We put down our beloved dog 12 years ago and the vet tech told me about this. That night I watched the original video and was so grateful the tech had told me about it. Since then I have shared this with friends who have lost pets. I almost died in January and am battling cancer (I do have a great prognosis its a rare cancer that you treat and deal with people live 20 years with it regularly) and it comforted me to think if I died my beloved billy bob would be there waiting for me. Is it horrible to admit I looked forward to seeing him more than some family?

I lost my cat, Hermes, February of this year. He had breathing problems and the wheezing got too bad, so we took him to the vet, and in the car, he died in my arms. The heavy breathing just...stopped. I still remember when he'd wake me up, being my alarm clock, walking all over my head meowing at me so i'd never be late for school And he'd be there at the door when I came home, giving me a loud greeting and jumping into my arms like a dog when his owner comes home...I'd get lots of head rubs. RIP Hermes, I'll never forget you, little buddy.
The Rainbow Bridge. Dear Lord, there has to be one. Or at least a version of this beautiful place for all the pets we have loved, cared for and have been our "children". They do wait for us and upon our arrival, we are once again joined with them and our joy is undeniable. After all, Dear Lord, you had Noah build an ark so that all animals be saved and would Heaven be complete without animals ? Thank you Lord for "The Rainbow Bridge".
Matt Franklin I'm SO sorry for your loss, Matt--I'm sure Hooch was a very special doggie, just like my little Daisy was. It's only been two weeks since I had her put to sleep, and every time I watch this video, it gives me hope--that one day, I'll get to the Rainbow Bridge, and see her running towards me. God Bless.😔💒
It’s actually a very common experience to people who have an NDE no brain activity, legally dead...thousands of people who have come back, psychologists and scientists who study the phenomenon say, report being so surprised when wherever that place they go to is which they all say is so much more vivid than here and just obviously reality so much more real and authentic that although they forget what that place was or what our true form is or what it is we’re preparing for here, that is so just duh real that upon coming back here they laugh at just how low resolution and drably colored and fake this place is...but they report more often than not that birds sing there, people walked the fields and streets with dogs and had cats by the fireplace at home. Yea don’t know what my point is...but it’s good to know that NDE survivors by the droves say they were so ecstatic to learn that our hairy family members are right where we’re going to already. I think it may be psalms where it says Gods favorite thing to do is to just watch each spring as the babies emerge and frolic and play. Supposedly, animals are vessels of the souls which are already perfect.

I'd will to the sad, scared shelter dog the place that I had in my human's heart, which seemed boundless. So when I die, please do not say, "I will never have a dog again, for the loss and pain is more than I can stand. Instead, go find an unloved dog -- one whose life has held no joy or hope -- and give MY place to him. This is the only thing I can give -- the love I left behind.

You shall eventually open your heart again. God is mercyful and over time he eases your pain and you will move forward. It takes time. We only borrow our pets from the Lord to carry us through life. Each pet has a purpose when that purpose is furfilled they have to go home to God - but they will wait for us all and you will see them again. Amen x x
On November 18-2012 at 4:48pm my sweet Rozzie went to heaven it's been 5yrs and there is not a day that goes by that my heart still aches for her. For 18 yrs she loved me unconditional. She was more than just my pet she's my child. I loved her with all my heart. I have an emptiness in my life that can not be filled. My Rozzie has a very special place in my heart and the bond that we had will never be broken. I think about her ever day. Some days I just get in my car and just drive I know most cats don't like car rides but my Rozzie did we could drive for hours I swear her and I would just sing and sing to the radio. She would go on road trips with me we would go visit my parents when they lived in West Virginia and then go to Pennsylvania then we would make our trip back home to Michigan. But for some reason she always knew when we would go to the vet and that car ride well I'll just say she was very vocal about it. She passed away in my arms at home. The pain the shattered feeling I live with every day. But I know I will see her again until then Rozzie mama loves and misses you ever day of my life. Donna Sweet I truly understand, your bond with Rozzie . My baby polly passed away 2 yrs ago and I am still grieving. I had never had a pet before Polly but from the day I got her, till she passed her love for me and my family was unconditional. I miss her every day. I miss everything about her. Since her passing I can't stop thinking about all the animals out there with out a family to call their own, so I have decided to become a foster parent and care for these beautiful creatures, in honor of Polly. I truly believe Polly would have wanted this too

