@@2ttez861 same cbr series were something different tbh if they made another series like cbr 2 or cbr and another letter and revived it then I'm good with buying stuff like that but the look and feel of the cbr series is just different so unless they revive and continue the cbr series I'm pretty disappointed aswell

@@marcomilo7566 Depends on what deal you can get of course, I have the MT-125 (2016), and I can only tell you good things about it. Sure you are gonna wish you could get a 600cc bike every time you drive on the highway but its a fun bike.

@@marcomilo7566 Comfort is important too I'd say... Test drive both if you can. I am quite tall, but unfortunately pretty much all 125ers are smaller models that hurt your back and knees after an hour or 2 in the sadle...

I LOVE my 2021 Honda 125 Monkey. Best 125cc Motorcycle ever produced. I can't ride it without smiling. The most fun you can have on two wheels. Best $4k you can spend on a 125cc.
@@nicolasmoral567 if u dont hit the rev limmiter you can slightly tight the throttle cable deliting the play it has and hitting bout 130km/h i personally hit 132 hitting the rev limmiter in my 2018 mt125
I am going out on Saturday to buy myself a new 2021 MT125. Can't wait to get it. I have a Chinese AJS TN12 which is over 2 years old, only done 1100 miles. I will play around with it and learn about stripping and rebuilding using it. I ended up going out and getting myself a brand new KTM DUKE 125 instead... Absolutely silky smooth beautiful bike. I might get myself the MT125 in a year or 2 too.

I've got the suzuki gxs s125 and I've had the kawasaki z125 and hond cb125f and gotta say suzuki s125 definitely the best hands down faster and lovely to ride had 80mph and the kawasaki had 73mph and honda barely got 70mph

Missed a trick guys , should have included the Zontes ZT125 U1. Had mine 4 weeks now , done 100 miles (partly due to weather) but it's brilliant...... and for £3100 on the road , amazing value. Bought it after viewing Mark Pulling's RUclips review - check that out. The finish is top rate , Bosch ABS and fueling , smooth gearbox and NO vibrations ! Keyless , I could go on. I live in Southampton and the local dealer is Dearden's at Holbury. Check them out and mention my name , speak to Julie or Nigel. Top 125 bike , just not really out there yet , although plenty sold apparently. Hope this helps.

One tip , get a few spare bateries for your key fobs , only £1 something from RS Components (the BR 1225 , not the CR1225). I keep one in my bike jacket just in case. They last about 6 months as they are emitting signal all the time. Hey ho.

It's over 35 years ago I drove my 125cc Yamaha RS. But allmost all 125cc bikes where 2-stroke and I didn't see a single 2-stroke here. Are not 2-strokes allowed anymore?
@@youraveragejoe1 Yes - I only have about 180 miles on it so far but I love it. I'm still in the break in phase so limited to about 7,500 RPMs - the bike has 15HP but I feel like I'm only using about 10 at the moment. Good luck with your CBR, you can't go wrong with Honda!
herald also has some awesome styling, i’ve got a brat 125 and most people have said it doesn’t look like one, it’s styled very well, sounds great and drives smoothly
If you want a good and very fast 125 the hyosung gtr 125 is a really good pick I had one before it got stolen 85 indicated top speed pulled well of line and very comfortable and with its v twin it was smooth and sounded insane
I own an 18 month old Sinnis terrain 125. It’s currently at the garage. It’s been there for 5 weeks now. It’s waiting for new rear wheel bearings. The original ones collapsed apparently, this sent the rear hub carrier into the left hand side of the swim arm, basically actually drilling into it. It’s also waiting for new chain and sprocket set. Guess what? Hardly any of these parts are in the country. The chain and sprocket is specific to the terrain so a generic one can’t be used. A two year warranty is useless if the parts are not in the country. DO NOT BUY!
Best 125 bike I ever had was the honda varadero 125...big bike with a v twin engine...I went around Europe on it and sold it in 2016 with 57 thousand miles on the clock...I bought it with 9 thousand on the clock...it never once let me down..
i have gsxs 125 and it’s a fantastic bike , apart the front wheel which has a 90 and not a 100 as like others, it’s very fast, can go to 85 mph, it’s very quick in turns because it’s the lowest between all of these, reccomended for sure

I have the older version of the mt 125 2017 I’m 182 cm and it’s comfortable for me I think you would also be very comfortable riding it I say go for it man !

@@BikeMatters I think it makes the most sense as it has more of an upright driving position compared to some of the bikes, and i honestly don't see the point in sacrificing comfort when they are only 125cc.

Any suggestion for a 187cm tall rider? I would love to get one of KTM Duke 125 or Yamaha MT 125 but I am afraid I am too tall for a comfortable driving. I want to get a new motorcycle not a used one.
All down to personal preference on the types of bikes you like, the use and budget. Some people are happy to keep low down on HP where others like to be closer to the A2 limit.

Bought the 2020 KTM in October and just done under 3k miles and tbh it's been a joy to ride.
