@@2ttez861 same cbr series were something different tbh if they made another series like cbr 2 or cbr and another letter and revived it then I'm good with buying stuff like that but the look and feel of the cbr series is just different so unless they revive and continue the cbr series I'm pretty disappointed aswell

Bought the 2020 KTM in October and just done under 3k miles and tbh it's been a joy to ride.
Just financed a 2021 duke and I cannot wait to get on that! Love them! They’re shit hot!

@@ossi3674 Gets to about 75 easily on a good day but I have done close to 80 before but you'll need to get into an agressive aero position
I’ve owned a 2014 duke since new and still got her now, 22,000 miles and still a joy, just paid another £4600 for a 2021/22 Duke 125 🤣

They’re all great beginners bikes. I have a Honda CB125R and it is fun to ride for a low capacity motorcycle 🏍
do you thjinmk as a 16yr old i should go for the cb125r (which seems to be the better option to me) or nthe mt125? i liked both but i was thinking of the honda

@@marcomilo7566 Depends on what deal you can get of course, I have the MT-125 (2016), and I can only tell you good things about it. Sure you are gonna wish you could get a 600cc bike every time you drive on the highway but its a fun bike.
@@stefbrouwer9153Ye i was thinking the same. The Honda is in my opinion much better looking but the mt seems higher quality. Once I’m going to be faced by two offers I’ll make my final chiice
@@marcomilo7566 Comfort is important too I'd say... Test drive both if you can. I am quite tall, but unfortunately pretty much all 125ers are smaller models that hurt your back and knees after an hour or 2 in the sadle...
bought the MT 125 (2020) last year. every day when i can drive i love it!

@@eneaazzola414 have the 2019 version, it a really cool bike, easy to ride, creative look, the only remarkable difference from the 2019 and 2021 is the hp’s, a cb-r with 15 hp is the perfect bike in my eyes
I am going out on Saturday to buy myself a new 2021 MT125. Can't wait to get it. I have a Chinese AJS TN12 which is over 2 years old, only done 1100 miles. I will play around with it and learn about stripping and rebuilding using it.
I ended up going out and getting myself a brand new KTM DUKE 125 instead... Absolutely silky smooth beautiful bike. I might get myself the MT125 in a year or 2 too.
Beginner riders are spoiled for choice! When my lad turns 17 in a couple of years, he may be just getting one of these!

@@user-lz2zh9uq7p I‘m about 1,83m and for me it’s Perfect. My dad is 1,90m and he says its a bit uncomfortable. When you‘re shorter than me it shouldn’t be a problem and when you a bit taller than me also

If you want a good and very fast 125 the hyosung gtr 125 is a really good pick I had one before it got stolen 85 indicated top speed pulled well of line and very comfortable and with its v twin it was smooth and sounded insane
i bought the mt 125 this weekend, in 2 days i will have it in my hands!!

@@nfissan incredible, it is so smooth and pretty fast to be an 125cc it reaches 126km/h (MT 125 2020) I’m so happy with such an awesome bike.

@@nicolasmoral567 if u dont hit the rev limmiter you can slightly tight the throttle cable deliting the play it has and hitting bout 130km/h i personally hit 132 hitting the rev limmiter in my 2018 mt125
herald also has some awesome styling, i’ve got a brat 125 and most people have said it doesn’t look like one, it’s styled very well, sounds great and drives smoothly

I LOVE my 2021 Honda 125 Monkey. Best 125cc Motorcycle ever produced. I can't ride it without smiling. The most fun you can have on two wheels. Best $4k you can spend on a 125cc.

Been trying to get the LXR 125 SE and standard for weeks and weeks, can’t get it anywhere, settled for a brand new Sym NHX 125, hoping it does the job
I've got the suzuki gxs s125 and I've had the kawasaki z125 and hond cb125f and gotta say suzuki s125 definitely the best hands down faster and lovely to ride had 80mph and the kawasaki had 73mph and honda barely got 70mph

I use a Kawasaki ninja 125 but I do like the top spot bike looks good
Missed a trick guys , should have included the Zontes ZT125 U1. Had mine 4 weeks now , done 100 miles (partly due to weather) but it's brilliant...... and for £3100 on the road , amazing value. Bought it after viewing Mark Pulling's RUclips review - check that out. The finish is top rate , Bosch ABS and fueling , smooth gearbox and NO vibrations ! Keyless , I could go on. I live in Southampton and the local dealer is Dearden's at Holbury. Check them out and mention my name , speak to Julie or Nigel. Top 125 bike , just not really out there yet , although plenty sold apparently. Hope this helps.

@@smokeyb7379 Well done Smokey , glad it was helpful. Now done 600 miles on mine and just as good as day one. Booking the first service/run-in oil change. Stay safe. One tip , get a few spare bateries for your key fobs , only £1 something from RS Components (the BR 1225 , not the CR1225). I keep one in my bike jacket just in case. They last about 6 months as they are emitting signal all the time. Hey ho.
@@paulcollings5424 Loving the bike so far. Bit of a weird riding position coming from a yzf, But it's all good. First thing i did was buy those bateries just in case. Loving how smooth the gear changes are too! Can't fault the bike so far.

@@BikeMatters I think it makes the most sense as it has more of an upright driving position compared to some of the bikes, and i honestly don't see the point in sacrificing comfort when they are only 125cc.
@@BikeMatters What chains and locks would you recommend, I've got 4 anchors already, its a bit wild where i live, if it's nailed down its fair game lol.

@@youraveragejoe1 Yes - I only have about 180 miles on it so far but I love it. I'm still in the break in phase so limited to about 7,500 RPMs - the bike has 15HP but I feel like I'm only using about 10 at the moment. Good luck with your CBR, you can't go wrong with Honda!

It's over 35 years ago I drove my 125cc Yamaha RS. But allmost all 125cc bikes where 2-stroke and I didn't see a single 2-stroke here. Are not 2-strokes allowed anymore?
i have gsxs 125 and it’s a fantastic bike , apart the front wheel which has a 90 and not a 100 as like others, it’s very fast, can go to 85 mph, it’s very quick in turns because it’s the lowest between all of these, reccomended for sure

@@RJHMotorbikeTraining Sorry past my part 1 and 2 in 1987 so I'm alright buddy 😆 It was just a general enquiry really and wondering about whether extensions to CBTs would be given riders similar to the MOTs in last lockdown. Hopefully business bounces back for you and I for the life of me can't see why motorcycle training couldn't have continued as surely the 2 metre rule etc would have been easy enough to apply in this scenario? Keep up the good work and still find many of your uploads highly informative and pertinent

Ive held a bike license for nearly 40 years and fancy another bike, can you buy a new unrestricted 125 in the uk?
I'm still hesitating between an xmax 125 tech max and a mt125. Because with the xmax I have so much more comfort and space. Can easily bring people. (I think it's better for the environment too). and I'll probably keep it for quite a while. But the only thing it doesn't have is the looks and the "fun" with a motorcycle and gears. Also If i get the mt125 ill only keep it for 2 years and then I'll switch to a bigger motorcycle because I'll be 18 therefore allowed to pass the exam etc... it's such a hard choice to make
Best 125 bike I ever had was the honda varadero 125...big bike with a v twin engine...I went around Europe on it and sold it in 2016 with 57 thousand miles on the clock...I bought it with 9 thousand on the clock...it never once let me down..
Still see some of these about going on, shame they aren't still being sold new.
