- So lately, I have stepped out on the pier and spent a few days (not all at once) out there catching a whole bunch on Skunks! Not the best time of the season for cobia but they are out there! Things will pick back up before they pack their bags and head back South! That’s where most of my concentration has been. Cobia vids to come!!
But this video consists mainly on partial day trips to random fishing locations targeting a variety of species! Lots of fun and even caught a few fish! Give it a watch and see some of the spots I fish as well as what I target there!

Yeah bro buckroe was a bust. Caught nothing but smalls. Once my motor is finally finished I plan on hitting up the salty side of james or york if you're interested

Lol! Man it was fishy! There was pan sized fish jumping all around that bridge. I think I may try a sabiki there next time to see what they are and turn em into bait?!

I know you posted this 9 moths ago but where is that inlet? I looks familiar almost looks like by the Amphib base. My wife and I want a decent spot to fish. 4th view Pier wasn't all that good.
Looks like the north side of the Rudee inlet.
Look up east beach. I was there today. 4 hours of nothing. But park by dolphin run and walk to the rocks.
Also don’t stand on the rocks because it’s a huge fine
I fished those spots and never had any luck.... you should try the inlet side for red fish. 🇵🇭🇺🇲🤙🏽🙏🏽
I’m try hard to find jetty like structures in Va to fish. Have my salt water license. Any names you can give me to google to find addresses?
Yea they can be tough. I have tried that side and found some drum in the fall :)

Where in Virginia? I'm in Va and there's no saltwater until I hit Virginia Beach which is 3hrs from me.
Many of the rivers become brackish and then salt. Yorktown will provide salt water and hopefully less of a drive :)
@@ZackBostick sorry I forgot about Sandy Point Beach which is 2hrs then there's Colonial Beach and Westmoreland State park too.

It was in the car and he just wanted to wear it :) Sometimes the kids will pick stuff up and put it on just because…. Might also be because I ate hot wings that day that were kinda sketchy and couldn’t stop farting. So maybe he was wearing it because of that too? That's my kid. We carry masks with us when we're out, but him wearing it in the few seconds that you viewed him was his choice. Since you're so intrigued on why my son decided on it - he said he wanted to wear it because it helped keep the sun off of his face. Kind of like the face shields/wraps many sportsmen wear, but him being eight - improvised with what he had. If you have further questions about "the kid", please feel free to address me, his mother.

It’s by Yorktown fishing pier. They have many spots you can pull off and fish, including this one!

I looked at all the inlets on google maps all i found is lynhaven and rudee. Probably not them but any inlet catches fish

@@ZackBostick throwing whole shrimp on a jig head seems to produce reds when nothing else will. Gulp mullets and swim baits mostly.
Cobia fishing just hasn’t been it this year all the keepers I’ve seen have been right before the season started
If you let em all go you never gotta worry about which ones are keepers 🙈🙈

No, not at all. Have had plenty of police officers watch me and others pull out fish from there, especially on the other side and not care. I called Virginia marine and they put me in contact with someone who works there and they were not concerned. They did say, no fishing on places like the pylons at rudee (bc there are signs). I’m not saying yes, you can fish there, just sharing what I was told.
