Hi Chris - Thanks for the thorough review. I’d like to address your concerns pointed out in your video. Fitment; Looking at your video, the mats actually appear to have a great fit outside of that ~3”x3” square spot by the passenger seat where there is a lack of coverage. Your statement is that they “don’t fit” but they are installed nicely and seem to fit great outside of that one spot that doesn’t have coverage. What’s different in the heavy duty industry versus automotive is that semi-trucks are typically customized. i.e. - you have an air ride seat and others have a totally different seat and seat base. The mats you have were some of the 1st mats we designed. Like most companies, we’ve learned along the way and the newer mats we have are even more customizable with cut lines for larger seat bases, fire extinguishers, etc. We’re currently working to update the fitment on this mat to eliminate the gap and have full coverage. In 2013, when this version was designed the static passenger seat was the largest common seat base we found to test fit. You can see fitment pictures here: www.dropbox.com/sh/n6f07klqadw1cik/AACDkREFmUJiNrRRuchnSsFua?dl=0 Even though the mats are already well used and meeting the specifications, we will personally work with Unique Truck Equipment to reimburse you for these floor mats. If you have additional comments or concerns, please contact me, Sarah Esplan, Customer Service Manager at 800-248-3855. I apologize you had a bad experience with this purchase. I can assure you Minimizer does stand behind their products and distributors. This is backed by almost 1,000 Google-certified reviews and 4.5 stars out of 5. I feel terrible that you had a bad experience and we’re going to make it right.
I have them in my 579, and honestly, have had zero fitment issues. They, along with Centramatics and a Minimizer seat and mattress are the add ons that I would not do without. Easy to install, take out, clean, and they will absolutely save your floor, especially as much as I end up in muddy, snowy, messes at tank washes. Sorry you've had trouble Chris, but I wouldn't part with mine brother.
Yup, this is why I have not purchased these for my 579. Since most companies copied this design, every other company that makes floor mats for the 579 have this same dumb feature.
Darn that's too bad. I have a set in my W900 that are about 10 years old that fit and work perfectly. Sucks to hear their quality assurance and customer service have become so poor! I have heard good things about Redline floor mats.
Actually if you bought them using a credit card and it was an out of state purchase and they are REFUSING to refund your money... I believe you can call your card company and find out. Hopefully you have documented proof of what has transpired, or at least kept a written log. Good luck in the fight against Corporate America.
Was up kids! Thanks for the info!!! Need help please!! Looking into getting new seats ! Whay you think? Bostrom or legacy? Any help will be appreciated! Stay save kids!!
They are both excellent seats. But i have only bought the legacy for the last 7 years and they have been great. It the prostar i had factory hi end seats and they where so good
I have a Legacy Silver in a 2019 Peterbilt 579 and absolutely love it. However, If you’re looking for it to swivel it can’t. I bought a swivel seat and there isn’t enough clearance on the left side for it to turn.
So they ran up the time just so they could say that the product is no longer available for a return. That's the scam they have going on. Ya i would never buy anything from Minimizer.
HI GUYS, WHAT BS THAT SOMEONE WOULD SELL SUCH AN INFERIOR PRODUCT. THERE IS A COMPANY CALLED WEATHERTECH THAT MANUFACTURES FLOOR MATS FOR BIG TRUCKS AND THEIR PRICES ARE EXCELLENT. WE HAVE BEEN USING THEM FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND THE FIT IS PERFECT. LOOK THEM UP AND MAYBE GIVE THEM A SHOUT OUT. TAKE CARE, BE SAFE AND HAVE A BLESSED DAY IN JESUS NAME, WINNY FROM PGH., ✝️👏😇🙏👍🇺🇸 PS WEATHER TECH COULD BE TWO WORDS

How strange that I would see this video. I was actually just looking at minimizer floor mats, LOL
I’m surprised Weather Tech hasn’t made floor mat for big rigs might be a market for them.
They do for some trucks although the ones I’ve seen are trim to fit but I haven’t looked for many brands.

Thanks for that man
I would get weather tech made in the USA! 🇺🇸

Very few trucks nowadays don’t have air ride seats, what was they thinking. Lol
They are dragging their heels too much
And not designed for air ride seats?
In a major brand rig? Gimme a break!
They deserve a bad review
Ray Charles must’ve done the layout and measurements 😂
