I used your link to buy one to put on my pontoon boat. I am getting so tired of scrubbing the carpet to get the sand out so the carpet will not grow mold. Spend more time cleaning the carpet than I do enjoying the boat it seems like sometimes. THANK YOU for the recommendation!

I picked up two at Home Depot today. I only had to trim 1" off each edge of one of them and it fits perfectly in the entryway of my '21G. Thanks Scott... these are great!

Had this for 2 years for the outside of the 59G. With many trips of use, it still keeps the camper cleaner. For the inside, however, I use a soft and squishy bath mat which finishes off any items still on the shoes and does a great job of soaking up water. Leaving the van, just pick up an edge and shake it off outside then flop it back into place.

After camping in FL and cleaning the sand out of my van twice a day this is exactly what I need. I take my shoes off but my two dogs track it in even with an outside and inside rug. I just ordered it through your page. I will let you know how it works. We will be heading to Montana and Wyoming next month I am hoping this works. I am loving my 2022 GL.

Love your tips and content Scott! Side note question about your precious Tuxedo... how often do you use the Volta to keep your kitty comfortable while you're out and about? I know you love the Volta system. Trying to decide how much I'd use it. I do love the idea of air conditioning for myself and more importantly my furry friend when its needed.
I use the volta system to run A/C when the night is hot inside the van, and in the daytime. All depends on exterior temp, staying out of sunlight, interior temp + time and place. Bulletproof system for keeping creatures cool

Very useful information thank you. I often see videos of van campers using a much larger outdoor mat, which appears to have holes in it. I assume this area is then used for setting up a table and chairs or even yoga practice. Have you had any experience with these larger mats?
my expereince with outdoor rugs for van travelers that stay in motion is a waste of $$ and storage space. had one and quickly donated it

Yeah, it is strange the online item number is a slightly different. I like the one I showed in the video. You might have to go to Home Depot and examine the mat for yourself. Sorry about that.

Thanks for the info. One non-mat related question. What brand brush guard is on the front of your rig?
Cannot remember actually, and was ordered through Walmart several years ago. Last I looked it was no longer available. Off Highway Van in Salt Lake City offers a similar guard installed. Check them out and tell ‘em Scott of GSLL sent you . www.offhighwayvan.com

does your cat actually stay on command? I've had multiple cats in my life and not one of them would do that - unless they wanted to! I've trained dogs so it's not as if I don't have skills. they do vary in temperment but...maybe i just never tried hard enough...😁☮️
Texedo does STAY on command. Sadly he is no longer with me as he escaped. Destined not to be a van cat
