This case makes me so fearful because I can relate. I've been trying to leave a relationship since 2020. We agreed to make it a clean split and remain cordial/friends.
A year and a half later he finally moved out but would constantly show up (supposedly for the kids) It's just gotten worse and worse. I ended up sick and spent half a month in the hospital.
He used that opportunity to move himself back in to "help" without even asking me.
This last week I haven't slept because he fights and wont let me. I'm constantly on edge, he refuses to leave, cops say I need to file an eviction (even though he was moved out prior).
The other day he broke into my bedroom door while I was in the shower and attacked me. Hit me in the face while taking my phone. I was naked and soaking wet while he wrestled me. Thank God our oldest son got home from school. I wish he didn't see that but he ran into my room yelling and telling his dad he needs to leave and if he wanted to fight someone he can fight him, but to keep his hands off his mom (me).
I've cried daily and feel so drained, on edge, while constantly looking over my shoulder afraid of what will happen next.
Now he's playing victim, crying and saying I'm making him seem like a monster to our kids and i just don't see how much he loves me.
I haven't included our kids in anything. The kids are starting to see things for themselves. I'm just waiting on the eviction to go through. I feel so lost and wish I didn't have to go through all this. I don't want our kids to hate him and just want to coparent in a healthy way.
I feel he's the type "if I can't have you, no one will" I also grew up in foster care and have no family. We met when I was homeless at 16 and he was 26. We became close because I was ra**ed and he protected me after the fact.
Ugh guess I'm just venting and will probably delete.
He also says things like if you just have s** with me when I want I'll make your life less stressful.
I'm sorry if this triggers anyone and hope no one ever has to experience the same. 🥺💔😭

@@basicallyno1722 I see what you're saying and thank you for shedding some insight. But no offense, I still think she is lying. When someone asks you about a specific event that happened to you especially a traumatic one, you don't have to sit there and think about what happened. It seems like when she is asked a question, she is trying to think of something to say instead of trying to recount what actually happened, almostlike she is trying to piece together a story that she thinks people will believe. And what cord to a vacuum cleaner is long enough to tie someone around a bed to the point that they can't break free. I'm not saying that she is lying, but you can't just assume that everyone who gets on the witness stand is always telling the truth. And I'm not saying the husband didn't do what he did but something is off about this case.

@@MisterRlGHT Are you seriously debating a comment so obvious it couldn’t possibly be misunderstood. Correct I had to elaborate because you misunderstood my meaning. Either familial and relationship violence has increase ten fold or the government wasn’t in the relationship monitoring business a hundred years ago. Either way our court system is almost entirely set up to handle broken relationships. Everything from social work, ad-litem attorneys, juvenile courts and family courts. Other institutional systems like family law attorneys, domestic advocacy groups and child support enforcement all geared toward “ relationships gone wrong”. However as opposed to fixing, reversing or repairing problem families it appears the problems have increased exponentially. My assessment is true but the diagnosis is where the controversy begins. Anyways have a good day…

@@newworldgrover8588 Domestic violence hasn’t gone up tenfold like you say. The only reason more “relationships gone wrong” have ended up in court more frequent now than in the past is because woman are no longer seen as property to their husbands and forced to be stuck in situations like this. They’re seen as actual human beings. We also live in the digital age where everything is easily looked up, made national coverage ect which is why we see more coverage of such events.