I had to let go of my German Shepherd Champ this past Saturday. The best friend that I have ever had, but I know as a Christian that i will see Champ again and we will Cross the Rainbow Bridge together to meet are Dear lord Jesus Christ. ⛪😇

+Susan Ashley Yes me to. I can see in my mind the place they all go to. When I lost my lovely Harriett my 12yr Westie I honestly wanted to die so that I could be with her. I have loved so many pets and they are never forgotten and I still have so much love in my heart for them that it hurts. What a amazing time for all us pet owner to be with our beloveds again, that is what I call heaven, sheer bliss.
I have always believed that when the day I pass, all my beloved cats will be waiting for me. I had no idea what the story of the Rainbow Bridge was, but now I understand and truly believe. Knowing they are frolicking and playing is much more relieving as I had to suffer through their pain. I will meet them on the other side!!
just 2 and half weeks ago i lost my sweet baby boy Benjamin a biscuit colored long haired chihuahua to CHF this was 3 weeks after we lost his brother Bobo to diabetes and kidney failure these 2 special dogs were very attached to to me Benji and Bobo my ex-wife they will be greatly missed and we will cherish the time that we got to spend with them words cannot express the joy and happiness they gave to us and they will be remembered for the rest of our lives, hope to see you and all my other pets i have had in my life the last 60 years when i get to the rainbow bridge
I just lost my best friend Fox a German Shepherd and Shiba inu mix today 8-21-21.I adopted him from the humane society when he was 1.5 /2 years old . So he lived to be about 17 years old. He was named Fox because he actually did look like a Fox with his big pointy ears. His favorite thing to do was to play ball with a soccer ball. He would have played 24/7 if allowed to. Sadly within the last 6 months, his hips began to deteriorate and eventually he was unable to walk anymore. So after leaving the vets office after seeing him off to his new journey, there was the most beautiful sunset I had seen in a long time. Upon seeing it, it gave me a sense of comfort as I pictured Fox “ crossing to the other side.” Now every time I see a sunset, I will be reminded of Fox as well as my other pets who have passed before him. I look forward to the day that we will all meet up again and shall live together for eternity. AMEN.
I had the same experience when my cherished Mother passed away. God loves us dearly. Make sure you are a born again Christian and you will see your beloved pet again in Heaven. :)
I can never watch this without crying because it always reminds me of my two fur babies that died. My dog, lady, was put down two years ago at the age of 12 while my guinea pig, mooncake died last November from being sick. The worst part is that i never got to say goodbye to either of them. I miss them both and cry every time I think of them not being with me, but I can at least remember
+RainbowFalcon8 I feel your pain RainbowFalcon. My Cat Baby was 19 when I had to put him to sleep. Probably the hardest thing in the world for me to do. I saw him go to sleep in my arms after they injected him, and I cried out very Loud in the room how much I loved him, and how I would never let go. I lost it, and was crying in his ear as he was drifting into eternal sleep. I knew he heard me, and He is with me right now. Thats was in 2011, and although it does get better, we will always have a Love for our lost pets that are always in our Hearts ♥ I send you my condolences, and a big Hug. Its not easy :(
My rabbit was called Leo. He died a week and a day ago. He had only just turned three. His brother is agitated and sad. He grooms rabbit teddies instead and lies with his head drooping on the ground. We miss you Leo.
Every day I miss my dog floppy. She was 14 years old when she passed. She laid down in the grass in out back yard in the bright sun and never woke up. I pray that one day we will be together forever and walk across the rainbow bridge hand in paw. I miss her every day. If you can read this floppy I love you and will be by your side when my time comes. ❤

Just put our dog down a few days ago was very tragic having to pick her body up to put her in the car where she was bought to her final resting place well at least she's not suffering no more and is in doggy heaven R.I.P Sandy miss you baby girl

Had my first family dog Addy from 2004-2020. I was born in November 2004 and she was born in August. We adopted her from a shelter and she looked at my mom with such emotion in her eyes saying "please take me home." And she did. The most beloved dog of my life, she saved me from falling down the stairs when I was a crawling baby. She was a farm dog and already knew how to sit when we got her so she must've been a runaway or stray. She was an australian shepherd/standard schnauzer mix and her herding instincts would end up in her zooming around the backyard and trying to herd me as a kid. Eventually she got old and deaf and her vision was starting to go. On her last day we knew it was too much for her to go on so we went and put her down. We were with her in her final moments and that's when I truly understood what people mean when you see the life leave in someone's eyes. It was so hard to look at her but I know she is in a better place now with her family and friends up there waiting for my family and I.

