Fortnite still needs to realize that we don't want the game to be realistic. We like the cartoony graphics more because the realistic graphics make Fortnite not look like Fortnite (and lose its identity)
I like Chapter 1 or 2's textures with the modern lighting of the new engine. Looks so pretty, and hits the prefect balance. Though I thought Chapter 3 and 4 were really nice looking in their own way too.
What made Fortnite, Fortnite. Was its originality and cartoony feel. We’ve had collab item after collab item non stop. We need a break from these, a long one. What we also need are chapter 4/1 or 2 graphics. Edit: and the last thing, its story. It’s amazing events where you could see things change IN THE REAL WORLD! For the sake of the story, We used to have cinematic *story* trailers every season!

I keep looking down the comments and seeing people complaining about Fortnite's art style change, or how it's less cartoonish, to which I say this game, while it may LOOK more realistic than it did, still has some of the wackiest set pieces imaginable, with weird items and even goofier collabs/outfits. You can still build monoliths out of a few bits of wood, you still get some pretty wacky weapons, as much as they've been toned down, you still get a shield barrier from chugging entire jars of radioactive soda, and the locations and characters are still pretty ridiculous. The game still has plenty of soul, and I feel like this is just a result of people outgrowing the game or having nostalgia for older seasons
i like how there starting to add more environmental movement mechanics however, there is one mechanic that has been overlooked by epic and has never been acknowledged by epic, but has always been a feature in stw: ADS while airborne.

If next season is based Off Japanese mythology and culture, the anime collab, if there is one, is probably gonna be Demon Slayer since it’s reaching its conclusion with a trilogy of movies in 2025. Also, the free juicewrld skin is gonna be the animated one from One of his music videos, which is based off Demon Slayer. That’s my theory of when demon slayer could come to fortnite.
Agile Mending could be that you walk faster while healing with Medkits, Big Pots, etc (whether faster than walk speed or just walk speed, you have to admit you walk slower when healing) HealthyPounce may be that jumping/phase jumping with the Kinetic Blade will reward a small amount of health/heal up to a threshold (definitely nothing big if normal jumping, because even if we have jumping fatigue, I know I'd be pissed if I cracked a sweat and then after he smacked around some metal builds and spammed the jump key he was back to 75 HP from what was gonna be one shot 😂) Edit: Opinions on how they would "appropriate" Nami? I can only imagine they would include her, since bigger crossovers try to hit a gender ratio instead of just one side. Do you think she'd have an earlier design, or do you think they'll just modify one of her more modern fits?

I hope we get more anime collabs for Ch6 S1 since it's themed around more traditional Japanese culture. I think a Demon Slayer collab would work really well in that setting.
I’ve got a theory for where the story is going: since Hope said Pandora’s box is part of something bigger and chapter 6 is Japanese mythology, what if the next few chapters are all based on different mythologies that are all connected somehow? So for example if this is true, chapter 7 could be themed around Egyptian mythology and chapter 8 could be Norse mythology
Keeping Medallions and adding Augments on top is perfect, I hope they rework augments to not be as random, maybe they are random but you can go to certain augmentstations (funny name I know) That spawn with pre-defined augments on them, like how vending machines have guns. Maybe you check one and you can trade your new avaiable random augment for either Storm Mark, Mechanical Archer or On The Go Bag for example. That would decrease the rng factor of them, and imo that's what people don't like about the augment system is that there are clear insane ones but they're always locked behind farming gold or having god RNG. Either way, I really like augments and have been waiting for them to return for a long time so a welcome change for sure! Great vid Caspy

With Hopes art envisioning The Agency applied to the Big Screen, the Rift Beacon targeted the screen, and opened the rift to an altered Reality from 5 years ago. That is how we got here. But I will say, the Nothing is not entirely out of the question. If Hope’s Art saw the Nothing, they cannot be far.
Im gonna say it before it’s too late. My prediction is that Epic is secretly gonna give us a surprise and we are going back to chapter3 but with a twist. Maybe new locations? Biomes? It would be fracture all over again and Chapter4 map rebuilt, going back to chapter1 again, then big bang live event takes us back to chapter 5, then Chapter 2 remix again, and we would be in a continuous loop unless if the people in the story try to somehow break it

Why do people think Chapter 2 RMX makes no sense? Did everyone just forget that the Fortnite world is a multiverse? If we can go to a Legoland, several race tracks, and a stage, we can go to other maps.
That's not really the case, story wise it doesn't make any sense at ALL. Battle Royale has a story (barely making sense nowadays but at least there was a coherent explaination to how br works with mustard LOL) which doesn't allow the island to randomly switch from Chapter 5 to Chapter 2 Remix, it has to make some sort of sense at least. Similar to how we got from Chapter 4 to OG, Jones was on the CH4 Island and Slone, which was in chapter 4 and no longer was a bad guy, told him to go back in time before The Seven black hole'd Reality Zero to save Reality Zero from its doom, because in Chapter 4 the Zero Point was in a petrified state due to The Fracture taking a lot of its energy, and all reality was gonna fall on itself and stuff unless he did something which, y'know, Big Bang and all. It might've been an ad but at least it had SOME lore. Whilst with Chapter 5 to Remix, it's the Restored Reels graffitis apparently coming to life?? And then suddenly rappers?? It doesn't make any sense at all, but it'll either be explained in chapter 6 with story quests, some other media, or never brought up again and Hope just has half assed reality changing graffitis powers. If you don't know what Reality Zero is, its where the loop takes place in (the 24 minute matches), its in a bubble (look at chapter 3 season 1 flipped trailer) which traps people in there with the storm and if they win they're free to live on the island (cant escape so theyre stuck), but a copy of them is created that stays in the loop called a snapshot (how we get skins of not looped characters). In ch1 zero point black hole'd and we got ch2 because the zero point regenerated its energy and created a new island and loop from whatever was left from ch1 and using its new energy, then the island flipped and we got ch3 which had some pois from ch1 which just basically is what i said, ch3 island fractured due to chrome and the zero point rifted in random shit from different realities to form chapter 4, we went back in time to ch1OG to not let the zero point black hole, it big banged, and boom chapter 5.

In overwatch there is the Shimadas, genji and hanzo who are based around japanese mythology, both being ninjas, and then raiden who is also a "ninja" who has studied the ways of the samurai and their style of combat. genji and mgr raiden I have wanted in the game for so long, hoping it happens.

Fortnites story is so messy and uncooked. How tf does Hope predict the future with her drawings? Shes literally just the ultimate plot device. Worst protagonist ever. Chapter 6 sounds like its just going to be Chapter 5 part 2. PLEASE get rid of her and everything from Chapter 5. Dont they see how the OG seasons are popping off? Because people want simplicity and a good map. This month long season was better than all of Chapter 5 and its not even the OG map. Epic should be taking notice of this.

this could be a good season to add an overwatch collab or mgr raiden to the game. In overwatch there is the Shimadas, genji and hanzo who are based around japanese mythology, both being ninjas, and then raiden who is also a "ninja" who has studied the ways of the samurai and their style of combat. genji and mgr raiden I have wanted in the game for so long, hoping it happens.
