I have to agree. The Kymron machine, made in china with identical overall parts is much better than the auction machine. Even the identical Briggs engine used in both machines is so much quieter in the Kymron unit ran at half throttle. The hydraulic valves, which are identical in both machines, are so much smoother in the Kymron even though they are the same unit installed in most all Chinese units of this size. Personally, I'd go with the Kymron even though 95% of the parts are the same on both units. It's just purtier.
As long as the price was the same. I don’t believe that this machine is any different than the other. They are both Chinese built and very cheap compared to reputable models. If you’re remotely smart you can fine tune and learn to run them. Parts will be hard to find as they are built With unconventional fittings and what not. You would be a fool to pay more then 8k USD for theses period. They are simple and lot of RUclips videos to help figure out parts/part numbers. If you want a pristine machine buy something name brand
Very informational video. I just saw some AGT's for sale in my area for under 7k but thanks to this video there are a lot of differences that are obvious.
I have an 2023 AGT q12 (bought for 4,200.00) and i have been to the KYMRON facility in Muskogee Oklahoma. I pulled in their with my trailer and AGT on the trailer and compared the Exact model in this video. Austin at K&R let me unload my machine and do a side by side comparison to 2 of their 14 series machines. Both of them were way smoother than the AGT! The KYMRON also seemed to have more weight without a doubt. My AGT did not even have a counter weight was first thing i noticed. I also measured the pump on the AGT and KYMRON. The KYMRON pump was over 1/2" longer. Ultimately I sold the AGT last month and just bought the KYMRON XH20D and have been more than impressed and will have update videos soon.
The auction I would worry about as it may of been a return or some reason it is at the auction. I just bid on a FF12 that went for $4100.00 plus fees so about 5k but I would not buy from the auction at that price. I called and talked to Bryce today and am thinking of the RH14G but need to think it over as I need one for projects on my property. Looks like a nice machine but then I watch a review on RUclips of a guy that shows the 5 things he hates about his Kymron. Doesn't have a model number on it so maybe it was when they were first sold. He showed the seat bolt missing and the choke lever pull too far out and rust at different areas . He also complained about the speed and I know a Mini Yanmar that is 20k is slow also. That to me is not an issue. I ask when and where he bought it. Wish you had a west coast dealer. I will get a shipping quote and then make a decision. Thanks for the video. Been watching watch quite a few of your videos.
That thumb is attached with bolts which can quickly and easily be removed with a crescent wrench.
You can also buy the hydraulic ram to make it power like the Kymron.
Send me that agt industries junk and I'll run it hard doing some landscape work around my house

I think the q models don't have a counterweight, and the straight h12 has one, but kymron counterweight looks thicker.
I would feel stupid if I said the thumb is in the way. They don't even have any RH14G at the moment.
Need one of these for our metal detecting adventures!
Maybe I missed it but does the kymron have oil cooler and filter?
They both have the same briggs motor so why is this one louder?
Because he ran it at lower rpm 😂 same as when he left a manual thumb down and then complains about it hitting the ground first.
but how do they compare in the real world.....aka. the dirt
it was purchased to do a digging comparison video, but with it having an engine issue we called it off.
@@krequipmentriiiiight 😉 Engine issues 😉😉 Just like that thumb would be in your way 😉😉😉