My dog Nico passed away just this past Wednesday July 24th. He was my best friend since 2008 when we first got him. A puppy at heart, old on the body. His last day, was the best day. I didn’t get to say goodbye, but my mother spoiled him so much, he was happy to be out at petsmart, playing with neighbors, having his little treats. I’m gonna be off to college soon, a new chapter. I know I’ll miss him everyday till my family and I are reunited with him again on rainbow bridge. I love you buddy❤️

My beautiful little puppy died two days ago after she hit the 2 month old mark, I miss her with all my heart even though it was only for 2 months we made a bond that I won't forget we made a dance and everything, her little ears would go back and her tail would wiggle after you wake up. We also lost our 13 years old cat in 2017, very unsad n heart 💔. But while i seeing this video, i really felt comfortable cause my beloved is now more enjoyed his life with food, warm weather, healthy and many of his friends playing together. I miss my lil man. He is my son and has been gone for 6 years but it seems just like yesterday I said goodbye as he was on the vets table looking up at me. I said goodbye and he was gone. I hated that he got so sick. I sometimes wish I would of never seen him die. But I am glad I was able to say I will ALWAYS love you and MISS you!
My lovely Iris passed away in my arms at vet 9.4.2014 at age of almost 15 (2 months and 1 day were missing). I always frightened the day she will go, but that last day I saw in her eyes Rainbow Bridge was calling her. It was the most bad and sad day in my life! Few days after she was gone I just suddenly at home felt her touching me, to my leg pushing, as she used to do just for love or for thanking something. All our beloved pets are waiting for us at Rainbow Bridge, that's for sure. I'm waiting to get there and reunite with Iris again. But first will enjoy this life, till the end. Today it is 5 months since she left, still crying now and then after her, and she is in my mind every day, in my heart till the end. Love her still!
My cat died today. I don’t know what to do with myself i just found myself here. He died so young of kidney failure. I just wish he’d lived more happy and healthy life i love him and i miss him so much already

As I understand, all life is pure love, which requires nothing in return, unconditional (except a little food and a pat once in awhile) and if people could love each other as our pets love us there would be no wars. If you've ever been touched by pure love you remember.Pets are pure love walking around and those of you that have felt that understand why we miss them soooo much when it's time for them to go. I have to put my dog Maggie to sleep tomorrow due to a severe Uti from having degenerative disk disease, she just turned four years old and I am absolutely devastated. This video made me feel a bit more comforted knowing that she will no longer be suffering from her illness. She is such a good dog and I cannot stand to see her not be able to play or walk anymore, it was all so sudden and I was out of town when my mother called me to tell me that she had her at the vet over the weekend and today it was decided that we are going to put her to sleep to end her pain and suffering after her bet appointment this afternoon. I love you Maggie, the whole family loves you.
Sorry for everybody's losses , I also had to put my cat miles down couple days ago and I really feel that a place like rainbow bridge must exist for loving souls to once again be reunited.
I was brought to these videos after having to put my beautiful baby girl to sleep yesterday. She turned 13 in June of this year. She started slowing down and having problems about 8 or 9 months. I took into my lap and I talked to her. I said for her to let me know when it was time to say goodbye. She let me know the time had come. It was the hardest thing I've had to do. Take comfort in your furbaby every day, spend some time with him every day. We can't have them forever..
This has made me feel better knowing that my baby is in a wonderful place with lots of friends to run around and play with. I still miss him so much though😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️

One day I will cross rainbow bridge with my man Murphy. Murph (the cat) died back in August and I'm finding it difficult to accept he's gone. I teared up when it said they miss someone they had to leave behind because I miss him too and I want him to know I miss him but it's not physically possible... Yea yea, I know I sound like that
That's the hardest part. You want them to know how much you miss them, and how much you loved them, but there's no way to know if they ever really understood. On the other hand....they loved you. And they showed it every minute of every day. The fact that they would literally die to protect you, without a moment's thought, tells me that somehow...they know.
I always say in my mind. It's been another day since I've seen you Pebs, but is another day closer to when I'll see you again. (My much loved cat Pebbles).
My beautiful little man zaccy my little dog died on Friday. This has made me feel so much better because every time I closed my eyes I saw him standing under a tree. Then I saw him walking. Then I found this. Unbeleivable but true.

