First of all thanks for sharing the diagrams for free and even making a tutorial how to assamble the whole gun !!! I have made this one and even add a fire mode selector for semi/Full-automatic .
hey parabellum! ive just finished building this gun, and it is amazing! great job on the instructions! only one slight problem: whenever the releaser is pushed and another rubber band should release from the spindle, the spindle goes crazy and lets all of thwm out at once, turning this smg into a compact shotgun! is there anything i can do to fix this?
There could be a number of things causing it. It's quite to diagnose without being able to see it myself. However its most likely the releaser being the wrong shape. check that when the spindle pushes back on the releaser that the releaser is actually catching the rotor and stopping it from spinning. If it isn't, try adding some material to that part of the releaser.
Hello, at first I want to say thank you for the great video. second my english is bad ^^. So my question is, the brown thing (nutwood), which is glued on the moving part. Can I change it with a wooden pin like on the mat49 ?
Yes. Removing the magazine allows the action to be locked open for loading and inserting it unlocks it but that can be done with a manual latch instead.
I have observed as you suggested and I can see that the rotor and releaser may be the problem , do they have to run freely mine tend to stick do you think that might be the problem
Hi. I'm building this thing, but I'm just thinking why "Rotor" and "releaser" are made out of plastic? Can i use wood? (It's lots easier to find) Thanks :)
They are plastic because they need to be very strong. From your name, I am guessing you're Finnish. If that's the case, you'll be able to find birch plywood pretty easily which will be very strong. Cheap pine plywood might wear out quickly.
Varnishing should always be the last step. Varnished wood won't stick very well. I glued that one part after varnishing because I wanted the side plate to be as smooth as possible but I used used screws and a special type of glue to hold it.
It's pretty hard for me to troubleshoot remotely. If the rotor is not moving at all, you may need to file the vertical part of the uppermost corner that engages the rotor. File it away gradually until the rotor can slip past it and catch on the lowermost corner.
before you challenge others, preferably you need to prove yourself first. And please try not to use word"I dare you" especially when you asking someone to do something for you, it is so lame and provoked. And I know your real intention behind your words
He isnt asking him to do it for him. He legitimately just said " i dare you to try and make a shell ejecting blow back desert eagle. You must be blind to think that he want's it done for himself. Also you don't need to prove yourself to say " i dare you"
Maybe one day you go to Patty's Land South Carolina if you see my face is can you please come to the house and let's play a rubber band gun match I call dibs on one of them that grenade launcher one the one with the grenade launcher from half-life okay
Surprisingly unprofitable. They would take too long to produce and the cost wouldn't be justifiable for the average consumer. Support him by buying plans, though! Super easy to make!
A more profitable middle ground would be skipping the cutting part by selling CNC or laser cut kits, ready to assemble. I mean, ordering ONE set cut is too expensive, but ordering a whole batch becomes much cheaper per set, allowing them to be sold at an actual profit.
I'm beginner in wood gun making and I'm grateful someone is making tutorials with actuall blueprints
I just love watching the mechanism on this, it's just so cool. The finish on all the wood is fantastic as well.

parabellum1262 and rbguns need to have a giant rubber band gun war. OF EPIC PORPORTOINS.
Christian Hunt
you're very creative parabellum
that is a smooth device there friend
this is a kriss vector, aug carbine hybrid. love it! i am sure to make one!

parabellum1262 thanks, ill try that!
parabellum1262 wat spindle
Beautiful build.
May I ask what tools you used or would recommend in order to build this?
5:50 original opinel knife from france? Got that exact one too :D
cool!! what a nice gun!
will these b able for buying one off of a website?
Someone should make 3D models of the parts so you can 3D print it. It might not be as cheap, but it would be a hell of a lot easier.
Amazing project....!
I would like you to make plans for a harpoon to fish and a crossbow to hunt...
HI AGAIN WOULD IT MATTER IF I USED HARDWOOD INSTEAD OF PLASTIC FOR THE
ROTOR AND THE OTHER THING
Probably not, but I can't guarantee it.
Lol
HI WOULD IT MATTER IF I USED 7 INSTEAD OF 6mm PLY
7mm is fine.
Hello, at first I want to say thank you for the great video. second my english is bad ^^. So my question is, the brown thing (nutwood), which is glued on the moving part. Can I change it with a wooden pin like on the mat49 ?
Yes, you can. Instead of cutting the bolt (pale wood) away for the brown thing, drill a hole for the pin instead.
parabellum1262 Thank you, greetings from germany :)
Simple but effective, can this mechanism works without magazine ?
Yes. Removing the magazine allows the action to be locked open for loading and inserting it unlocks it but that can be done with a manual latch instead.
@@parabellum_arms can it be done by manually pull back the bolt ?
@@fadlirobbia9000 Not really. Pulling the bolt back usually causes the action to slip and load too many shots.
@@parabellum_arms ok thank you
Can I use this mechanism to replicate the MAT-49 ?
Do you think to make a tutorial for MAT-49 in the future ?
Thanks
I won't be making a tutorial for the MAT-49, but this gun uses the exact same mechanism so you can replicate it yourself.
Thanks. I hope to make it.
I have observed as you suggested and I can see that the rotor and releaser may be the problem , do they have to run freely mine tend to stick do you think that might be the problem
That sounds likely. When the lever presses onto the releaser, it should allow the rotor to release one rubber band onto the lever.
Hello, Parabellum! Can i make parts from A2 to part A9 as one part if i can?
Yes, you can.
Thank you and good luck!
Hi finished the gun looks really good BUT I cannot get the thing to fire what have I done wrong
I can't help unless it's specific. Try to observe and then describe what specific parts are doing.
what is the diameter of drill bits for the parts are they all 3 mm
Can I add a stock to it ?
Is there somewhere I can get the grip peices?

