It's his uvula. It's actually not that hard. Juat a growl mixed with letting the uvula flap. Still kudos to a badass sounding technique
One of the few vocal techniques I can’t seem to figure out. Been trying to replicate that since the song came out but can’t quite get it. I’ve had a little success rolling my tongue but it doesn’t sound just right.
@@John-yh7mr Do you know how to roll an r on the top/roof of your Palate? There's two ways to roll n r. The other way is with the tongue alternating (that's the typical rolled r, for example in Spanish). I mean the other option without using the tongue. Try doing that then slowly add a growl
A few other vocalists can do it, too. Lukas Swiaczny of Stillbirth, for example.
it's not even a growl boys, you don't know what he's doing :) It's so simple that you won't believe how he does that
3:51 Actually, you can. Well, there's no actual phlegm involved, but it's like clearing phlegm. Kyle William of Babirusa can do it. Here's a demonstration: ruclips.net/user/shortsQ6CpbWRThrA
Here's him doing it in a cover: ruclips.net/video/c2vwh5u8Gfw/видео.html
I don't think CJ is doing it that way, though.
nope, you're wrong
@@hedonist9249 Incorrect.
@@spitz5183 cj is shaking his cheeks while doing tunnel throat, he explained this technique on his stream
@@hedonist9249 I was talking about the “phlegm” technique. Re-read my original comment. Nowhere did I ever state that CJ is doing that technique (which is why I said at the end of the comment “I don’t think CJ is doing it that way, though”) nor did I ever deny that he shakes his cheeks to create that sound.
"Wtf" Part got me dying 😂❤
The king is back 🔥
"That shit was bananas."
Yes, yes it was.
Your the only one besides myself who said he sounds like predator👊
Plenty of people have said it as well, though.
@@spitz5183 haha I mean I'm sure we aren't the only ones who think so but most people say he sounds like a raptor or dinosaur which I think is a bit off
Love everything. Music video and reaction
He’s easily top tier vocalist, but I wonder if he can hold that growl for that long in a single breath. Definitely need a one take cover for this🤘
more than likely, when it switches tone im pretty sure he goes to inhale like he used in signs of the swarm
It still amazes me that there still people who say “ anyone can do it”
yeah its definitely not easy, but i loved cjs live vocals when he was in lorna so i really hope to see a live vocal one take too
Well how is he supposed to not do it in a single breath? You can literally hear him do it in 1 breath, tf. Seems like you don't know shit about vocals or mixing
Fantastic reaction. Love it, and CJ
Longest growl in Deathcore. Maybe Dickie Allen was close in Blasphemion but this is insane
You got a follow from me great Texas Tech banner in the back
Totally awesome and real feels reaction.. loved it!!
The wtf part is the best reaction to this video from any reaction video
It’s meh for me idk now tryna hate it’s not mid or an L just idk
I think this is one of the funniest and greatest reactions of this song!
Clever girl
Excelent reacción 😈
It is something with his tung because I can make that sound
not his tongue. Its Uvula and vibrato with his throat.
@@attrition71 nope, it's not uvula :)