I have been watching this video for years, it's the best telling of the Rainbow Bridge 🌈🐾 I have watched this to help me after every animal passing in the last 16 years. I watched this for the first time after my Snowy died, then Rocky, Zakk, Belle, my beloved Cookie, cute Kai and recently my sweet girl Sidney. I miss them all massively and think about them daily ❤ This has been a comfort every single time. Thank you x
Alli D She knows you miss her!! When I had to put down my first pet a beautiful Siamese named Jojo but we called him the goo because he had googlie silly eyes as Siamese often do... I was 5 years old when our goo came into our family I was 19 when my Dad had everything humanly possible to keep him.. my parents and us girls were not ready to say good bye.. he was placed into a oxygen tank to breath he sat up and groomed himself that he had not done for weeks perhaps a month .. when he was done he let out a Siamese meow now if you have not ever heard that well it’s loud and says a lot.. his was the one when your holding him and he had had enough petting stroking.. Dad and I knew .. then he looked at us laid down on the soft furry blanket from home his favorite and with his blind cateract eyes .. he stretched out both paws against the glass one to me and one to my Daddy. We put our hands on his paws he started purring and “ pawbering” the furry blanket that’s what our family calls it when cats do the paw petting you know , it’s the thing kitties do while nursing... anyway it was then we knew he was ready and we needed to respect that. He stayed alive as long as he could waiting for us to catch up to where he was... we finally got there all three of us together... it was hard saying goodbye the goo was and will always be the most special wonderful smart loving true cat from heaven we ever had... that night was hard Dad hugged me goodnight .. I went to bed .. I woke up at about 2 am and walked passed the family room to the bathroom we had a huge round hand carved coffee table .. and I looked right st it there sat my Goo as large as the table his head down all comfy looking as he looked up he made the “ megow” Siamese cry the I’m comfy don’t disturb me cry and his paws were tucked under him you know the typical kitty nap lay... and he lowered his head back down.. I stood there watching wondering if I was nuts .. but it was real all real minus the huge size he was.. which made sense because the little goo was so HUGE to my family... his love everything.. I felt so wonderful after this experience and it changed my life forevermore... this is the story of The Goo “ written by Theresa 1984