parabellum1262 yes he is from finland :) and i'm too. And birch plywood is pretty easy to get in Finland.
or kwa kriss vector maybe?
nice gun!!
Красава мужик!!
what is better , first glue parts and then varnish (finish) or first finish with varnish end then glue..?
Varnishing should always be the last step. Varnished wood won't stick very well. I glued that one part after varnishing because I wanted the side plate to be as smooth as possible but I used used screws and a special type of glue to hold it.
okay , i first glue then varnish , i hope be smooth and clear.
I subbed and liked the vid
can i just use 1 kind of wood???
I own a 3d printer, I was just wondering if you can give me a tip if you can make the pdf files into 3d stl files
TheUnHumanZone Theres no way to do that without modelling them yourself
Ok so we’re just going to ignore the swastica at 5:36
can i make it with cardboard
all size of drill and screw ? can u tell me bro
Does it matter what type of wood you have?
No, just make sure the parts made of hardwood are made of something tough.
And what to do to a jam or misfire
can i make an order of this gun
Well done ikea gun.
My grandfather asked if we are allowed to sell
HI THATS FOR THE SIDE PLATES
Please make event. I don't have tools but I want SMG pistol.
You are amazing.
Cool toys..
Wow
We are having problems with the plastic parts and the c1
The problem is that the rotor is not spinning due to the releaser
It's pretty hard for me to troubleshoot remotely. If the rotor is not moving at all, you may need to file the vertical part of the uppermost corner that engages the rotor. File it away gradually until the rotor can slip past it and catch on the lowermost corner.
parabellum1262 ok thanks
very nice thank you
Masyaa Alloh. Amazing
is there a website where I can buy this?
Hey, where did you get your spacers and how big are they? Thanks.
I cut 3mm long segments from 5mm aluminium pop rivets.
Thanks a lot. I'm thinking of making this, it looks really good! It's great that you provide free templates!
I dont know why, but music reminds me of Anesthesia :v
Thanks😍
it can be made from cardboard???
i am gonna do one
you just wait for the answer from me when it done
can i change pine for hard wood ?
have a problem to works or ?
Probably. I used hardwood because I have plenty of it and certain parts should be stronger, but pine should still be okay for them.
i ask my q wrong sorry , i meen i want no use pine , use only hardwood for every part ? i dont like pine its to light
Sure, that's fine! I mainly use pine because it's easier to shape.
parabellum1262 thanks :)) i try with hard and send u picture when i done
Thanks! Always appreciated.
Thanks
Parabéns
I love you so very, very much right now
I dare you to try and make a shell ejecting blow back desert eagle

Did you make these by your self or other people made the templates?
nice!!
You rule
can you send a link of the plans
There are two in the video description.
Ok thanks
Can u send me this rubberband gun for free please?
nice
oasom
I subbed
Thanks!

Jajajja
I thought it was a kriss vector
Why do you need wire
Please tell me where can we find the template for the gun? Thanks
If you watched just 18 seconds of this video, you wouldn't have to ask.
What happened to the plans for this. Both the links are not working. Thanks. = )

yo should get a patreon account so we can donate money and youcolu get a high speed camer
i agree. this parabellum fellow is a fool for not getting a patreon.

request for p90 please
p90 model is quite hard to make.
i think so :u
Make more guns
Sell it on amazon
you have any idea how expensive that would be? he would have to put a lot of time and effort into creating these.
Surprisingly unprofitable. They would take too long to produce and the cost wouldn't be justifiable for the average consumer. Support him by buying plans, though! Super easy to make!

It's hideous. Can I have it?
what is size of c1 and c2 metal stick ? (nails) , can u help
and its need glue on the center or no ?
They should be about 30mm long and 2.8mm thick. If you use a 2.8mm bit to drill the holes, they will be tight and you won't need glue.
parabellum1262 okay , thanks , and last Q are u glue rottor on nail?
Again, the rotor should fit tightly but you can glue it if not.
hole on the ply wood same 2.8 bit. how rotated?
nice
Can u do this on cardboard
