    You should start a kickstarter page for your cause to raise money for adaptive technology.

    I understand your devotion. Our daughter was in a germ free air locked chamber several years. Dad came in the afternoon for 12 hours inside. Mom came in the early morning & spent 12 hours. Sarah had many coma's often for weeks. We sang to her. Talked to her. Disinfected her. Even sterilized her tubes in both lungs & her stomach often. I will always remember when she woke up from a 51 day coma. She was weak, but could still softly speak. "Daddy, I can always hear you singing to me." I have no cartridge in my knees. TODAY I bought a 6 speed TRIKE BIKE inspired by your daughter. "GTN GEARSMITH" - My 50 yr class reunion is in 2015 - I sang a few songs by requesr of the ladies last time.. I need to get my lungs in shape if I'm going to sing ORBISON & TOM JONES next time.

    Go. Ginger. How impressive. I m looking for one of these for my special needs 6 year old nephew. Could you please tell me what your cost was? Did insurance help pay for any/all?

    • @NewDayVideos
      @NewDayVideos  9 лет назад +1

      +Donna Ochoa Insurance did not pay anything, although we did not try since we had gotten some other needed equipment and were told it was too much at once. It could be covered and is worth a try. There are organizations that donate adaptive bikes to special needs children. Try Christopher's Promise - they have a web site. They are a great organization and donated the bike to Ginger.

    Do you remember 20 to about 14 years ago a very young girl who had AML cancer, a cancer no one had ever survived. SARAH in Ohio - "Sarah's Song" & "Kiss Her Goodnight". She had a 1 mil health policy. She cost about 5 million in medical cost's & our international search "STICK UP FOR SARAH & HER FRIENDS" bone marrow registry drive cost about 3 1/2 million more. In Canada we found her perfect match. She lived inside an airlock chamber over 5 years. We were secretly informed we found donors for over 300 children globally. She could not go to school until 9th grade Graduated w/ honors all 3 levels & now is in scholarship for her PHD. She is administrator in central Ohio of a prototype program to counsel children & families in crisis. - Sarah's Song - Sarah Ashley SeCoy is here on RUclips - To love a physically challenged child & do every thing you can is the true definition of a MOMMY & DADDY The 5 years she lived in a "chamber" mommy took the day shift & daddy took the 12 hour night shift.

      What an inspiring story. It shows how much can be done with enough love and concern. Congratulations to Sarah and to you and your family. Ginger brings us such joy. I don't think those who haven't been close to a special needs child realize the rewards that come with the challenges.