I lost my dog Fraiser 2 days,ago and my wife had a dream about us both visiting a place. We both arrived in a car and was met by a man who welcomed us and told us we was free to visit the village. In the dream I asked where the dogs were, to which he showed us the way to beautiful meadow full of animals playing. All our dogs who have passed were there, but we couldn't see Fraiser. Now at this time I unknown to my wife's dream was lay beside her awake shouting his name in my head looking for a sign. Back in the dream my wife said i screamed out his name, then from the other side Fraiser came sprinting towards us. He was so excited to see us and was showing off his full health and running around us and jumping up to us. I was clapping with joy at his happiness. My wife then woke up and told me her dream , I know we both connected and was given a gift from the Angel's to see out Fraiser one last time. Before this dream we knew nothing of the Meadow before the rainbow bridge. RIP Fraiser xxx you was my best friend ever and I will miss you so much xxx
I had a Boston terrier for 17 years. His name was scratchy. He got old and died. He was a very special dog. We all loved him. I guess I'm just missing him. R.I.P. scratchy. I miss you buddy.
That was so beautiful as it made me cry so hard I had to leave and cry some more before I could even type as I still cry and body shakes now. My wife and I in over 29 yrs of marriage have had to put down so many pets ( we prefer dogs) mostly shelter or dogs we have rescued off the street as our last one was. He always had so many health issues for all the 9 yrs we had him. It was one crisis after another. Yet of all the dogs we have had and we once had 6 at one time. Glad the city didn't know. He had the most personality of all of them. We have discovered the smaller the dog the bigger the heart and the bigger they think they are. He barely weighed 4 lbs when we got him off the street and only got to about 8 lbs until cancer bloated him so fast he weighed 10 lbs at death. All in 2 weeks. We just thought it was a normal health issue we just survive and go on. This time it wasn't. This time the crisis was bigger than his heart and body.. That is big as small dog owners know. He loved to guard our perimeter as I called it. So we buried him so his head is facing the perimeter of our yard. It was so beautiful Sunday. For 7 of his yrs with us it was only he and his sheltie sister. Jan went out in the yard and as the sheltie breed can look when sitting. She was sitting next to his grave facing the perimeter for him looking so REGAL as if saying, "I love you brother but I got this now!" Sadly, when Jan came in to tell me and get the phone to take the pix when we got back she had moved. I hope and have prayed she does it again so we can capture that moment forever! Besides our sheltie the other 2 are rescue dogs and too young to really know. Lil Bit Mom and I gave you our heart the moment we saw you and rescued you and every penny we spent we got so much more in return ovner the 9 yrs. Thank you Lil Bit and Thank you God for bringing him into our home for the time we got to enjoy and share our lives with him. Even though he was a Mommies Dog there were times you even let her know there were time reserved for just Daddy son time too! WE will always miss the big and esp the little things you used to do! My 2020 started horrible. My companion of 10 wonderful years grew old. He lost his eye sight and hearing. With that came organ failure. On February 1st I had to say my goodbyes. I just can't stop crying 😭😭😭 I'm struggling with anxiety and major depression. I miss my buddy so much. Crazy that a big hug a kiss and play with his nose and fluffy paws made me feel a hole lot better, And his gone. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I crumpled up and threw this poem at my vet & told him it was the third copy I'd been given...and I didn't want that stupid piece of paper. I wanted Turk. He's been gone since last January & this is the first time I've been able to read/listen/think about this poem. I've lost a year and a half of my life but a baby showed up on my doorstep 3months ago.She looks like him except for his eyes.I think I had an angel watching over me & he wanted me to live again. I've told this story 67 times as a vet tech... Yes I counted every memory of the owners in tears, loving such a beneficial creature on this earth.
We put down our beloved dog 12 years ago and the vet tech told me about this. That night I watched the original video and was so grateful the tech had told me about it. Since then I have shared this with friends who have lost pets. I almost died in January and am battling cancer (I do have a great prognosis its a rare cancer that you treat and deal with people live 20 years with it regularly) and it comforted me to think if I died my beloved billy bob would be there waiting for me. Is it horrible to admit I looked forward to seeing him more than some family?

He had breathing problems and the wheezing got too bad, so we took him to the vet, and in the car, he died in my arms. The heavy breathing just...stopped.
I still remember when he'd wake me up, being my alarm clock, walking all over my head meowing at me so i'd never be late for school
And he'd be there at the door when I came home, giving me a loud greeting and jumping into my arms like a dog when his owner comes home...I'd get lots of head rubs.

They do wait for us and upon our arrival, we are once again joined with them and our joy is undeniable. After all, Dear Lord, you had Noah build an ark so that all animals be saved and would Heaven be complete without animals ? Thank you Lord for "The Rainbow Bridge".

It’s actually a very common experience to people who have an NDE no brain activity, legally dead...thousands of people who have come back, psychologists and scientists who study the phenomenon say, report being so surprised when wherever that place they go to is which they all say is so much more vivid than here and just obviously reality so much more real and authentic that although they forget what that place was or what our true form is or what it is we’re preparing for here, that is so just duh real that upon coming back here they laugh at just how low resolution and drably colored and fake this place is...but they report more often than not that birds sing there, people walked the fields and streets with dogs and had cats by the fireplace at home. Yea don’t know what my point is...but it’s good to know that NDE survivors by the droves say they were so ecstatic to learn that our hairy family members are right where we’re going to already. I think it may be psalms where it says Gods favorite thing to do is to just watch each spring as the babies emerge and frolic and play. Supposedly, animals are vessels of the souls which are already perfect.

