जून के दौरान मानसून की बरसात में कमी और भीषण गर्मी का असर गाड़ियों की बिक्री पर पड़ा है. गाड़ियों की मांग में कमी की वजह से ऑटो डीलर्स के पास इनवेंट्री रिकॉर्ड स्तर पर पहुंच गई है. ऑटो डीलर्स के संगठन फाडा के मुताबिक देशभर में डीलर्स के पास इतना स्टॉक पड़ा है जो 62-67 दिन की जरूरत पूरा कर सकता है. फाडा का यह भी मानना है कि कर्ज पर ज्यादा ब्याज की वजह से भी उनकी बिक्री पर असर पड़ा है.

Car prices have increased a lot.. On-road prices come on heavy for an average Indian buyer. So they are going for the second-hand market. Which I guess is booming.

4 basic reasons:
1. Income is reducing.
2. Tax is very high.
3. Life of petrol veh (15 yrs), diesel veh (10 yrs).
4. Very high interest rate so high EMI.
Car purchase is so costly. Middle class is avoiding car. Better we avoid as Govt wants to Tax common people more.
लोगोकें पास पैसा नही है. कर्जे बढ रहे है और आय बढ नही रही है.

New buyers are not there in the market. Do you understand what does that mean. No middle class is now moving to higher middle class. This is very dangerous in future. If gdp is increasing at 8% and money is not reaching to the hands of masses, means money is accumulating with few people only.
This theory is being validated with the fact that luxury/costly flats/houses are in demand whereas affordable housing demand is decreasing.
Due to high taxes n corruption govt is looting middle class bt benefiting rich class

I think unless it's urgent necessity, don't buy car now a days. If bike is serving purpose then no need to buy car. Buying car these days is just giving huge business to car related industry.

Sir inflation toh har saal badhtii hai. Private sector mein jo maximum jobs hain woh aaj bhi 10-25 K tak ki hain. Upper management ko choodkar kisko mil raha hai money. Jab money nahin aayegaa toh kharidengey kahaan sey. Maximum money sirf kuch logon key pass ikattha ho raha hai. Upar sey 15 saal maximum waala niyam aur quality down. Govt ko toh bas tax chahiyee. Agar kisi ki car mein manufacturing defect ho toh govt kaa koi role nahin. Bas paisa milta rahey as GST. Baaki manufacturer jaaney aur customer. Videsh mein aisi ghatiyaa cars toh bech nahin paatey manufacturers. India mein toh Gadkari ji ney structural stability sey zyaada airbags par focus kiya hai. Paint quality, rusting etc kisi ki koi guidelines nahin. Upar sey traffic itnaa zyaada hai ki bahut kam hi hongey jinko actually pasand aayegaa itney traffic mein car chalaama. Upar sey baarish ho jaayee toh paani sadkon par bhar jaata hai aur log chaahey 10 saal kaa registration tax bhar dein lekin state govt jab chaahey unko chalaaney par ban kar sakti hai in name of pollution.
Aur uske chalte log ola uber me aur v paise udate hein

None of the business has more than 12 to 15 % net profit margin while government is taking 28 % GST without substantial contribution to that business. Common sense of policy makers at its lowest level. How can you expect growth in the market? Even worse is that such hefty taxes are used to build third class infrastructure that is not even sustainable for even one rain season. Government should focus on improving the infrastructure for public transport so that money can be saved and used for purchasing luxury (those who can afford without taking loan).
If you take example of fortuner.. Manufacturer margin is only 3-5% depending on car size. Similar goes for the showroom. Car's actual cost is around 50%. Rest goes to the government.

It may be bad for exonomy but cars should be now only for the real rich people and common man can buy for luxury use not day to day use. Environment is getting real damage, noise pollution, traffic problems are increasong. So public transport ahould increase. Of dourse its not a single solution, there will be many wings. But use of petrol diesel should go down (which means electric car also indirectly using the power plants)
Car parking is a big problem... Parking is not available in societies.... So Ola and Uber is a better option

Ex showroom price has 28% GST, Cess 21% , 1% cess at showroom , extra 3% cess on diesel on top of this lifetime road tax, registration charges, insurance . Only 30% of money is the cost of car. Rest 70% is govt taxes
