Just discovered your channel -- grear video! Love Google My Maps, and the rest of your tips. The only wrinkle I would add is to maybe ask your friends for travel suggestions in a more private forum, like an invite only Facebook group or group chat. Maybe I'm just paranoid, but broadcasting your travel plans online can open your home up to potential property crimes. Otherwise, keep doing what you're doing!

Why do you need to go by the visitors center tho? ?
Probably to take a memorable photo, especially if on a trip with friends
A lot of cities will have free parking at visitors centers, info, coupons, etc
