It's dramatic because according to Snyder's original version this was not truly the end, but only a foretelling. Steppenwold didn't die, but was brought back to his world, to be punished by his Lord, Darkseid. The dramatic music would've had been a foreshadowing of the TRUE enemy of the Justice League.

Charles Marty Wish that was where they were heading, so Steppenwolf motivation is more visible. In the reshoot version, he is just a one movie bad guy like every Marvel villains ever (except Loki) so the story is not that deep. Also, I would have been nice to see that happen since it's a great way to teese the next JL movie villain - Dark Sied
Agreed, it's incredible how he talks no less than 10 or 12 times in the movies about the Mother Boxes (in a weirdly personal way, always calling to the "Mother"), while he only ONCE says to his minions : *"And we will conquer this world ... For Darkseid ..."* Goddamnit, I wish that there were not that many scenes that were cut, Steppenwolf's character development was literally butchered ...

Since this was done before Zach quitted the project so CGI is expected to look shitty. This is somewhat confirmed a Snyder's cut, the visual effects, thr colours scheme and the scores is spot on, Snyder's Trademarks
As much as it is pretty bad CGI in terms of realism, I kinda think it fits the overall movie, since its very ''comicbooky''. I almost think it was a conscious decision to make it look like it comes straight out of a comic book.
This made the scene so much more enjoyable and you can actually take it seriously. Sucks DC is failing cuz I love the casting. Cyborg was so awesome, his “So do I” line was delivered so gently and his facial expression was perfect. Hope we get a Snyder Cut and DC fixes their films going forward.
Nice! I know the color grading is closer to what Zack Snyder had but I still feel it's a bit off in this one. While I think most of us would love to see the Zack Snyder version and I will probably catch a lot of shit for this but I actually don't mind some of the brighter colors they use in the final film. That said this is still really well done

In the behind-the-scenes features for the movie you can see that that was their intent from the beginning. Zack Snyder was there in the room when they were talking about the costumes in their looks. So the brighter colors for the suits especially for Superman was there from the beginning. That wasn't the Joss Whedon thing. You bring up a good point though about the different colors and how they reflect each character.
Jeffery Daggs Superman's suit definititely looks better in a lighter color, it matches his "brighter" outlook on life. Less confused or melancholic over his purpose.
Bobo Boy check out ugly edits Channel. They have a rescore of the ending of the movie with the theme Man of Steel "an ideal of Hope". Check it out it's worth a view. Especially what they did with each Heroes symbol.

Much, much better than the theatrical release. Why did they eff with it after Snyder had to keavecbecause of his daughter's death. What the suits did to his film must have felt like another death. I did like the part in the TR where Superman and Cyborg joke about being in pain after pulling the Unity apart but agree that it was out of place in the movie. One of my favorite parts was when Steppenwolf yells This World is my Right! Wonder Woman gets pissed. It was her 'Here, hold my beer, there's going to be an ass-whuppin' moment.
Check out Steppenwolf's face, it has actual expressions and was apparently replaced rather hastily in the theatrical cut. The team seems more involved in the fight, as in the progression of the fight felt natural though itwas obviously because Joss used a heavily butchered version and with this colour scheme Steppenwolf actually looks good and more like an alien. Also with this colour scheme that last shot came out bloody perfect.
The movie was probably doomed with the whole "too many cooks" issue, but let's not pretend like the Snyder version would've been some kind of masterpiece.

With all the imperfections in the DC movies, including the Justice League, I still find myself watching them over and over. It's the way they make everything seem real and the mystical nature of most of their characters that get to me. When I sit down to watch, then every imperfection goes to the background where they don't matter. I am just wondering how much more it would be fun to watch their movies if they did everything right. I guess this is what fanaticism feels like.

Honestly u can’t fully blame DC for this. Joss Whedon and his reshoots did not help this movie at all. The CG in Man Of Steel, Wonder Woman and even BVS was at least serviceable or actually good. Here it looks pretty bad. Plus the writing clearly took a hit as well, it’s almost comically bad. I definitely would’ve rather seen Snyder’s vision through, it wasn’t the best but the potential was there. But thanks to WB, It’s gonna be awhile before DC can make a comeback against Marvel
I disagree I'm a huge DC comics fan, but Snyder does not know how to direct or tell a story for shit. Look at his actual movies. Batman Vs. Superman and Man of steel, and look how they turned out. It was about time WB got new directors. Look at the DCEU now without snyder. Its flourishing and is in way better condition than when snyder was in charge. We have SHAZAM!, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Birds of prey, and The Batman along with flashpoint and then Suicide Squad 2 which is directed by James Gunn. He has proven time and time again that his only vision of DC is to be dark and edgy without actually telling a story. DC is doing way better without Snyder and WB should keep it that way.

the CGI is not as bad as black panthers final battle scene. but JL and BP are both movies I enjoyed. BP had a better story though.

Much, much better than the theatrical release. Why did they eff with it after Snyder had to keavecbecause of his daughter's death. What the suits did to his film must have felt like another death. I did like the part in the TR where Superman and Cyborg joke about being in pain after pulling the Unity apart but agree that it was out of place in the movie. One of my favorite parts was when Steppenwolf yells This World is my Right! Wonder Woman gets pissed. It was her 'Here, hold my beer, there's going to be an ass-whuppin' moment.
Obviously more epic than what i've seen in cinema

Check out Steppenwolf's face, it has actual expressions and was apparently replaced rather hastily in the theatrical cut. The team seems more involved in the fight, as in the progression of the fight felt natural though itwas obviously because Joss used a heavily butchered version and with this colour scheme Steppenwolf actually looks good and more like an alien. Also with this colour scheme that last shot came out bloody perfect.

With all the imperfections in the DC movies, including the Justice League, I still find myself watching them over and over. It's the way they make everything seem real and the mystical nature of most of their characters that get to me. When I sit down to watch, then every imperfection goes to the background where they don't matter. I am just wondering how much more it would be fun to watch their movies if they did everything right. I guess this is what fanaticism feels like.

Honestly u can’t fully blame DC for this. Joss Whedon and his reshoots did not help this movie at all. The CG in Man Of Steel, Wonder Woman and even BVS was at least serviceable or actually good. Here it looks pretty bad. Plus the writing clearly took a hit as well, it’s almost comically bad. I definitely would’ve rather seen Snyder’s vision through, it wasn’t the best but the potential was there. But thanks to WB, It’s gonna be awhile before DC can make a comeback against Marvel

I disagree I'm a huge DC comics fan, but Snyder does not know how to direct or tell a story for shit. Look at his actual movies. Batman Vs. Superman and Man of steel, and look how they turned out. It was about time WB got new directors. Look at the DCEU now without snyder. Its flourishing and is in way better condition than when snyder was in charge. We have SHAZAM!, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Birds of prey, and The Batman along with flashpoint and then Suicide Squad 2 which is directed by James Gunn. He has proven time and time again that his only vision of DC is to be dark and edgy without actually telling a story. DC is doing way better without Snyder and WB should keep it that way.