You shall eventually open your heart again. God is mercyful and over time he eases your pain and you will move forward. It takes time. We only borrow our pets from the Lord to carry us through life. Each pet has a purpose when that purpose is furfilled they have to go home to God - but they will wait for us all and you will see them again. Amen x x

On November 18-2012 at 4:48pm my sweet Rozzie went to heaven it's been 5yrs and there is not a day that goes by that my heart still aches for her. For 18 yrs she loved me unconditional. She was more than just my pet she's my child. I loved her with all my heart. I have an emptiness in my life that can not be filled. My Rozzie has a very special place in my heart and the bond that we had will never be broken. I think about her ever day. Some days I just get in my car and just drive I know most cats don't like car rides but my Rozzie did we could drive for hours I swear her and I would just sing and sing to the radio. She would go on road trips with me we would go visit my parents when they lived in West Virginia and then go to Pennsylvania then we would make our trip back home to Michigan. But for some reason she always knew when we would go to the vet and that car ride well I'll just say she was very vocal about it. She passed away in my arms at home. The pain the shattered feeling I live with every day. But I know I will see her again until then Rozzie mama loves and misses you ever day of my life. I had never had a pet before Polly but from the day I got her, till she passed her love for me and my family was unconditional. I miss her every day. I miss everything about her. Since her passing I can't stop thinking about all the animals out there with out a family to call their own, so I have decided to become a foster parent and care for these beautiful creatures, in honor of Polly. I have always believed that when the day I pass, all my beloved cats will be waiting for me. I had no idea what the story of the Rainbow Bridge was, but now I understand and truly believe. I just lost my best friend Fox a German Shepherd and Shiba inu mix today 8-21-21.I adopted him from the humane society when he was 1.5 /2 years old . So he lived to be about 17 years old. He was named Fox because he actually did look like a Fox with his big pointy ears. His favorite thing to do was to play ball with a soccer ball. He would have played 24/7 if allowed to. Sadly within the last 6 months, his hips began to deteriorate and eventually he was unable to walk anymore. So after leaving the vets office after seeing him off to his new journey, there was the most beautiful sunset I had seen in a long time. Upon seeing it, it gave me a sense of comfort as I pictured Fox “ crossing to the other side.” Now every time I see a sunset, I will be reminded of Fox as well as my other pets who have passed before him. I look forward to the day that we will all meet up again and shall live together for eternity. AMEN.

I lost it, and was crying in his ear as he was drifting into eternal sleep. I knew he heard me, and He is with me right now. Had my first family dog Addy from 2004-2020. I was born in November 2004 and she was born in August. We adopted her from a shelter and she looked at my mom with such emotion in her eyes saying "please take me home." And she did. The most beloved dog of my life, she saved me from falling down the stairs when I was a crawling baby. She was a farm dog and already knew how to sit when we got her so she must've been a runaway or stray. She was an australian shepherd/standard schnauzer mix and her herding instincts would end up in her zooming around the backyard and trying to herd me as a kid. Eventually she got old and deaf and her vision was starting to go. On her last day we knew it was too much for her to go on so we went and put her down. We were with her in her final moments and that's when I truly understood what people mean when you see the life leave in someone's eyes. It was so hard to look at her but I know she is in a better place now with her family and friends up there waiting for my family and I.

My dog Nico passed away just this past Wednesday July 24th. He was my best friend since 2008 when we first got him. A puppy at heart, old on the body. His last day, was the best day. I didn’t get to say goodbye, but my mother spoiled him so much, he was happy to be out at petsmart, playing with neighbors, having his little treats. I’m gonna be off to college soon, a new chapter. I know I’ll miss him everyday till my family and I are reunited with him again on rainbow bridge. I love you buddy❤️

My lovely Iris passed away in my arms at vet 9.4.2014 at age of almost 15 (2 months and 1 day were missing). I always frightened the day she will go, but that last day I saw in her eyes Rainbow Bridge was calling her. It was the most bad and sad day in my life! Few days after she was gone I just suddenly at home felt her touching me, to my leg pushing, as she used to do just for love or for thanking something. All our beloved pets are waiting for us at Rainbow Bridge, that's for sure. I'm waiting to get there and reunite with Iris again. But first will enjoy this life, till the end. Today it is 5 months since she left, still crying now and then after her, and she is in my mind every day, in my heart till the end. Love her still!

