No lie, I actually tried bartending school out thanks to this anime and realized how much I'd much rather the stereotype alley bar or a jazzy place than any of the bars I've ever seen in the States and just never pursued being a bartender. Idk if it's in the show but some of my favorite stories are those of a disgraced politician, a journalist that comes into the bar to get Ryu to give him info on his patrons and an trio of friends meeting up after a really long time when it's clear they're different people now and barely have anything in common. Please read the manga if you can, it's wonderful too. I wish they'd translate all the spin offs and sequels that have also been published
I have specifically subscribed to you because of the mention of a playlist on Bartender. I'm especially jonesing for the Sledgehammer from the last episode of Bartender: Glass of God. I googled the recipe and it is absolute anarchy out there. People put fucking sunny delight... absinthe... vodka... no vodka... this seems to be a cocktail from the Ranma Saotome School of Bartending because anything goes. If you can show me how to make a Sledgehammer that's anything like Ryu's, then you will have made my Glass of God. Who knows, you might even give me the kick I need to go back to writing.
I'd love to make your Glass Of God - now I just have to catch up on the new Bartender. At some point, I'd love to do a full video on Glass of God too, but I've still got SO MANY Bartender videos to edit.

They did a reboot of this series that sticks more closely to the manga, but I still prefer the almost poetic feel of the original. Even now, I hear that narrator in my head, talking about the old man and the sea...
You're my favorite small youtuber of recent! You mentioned Pikachu and it got me thinking, maybe you could do a tiki drink video based off the orange islands or alola. It's also close to winter time so maybe some winter drinks based off one of the icy episodes of pokemon
Also one piece will get you a ton of views if you find a cool drink for them (there are at least 4 bar scenes and so many different places it souldnt be hard)

Maybe that's what finally sends me down that rabbit hole...
@@MixingMediaShow no hostility from me man I got through alot before I finally decided to watch it but as far as getting channel growth, one piece is a great avenue. Take your time with it tho, don't rush it, you only get to experience it the first time once! Also helps there are so many arcs and themes you could play with for the cocktails lol (devil fruits, islands cultures, drinks for different characters, ect)
