- Hey guys! This is the full tutorial on how to make a realistic looking Desert Eagle .50AE Prop with Blowback mechanism!
Its main material is 4mm plywood so you won't need any powertools except for a drill :)
Of course I couldn't make it 100% realistic but I think it comes pretty close to the original.

you could easily make a (navy luger) much the same as the one you've already made;but with a very long barrel ,nice piece of kit
Great vid. The only thing to make it better and it's just my personal preference is talking. I just prefer vids that are spoken through the build, even if dubbed over afterwards

You may of seen my earlier comment (don't know what happened to it) but I was wondering what makes the slide go back? I understand the movement forward but i cant find out how it goes backwards. Thanks and great work!
Cant find your earlier comment :/ The trigger pushes the latch back and with it the slide. Because the latch is attached to an axis and does not move straight back, there is a point where the latch doesnt push the slide anymore and the slide goes back because of the rubberband. Hope this did help you! :)