I have to put my dog Maggie to sleep tomorrow due to a severe Uti from having degenerative disk disease, she just turned four years old and I am absolutely devastated. This video made me feel a bit more comforted knowing that she will no longer be suffering from her illness. She is such a good dog and I cannot stand to see her not be able to play or walk anymore, it was all so sudden and I was out of town when my mother called me to tell me that she had her at the vet over the weekend and today it was decided that we are going to put her to sleep to end her pain and suffering after her bet appointment this afternoon. I love you Maggie, the whole family loves you.
Sorry for everybody's losses , I also had to put my cat miles down couple days ago and I really feel that a place like rainbow bridge must exist for loving souls to once again be reunited.
I was brought to these videos after having to put my beautiful baby girl to sleep yesterday. She turned 13 in June of this year. She started slowing down and having problems about 8 or 9 months. I took into my lap and I talked to her. I said for her to let me know when it was time to say goodbye. She let me know the time had come. It was the hardest thing I've had to do. Take comfort in your furbaby every day, spend some time with him every day. We can't have them forever..
This has made me feel better knowing that my baby is in a wonderful place with lots of friends to run around and play with. I still miss him so much though😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️
I had a vivid dream. I have been there. Exactly as described. I saw my brother reunited with his puppy shortly after his passing. Beautiful green pastures with blue skies and flowers and peace💜
One day I will cross rainbow bridge with my man Murphy. Murph (the cat) died back in August and I'm finding it difficult to accept he's gone. I teared up when it said they miss someone they had to leave behind because I miss him too and I want him to know I miss him but it's not physically possible... Yea yea, I know I sound like that
That's the hardest part. You want them to know how much you miss them, and how much you loved them, but there's no way to know if they ever really understood.
On the other hand....they loved you. And they showed it every minute of every day. The fact that they would literally die to protect you, without a moment's thought, tells me that somehow...they know.
I always say in my mind. It's been another day since I've seen you Pebs, but is another day closer to when I'll see you again. (My much loved cat Pebbles).

My beautiful little man zaccy my little dog died on Friday. This has made me feel so much better because every time I closed my eyes I saw him standing under a tree. Then I saw him walking. Then I found this. Unbeleivable but true.

I have been watching this video for years, it's the best telling of the Rainbow Bridge 🌈🐾 I have watched this to help me after every animal passing in the last 16 years. I watched this for the first time after my Snowy died, then Rocky, Zakk, Belle, my beloved Cookie, cute Kai and recently my sweet girl Sidney. I miss them all massively and think about them daily ❤

Alli D She knows you miss her!! When I had to put down my first pet a beautiful Siamese named Jojo but we called him the goo because he had googlie silly eyes as Siamese often do... I was 5 years old when our goo came into our family I was 19 when my Dad had everything humanly possible to keep him.. my parents and us girls were not ready to say good bye.. he was placed into a oxygen tank to breath he sat up and groomed himself that he had not done for weeks perhaps a month .. when he was done he let out a Siamese meow now if you have not ever heard that well it’s loud and says a lot.. his was the one when your holding him and he had had enough petting stroking.. Dad and I knew .. then he looked at us laid down on the soft furry blanket from home his favorite and with his blind cateract eyes .. he stretched out both paws against the glass one to me and one to my Daddy. We put our hands on his paws he started purring and “ pawbering” the furry blanket that’s what our family calls it when cats do the paw petting you know , it’s the thing kitties do while nursing... anyway it was then we knew he was ready and we needed to respect that. He stayed alive as long as he could waiting for us to catch up to where he was... we finally got there all three of us together... it was hard saying goodbye the goo was and will always be the most special wonderful smart loving true cat from heaven we ever had... that night was hard Dad hugged me goodnight .. I went to bed .. I woke up at about 2 am and walked passed the family room to the bathroom we had a huge round hand carved coffee table .. and I looked right st it there sat my Goo as large as the table his head down all comfy looking as he looked up he made the “ megow” Siamese cry the I’m comfy don’t disturb me cry and his paws were tucked under him you know the typical kitty nap lay... and he lowered his head back down.. I stood there watching wondering if I was nuts .. but it was real all real minus the huge size he was.. which made sense because the little goo was so HUGE to my family... his love everything.. I felt so wonderful after this experience and it changed my life forevermore... this is the story of The Goo “ written by Theresa 1984

I just lost my Bolo. My best friend an amazing dog, he got so sick and aged up dramatically after being an eternal puppy for 12 years.

