So refreshing to have someone who sounds so genuinely positive and optimistic talking about upcoming games. There is so much cynicism and toxicity on most gaming threads/videos this is like a breath of fresh air.
I clicked on your video randomly to have as a background sound while I drove back home but now I’m excited for the games that’s coming out this year! Your voice is actually quite nice for these type of videos. Keep it up!
I'm still waiting for "Freedom Planet 2" to be released, since I've been waiting seven years for the game to come out after being able to enjoy playing the first one on the Nintendo Wii U.
I never played the original but I have heard very good things about Freedom Planet 2, I intend to play it at some point soon! It came out on PC last year but console releases are supposed to be coming out this year!!
What a great video, you covered a lot of terrain! I follow indie reviews but had never even heard of Sea of Stars, so thank you, it's going right on the list! So is Little Nemo, which would be a game style new to me. I'll keep an eye out for more on The Plucky Squire, too. (I'd never heard of any of those!) I gravitate to cozy games and love Stardew but might scream if I see one more collection of farming sims, so I really appreciate the range of games you present, and your take on the games. I love indies for their creativity and individual charm and would prefer to experience some of the variety they offer. Not the strongest player by far, but am actually considering what you said about Elden Ring in your favorites of 2022 vid. Thanks, man. I subscribed.
Omg wow thank you so much, this is such a lovely comment!! ✨ I love cozy games too and I’m also a bit burnt out on the huge amount Stardew inspired games that keep releasing, I think cozy games to me is more of an art style or feeling rather than genre at this point I love unique indie games too and that’s the main reason I play so many different games - indie games are all so special and you can tell the creativity and passion that went into creating them! I would definitely recommend elden ring, but do keep in mind it’s still a very difficult game, just more accessible than other Souls games I think :)
Loved ''cozy games to me is more of an art style or feeling rather than genre". On an impulse, have you seen Golf Club Wasteland? Golf course on a catastrophically toxic earth that the superrich can visit for kicks after the few human survivors made it to a colony on Mars. Casual, good golf mechanic with 3 levels of difficulty to choose from. The killer soundtrack Mars Nostalgia Radio reminded me of Night Vale in the atmosphere-building. Subversive humor but has some heart. Good to zone out to, the soundtrack sees to that. There's a whole backstory to your player you can unlock piece by piece, or just do the golf part. I'm surprised I don't see more buzz about it.
@@melaniedickson7769 I have heard of this somewhere!! It looks really cool, I’ll put it on my wishlist! That reminds me I want to check out cursed to golf at some point as well !
A good point! I mentioned vocally if they were exclusive to a specific console for certain games but I can certainly include this in a better format for future videos :)

thank for put chapters in the video so I can look for the games that look intersting for me
I’m glad you appreciated that!! Adding chapters takes a bit of time but if it is helpful I will continue to do so next time :)

@@PastelPlanetoid Gotcha. One to put on the back burner though for sure. : D

Why not actually say what systems the games are for
