional, maybe I'm just getting old :(
That Plain Flew awesomely, my two favorite Large Plains from ww2 is the C-47 and the B -17 it's a wonderful sight to see this take to the Skys. I wish you all the best of luck in your Next endeavors. From Sabertooth Animations, Fly High and Peace out ;3
Off the wall though. How would a pair of simple skids just over the prop radius effect things? Maybe it could keep you from beating the snot out of your props at landing. Just a random thought on a lazy Saturday. Keep up the good work!
@@Bendigo1 the guys in the video used numbers for each part of the plane to know what part went where. Same with the parts of the houses, they put numbers on the boards and beams for the builders to put them in the right place. 👌👍🏼👌
Here's a challenging request for you guys. Please make a couple of WWII experimental planes (which actually flew), and get them to dogfight. The planes I have in mind are the US Curtis Wright XP-55 Ascender versus the Japanese J7W Kyushu Shinden. My dad (US Army) fought against my uncle (IJA) at the same battle (Lingayen Gulf) in the Philippines. This would be kind of a tribute to them. They became the best of friends after the war. These planes are very similar in concept though also very different. Would love to see how they would perform against each other in a dogfight. Thanks!
I have often wondered why you don't do rudders and the differential thrust. I think this video shows where that cold be useful. If it wasn't C47 it probably would have rolled over into the ground. Love your videos, just think you should not rely on differential thrust alone, I bet it saves a plane one day.
The way engine 1 broke reminded me a lot of of the moovie where Bud Spencer and Trence Hill come cruising into the airport in a matt pink C-47 🤣😁 you should paint it pink and paint burnout stains around the engine cowling of engine 1
Awesome plane- see you have got the flappy wing disease well under control. The 47 seems to fly really well- even with one engine out and such it had glide for days. Send Mickey McBrian a kit- he'll love it and put it in his dad's freight line colors- Buffalo Air- where a plane that dropped chutists on D- Day still makes a living hauling freight. FR

Yeah, I just saw two great landings, and the one with the missing prop was even better than the one with both motors available. ;-)
With me a rough flight is a VERY hard lading or dive into terra firma

b17, b29, 24, 25 maybe b52 or even lacaster or anything with turrets. I 100% support this idea.
How about making a flite test branded ammo belt for glue gun sticks for easy access storage for the huge amount of glue used for each build?
*write that down! Write that down!*

And a battery holder to power the glue gun for repairs out in the field

I really badly want them to build a giant b17 or a giant b29. That would be so awesome to see.

AC130 with airsoft mechboxes stickout out the fuselage.
They did a monster c130 a few years back, good episode

Hey guys! I thought it would be interesting if you made a German World War 2 BV141 reconnaissance plane
:o
That would be cool
Or the most massive planes they can build, either the bv238 flying boat or the b36 peacemaker
Mr Megalodin I think that is a great idea but if you look up a picture of a BV141 you’d see the unsymmetrical design and that is where I’m going

I love how you get the complex shapes of the aircraft down with that foam board
Do you guys think you can make a helicopter like the UH-60 black hawk for my dad?
This was one of the first planes I built and I posted about it on the Flitetest forums. Loads of great people there👍
@FliteTest 2:45 i suggest adding a rudder that can be turned on or off midair as well as differential incase u lose a motor or prop **foreshadowing**
I just brought your A10 warthhog kit and it's awesome
Decked was a really good idea for a sponsor considering your audience. Nice product!
Tail wheel lock is usually unlocked for taxi , then locked for T.O. It limits travel so your takeoff is less squirrely. Great job.
My grandfather used to fly those; thats beautiful! He would have loved this!
Needs aluminum tape skin 😆

This is the kind of content and projects that got me interested in RC and FT, i am excited to see what new and interesting content is coming next!
Maybe you can make a mechanism to drop little paratroopers out of the C-47.
