The Samsung Galaxy Z series (named as Samsung Galaxy Foldables in certain territories) is a line of foldable smartphones manufactured by Samsung Electronics.
The Galaxy Fold, introduced on February 20, 2019, is Samsung Mobile's first folding smartphone. The device was released several months late, in September 2019 following issues causing the screen to fail.
On February 11, 2020, the brand unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip, the first smartphone under the name "Z", which has the particularity of folding lengthwise.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 succeeds the Galaxy Fold in September 2020.