I lost my dog Fraiser 2 days,ago and my wife had a dream about us both visiting a place. We both arrived in a car and was met by a man who welcomed us and told us we was free to visit the village. In the dream I asked where the dogs were, to which he showed us the way to beautiful meadow full of animals playing. All our dogs who have passed were there, but we couldn't see Fraiser. Now at this time I unknown to my wife's dream was lay beside her awake shouting his name in my head looking for a sign. Back in the dream my wife said i screamed out his name, then from the other side Fraiser came sprinting towards us. He was so excited to see us and was showing off his full health and running around us and jumping up to us. I was clapping with joy at his happiness.
My wife then woke up and told me her dream , I know we both connected and was given a gift from the Angel's to see out Fraiser one last time.
Before this dream we knew nothing of the Meadow before the rainbow bridge.
RIP Fraiser xxx you was my best friend ever and I will miss you so much xxx

I had a Boston terrier for 17 years. His name was scratchy. He got old and died. He was a very special dog. We all loved him. I guess I'm just missing him. R.I.P. scratchy. I miss you buddy.
That was so beautiful as it made me cry so hard I had to leave and cry some more before I could even type as I still cry and body shakes now. My wife and I in over 29 yrs of marriage have had to put down so many pets ( we prefer dogs) mostly shelter or dogs we have rescued off the street as our last one was. He always had so many health issues for all the 9 yrs we had him. It was one crisis after another. Yet of all the dogs we have had and we once had 6 at one time. Glad the city didn't know. He had the most personality of all of them. We have discovered the smaller the dog the bigger the heart and the bigger they think they are. He barely weighed 4 lbs when we got him off the street and only got to about 8 lbs until cancer bloated him so fast he weighed 10 lbs at death. All in 2 weeks. We just thought it was a normal health issue we just survive and go on. This time it wasn't. This time the crisis was bigger than his heart and body.. That is big as small dog owners know. He loved to guard our perimeter as I called it. So we buried him so his head is facing the perimeter of our yard. It was so beautiful Sunday. For 7 of his yrs with us it was only he and his sheltie sister. Jan went out in the yard and as the sheltie breed can look when sitting. She was sitting next to his grave facing the perimeter for him looking so REGAL as if saying, "I love you brother but I got this now!" Sadly, when Jan came in to tell me and get the phone to take the pix when we got back she had moved. I hope and have prayed she does it again so we can capture that moment forever! Besides our sheltie the other 2 are rescue dogs and too young to really know.
Lil Bit Mom and I gave you our heart the moment we saw you and rescued you and every penny we spent we got so much more in return ovner the 9 yrs. Thank you Lil Bit and Thank you God for bringing him into our home for the time we got to enjoy and share our lives with him.
Even though he was a Mommies Dog there were times you even let her know there were time reserved for just Daddy son time too!
WE will always miss the big and esp the little things you used to do!
We will see you at the Rainbow Bridge! With the rest of our numerous herd of dogs we have loved and cared for all these yrs. I hope you are enjoying sharing tales among yourselves until we get there too!

My 2020 started horrible. My companion of 10 wonderful years grew old. He lost his eye sight and hearing. With that came organ failure. On February 1st I had to say my goodbyes. I just can't stop crying 😭😭😭 I'm struggling with anxiety and major depression. I miss my buddy so much. Crazy that a big hug a kiss and play with his nose and fluffy paws made me feel a hole lot better, And his gone. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I went through this 11 years ago with my beloved Humphrey and on Friday I have to go through it again with my beautiful girl Oreo. It's a beautiful tribute but so hard to deal with.
I crumpled up and threw this poem at my vet & told him it was the third copy I'd been given...and I didn't want that stupid piece of paper. I wanted Turk. He's been gone since last January & this is the first time I've been able to read/listen/think about this poem. I've lost a year and a half of my life but a baby showed up on my doorstep 3months ago.She looks like him except for his eyes.I think I had an angel watching over me & he wanted me to live again. Thanks for this lovely video.
My basset hound of 11 and a half years had to be put to sleep this morning. She was in a lot of pain, she had cancer. I know she's in a better place, but I still miss her and always will.
