  • Today we finally take a drive in a bare-bones Mustang GT. This race-red 2013 Mustang is a perfect example of what it means to hop behind the wheel of a Ford Mustang. We'll talk about what this 5.0L Mustang is like to drive day-to-day, what a GT costs to own, and how it stacks up to it's newer siblings. The S197 is one of the best Mustangs to date, despite it's age. Enjoy my review of this 2013 Ford Mustang GT!

For all those saying, "please show me a 50K mi. '14 for $16K..." You are looking at one! This GT was purchased for $16k with 50K miles on the odometer. The car was purchased and the review was filmed before the pandemic had so aggressively raised the used car prices.

You said it best; better looking than 90% of the cars out there, plenty of mod'ing/repairing/upgrading parts for the S197 body (aesthetics, performance). I had a 2014 GT 6-speed that I traded in a few years ago, and just purchased a 2010 Shelby GT500 because I missed the body/nose so much.

Those 16 grand days are way long gone my dude. If you find any 5.0 with 50k on it for 16 grand, you just won the lottery. You might want to make a follow up video since it's been another year about what these cars are actually bringing. You can't buy that exact car now for under 20k. And with only 50k on it, I think it could go as high as 25 grand today.

@@tmwtpbrent14 I perceive the 15 and up as too plastic like an old Camaro.

I agree. The 05-09 rear was very retro and had a way better looking stance. Ford ruined that in 2010. I cannot see how anyone thinks the squish, girly looking rear end of this car looks great!
