You did a much better job of presenting this product than they did this evening on HSN where this is the special of the day. The close up of how the buttons work was great. I got one, I am using a Ninja 4 in 1 for a couple years now, time to upgrade and keep the old one just in case. I LOVE these cookers.
I just ordered mine. Thanks for the review.
You must have a shed in the back to store all these appliances 🤣
a basement full of shelves
We just got our Ninja Cooker today.. Making Smoothered Chicken ! Nice Review ! Thanks !
Your video gives more information than Ninja's Infomercial; Thank You for not having the awful LOUD intro music that other Videos include.
Great review!
I want a larger slow cooker. The options make this one interesting.
Thanks for all the measurements
Nice review ..you went for the most important real fast …thanks
Glad it was helpful!
handle on the lid does get hot there is a little flame icon also on it and the book it comes with says always use pot holder for lid
Is the spoon going to drip on the lid and on down?
Many reviews talk about the temp range being an issue (low too low, high too high), also no steam basket & steam function means it's a pot.
i have not noticed that
Can you do a Christmas ham for us ?
Hi, can you cook rice? Thanks
Just double checking, so what would you say slow cook High temperature is? and what would you say slow cook? Low temperature is?
the time can go down more after hitting start
Although not an available specific feature, has anyone figured out an air fryer hack for this model?
Can this make rice?
I was comparing the pro to the other Ninja slow cookers I took notice the pro don't have an inside timer a built-in timer it shuts off automatically. That's why I decided not to buy the pro. The other models of ninja slow cookers do
I'm shocked there's just Hi & low temps with no way to control it. I'll have to see how long it can stay on without auto-shutoff and what those hi/low temps are. I'm SUPER worried about the non-stick coating. Looks like basic teflon.
I had the original , just black.
I feel like I missed something. Why did you prepare it all in a separate pot and then transfer it into this one. Couldn't it all just have been done in this one cooker?? Please tell me why you used a separate pot. Seems to be defeating the purpose of this all in one cooker which I do have.
How does this differ from an instant pot? I use my instant pot a lot. Looks like this doesn't have a feature for pressure cooking. So it is just a slow cooker?
yeah it has steaming and some other functions but no pressure cooker
@@JustADadCan this work almost like cooking on a stovetop ? Or it’s mainly just slow cooking which takes long?
Thanks for posting slow cooker minimum time of 3 hours - someone has incorrectly indicated this as 6 hour minimum on Amazon.
You're welcome!
You can also get the time lower than 3 hours, my wife did it once but she does not remember how.
I just bought it and noticed that it doesn’t have an air fryer function. Is there any other function that works similar?
no not really
Can the cooker deep fry chicken?
no it can't
I have both the Ninja 701 Smart Lid Foodi, (which I absolutely love) and recently got this Possible Cooker Pro. I have two issues so far that I may not understand? The first is the slow cook Hi and Lo temperature function. The Hi is really high and it really bubbles while simmering. But the Lo, is so low perhaps a bloop or two every so often. I even took a temperature read at 165 degrees, this after I turned it down to Lo from High. I also understand if it were to remain that temp it could be dangerous cooking for long hours.
The second issue is the sauteing. This too seems very low and I have yet to get my onions to caramelize. Perhaps they soften a bit but not caramelize turning brownish at all or perhaps I did not allot enough time... but it is definitely longer than my 701 model.
I would have thought there would be more temperature options on the slow cook and sauteing function as with the Foodi 701. I never did try the slow cook on the 701 because I heard that it only heats from the bottom, which is not as good as real slow cookers which heats on the side walls too. I like everything else about the Possible Cooker Pro, it is so easy to handle and clean as well as being attractive and lightweight.
I wonder if my unit is defective and I should return or that is how it was designed or I am missing something?
Thank you so much for your detailed comment. Somebody else mentioned the same issue! Combined with your review, I made my final decision to pass and not buy it unless you write back that you like it now after using it for a while. Thanks 😊
@@nadabushara2546 Hello Nadabushara, I kept this unit and I do like it. I do not use the slow cook function as much as others but it seems to be working better if I just leave it alone. As far as the sauteing, I solved that simply by using the "bake" function therefore I have full temperature control and it works just fine doing that.
I made Chicago spaghetti the other day and I was surprised how well that worked. I used leftover chili I had made a few days prior. I put the pasta in, my chili sauce, added some jar spaghetti sauce and "steamed" to cook and it worked great! I make yellow squash casserole frequently and that works well too under bake function.
One thing I really like about this cooker is how lightweight and easy it is to clean. I am more prone to use it because of that.
@@cgrape22 Thank you so much for your response. I'm reconsidering it again 😍 Keep enjoying it and sounds like you are a good chef 👌
@@cgrape22thanks for coming back with this response, I was also thinking of passing this as well, but now that you’ve said it can be used almost like cooking on a stovetop, I am considering it as well 😊
What’s the maximum time for slow cook?
I wonder if I can cook my Thanksgiving ham in there? 🤔
Absolutely!!
En español.
Lid is not oven safe, according to search results
Who cooks stuffing for four hours?
I wonder if it was good?
My powerXL MURDERS this one
So basically, it is just a huge rice cooker with plenty of buttons
