Thank you Father - I am home sick today and this Mass was beautiful and the homily so wonderfully appropriate, revealing the deepest Truth of our Catholic faith.
I am oneof those those who cannot make attend mass in person. I watch Fr. Mike's mass every Sunday morning and then watch the mass on EWTN later in the day. Thank you for your prayers and I pray for all who watch this mass.

Is the trail dark? Don’t sit.
Is the road long? Don’t stop.
Is the night black? Don’t quit.
God is watching. For all you know right at this moment He may be telling the angel to move the stone.
The check may be in the mail.
The apology may be in the making.
The job contract may be on the desk.
Don’t quit. For if you do, you may miss the answer to your prayers.
God still sends angels. And God still moves stones.
I will keep you in my intentions. I have been delivered from my mental health condition. I experienced anxiety and depression for nearly thirty eight years. There was a time that I did not attend church due to the anxiety and depression. I went through a period where I was truly suffering with agoraphobia for about four to five months. Ask for The Anointing of the Sick. I trust, in my heart, that He has delivered you from the depression. I offer this mass for you, and many more masses to come. We are all storming Heaven for you.

I am proud of you for gathering the strength to put on this video and praise the Lord. May he bless you and keep you. May he shine his face upon you. Your suffering is not worthless. And I pray in the name of Jesus Christ to rebuke the spirit of depression and anxiety from you so you may only be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
thank you for this mass . I’m a widow and I’m living in Costa Rica w my son. I love and go to mass here but I also love hearing Gods word proclaimed in English. Your mass unites me in another beautiful way . Thank you for doing this
Jesus is the light and the only truth in our world. I keep Faith in Jesus even as I constantly struggle to provide groceries and basic necessities for my children both of my sons are special needs taking care of them can be overwhelming at times but I seek and find comfort in our Lord Jesus. I started home schooling my sons, so my hours to work are very limited. God has carried me through so far. Faith is all we need. Thank you Lord I know a blessing is on the way. Amen

The blessings are not on the way dear one..they are right here, right now and in the trials, turmoil, struggling. Many of us are struggling in one or more ways than one. We are united in prayer and pilgrimaging on this journey. May we work to heal deep wounds that often lead us where we are now - mental, emotional and spiritual. Just keep modeling virtue, radical trust, with joy, and prioritizing. Embrace the current, and all that is happening, that makes you lean on Him more than you would if things were better. I'm talking the advice I'm giving because I'm struggling in ways I won't spell out, but just know you're far from alone and keep up the courage, and keep doing the right thing. God always rewards that.

Jesus was hurting so bad in his human body, but he had to die to cross over to be seated at the right hand of God, so praying to Jesus is very powerful Jesus knows how hard it is to live in the world , but with Jesus's love for us we are save in his arms of Powerful mercy , thank you Jesus the one and only Great king if the universe ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉 love you Jesus 🥰🙏

Thank you once again, Fr. Mike, for an inspiring homily. My last two weeks of suffering I will offer up and Accept. I have got closer to God and learned that the Surrender Prayer works (maybe the half-life is shorter than I want, but that's ok). I will paste on my monitor the motto "Fruitful Failure." I recall one of the prayers in the Litany of Trust, "My suffering united with yours will bear fruit in this life and the next, I trust in You, Jesus."

In addition, please consider livestreaming RCIA, Baptism and Confirmation, Marriage prep, etc. I realize that BIAY and CIY supplements all, but those that are considering Baptism or returning to the church, etc, and are still on the fence so to speak might turn to the individual programs much quicker than, say, the CIY or BIAY. Besides, Fr Mike, your delivery of the Word is quite comforting, quite amazing, and, quite frankly, transforming lives around the world. Fr Mike (and Ascension Press) thank you for your hard work and dedication.

Sad and inspired to hear the story of Jesus' journey to the Cross, Simon Peter's denial, Jesus' humiliation, and death. Failures can be fruitful, and that's what God and Jesus did to save the world. Similarly, our failures can be fruitful if we learn from them and use the lessons for a greater good and to fulfill God's will. Acceptance of the current situation as it is, Access to God to our life (Surrender - to give access, and not to give up), Action - making use of what suffering we have and uniting it with the Cross of the Christ. Excellent example of Father Walter and also how nursing homes can be the new convents as they can be symbols of surrendering the suffering of those people to God. I also attend 'Sundays with Ascension' Mass every Sunday using RUclips. Excellent work by you, Fr. Mike, the Pew Crew, and Team Ascension. Today's readings and orchestrations were perfect. God bless you all and the fellow attendees

When I share my story with others I quote Paul and Corinthians. I've suffered so much in my life: physically, mentally, spiritually. However Jesus rescued me and I have such peace now. I do still suffer physically, I have mental health issues from my past. I wouldn't change one moment of my suffering because in it all Jesus was there and I've grown so close to Him. I look back and am thankful to God for my suffering. Without it I wonder if I'd be this close to my Savior. Yes I rejoice in my suffering.

Thank you for explaining the meaning of suffering and what we need to accept in this act of carrying our cross. Great choice of Fr. Walter, a man who illustrated his journey into carrying his cross with Christ.
I am glad the church is embracing the message of suffering and it's salvific action. The saints and martyrs knew/know it and now we all know it.
Fr. Rafaal introduced Holy Week as the week where we can change the world. Fr. Mike in his exposition of suffering United to Christ's Cross shows us how.

Father. Mike theirs are two types of pain and suffering. One is called the normal every day from daily stress and strain the other is abuse from jealous relatives that hurts in the long run

Once the retirement, nursing, memory care facilities and hospitals become more in demand/more populated (popular), the cost/pricing of caregiving goes down and the quality of caregiving goes up! Because we are fearful of suffering and experiencing pain the funding for caregiving gets more expensive. We must surrender our wills to live alone (independent) and isolated by coming together, sharing in the burden and filling up our churches, filling up retirement communities, filling up nursing homes, filling up memory/brain change facilities so that the cost/pricing to keep these places accessible will be more affordable, more caring, more giving, better quality, better LOVING than ever before! All for One; One for All. Make of us one mind, one body in Christ. Amen.

Thank you Fr. Schmitz. I’m soon to convert (I’m in RCIA) and had to drive a long distance today, so having this to play while driving was good to have access to.
Jesus never failed. He offered atonement through His torture for the sins of each soul. He died to end eternal death for souls who choose life. His blood of the Sacrifice of His body gives souls freedom from the chains Satan had over souls. Souls are meant to live a holy life forever with God.
