It actually Feels like the Actual Chapter 2 map, sure there's a few slight changes to the map mostly the whole Icon music artists being on the map but other than that, it feels so nostalgic coming back to chapter 2! Fully started playing Fortnite during this chapter in season 4 right when star industries was about to arrive! Mostly cause I was focusing on school back then but started fully playing the game after I finished school!

Now a year ago I would be pretty upset about the storyline inconsistency but the storyline just isn’t the best anymore in my opinion and a large portion of the player base, and epic games themselves, don’t really care about it anymore. Despite a lackluster explanation for how we got here, At the end of the day this season is awesome and much needed breath of fresh air after chapter 5. Plus after the transition from OG To chapter 5 being a huge ad for the metaverse, I lost hope in the storyline a year ago.

Hitscan feels so much better in normal battle Royale rather than only Reload, because the gameplay is so fast in reload, you don’t get to enjoy the feeling of the weapons.
I agree 100% this is the most fun ive had in fortnite since og last yr. I started out in chapter 2 so this is very nostalgic for me. Its one of my favourite seasons. Epic rly captured the chap 2 feeling

Right before we got off me and my friend played a few games. We jumped out the battlebus and I saw a purple launch pad. It’s not that they aren’t in the game it’s just really rare unlike the purple pump.
Forgot to mention that was only once I found it so idk if I’ll even be able to find it. My friend also said he picked up a trap but I never saw it so idk
Also, the Meowdas Peow Peow rifle is really powerful when I use it, but when an opponent uses it, they miss half their shots. Idk if I’m getting platinum bot lobbies, but at least I’m not getting shredded. I finally got my 3rd win (1st BR win this season) with Meowdas’ mythic and Snoop Dogg’s drum gun, and a gold pump, and I coincidentally won it in the same place I won my first match. The launch pad ( 7:59 ) is also existent as a trap slot, because I found one yesterday. They also re-added campfires, which I am glad about.
I'm glad they decided to actually try something new instead of just copy and pasting the old map. The Doggpound is becoming one of my favorite POIs of all time, it just looks really good.
i just don’t understand how players are mad because they were expecting midas boss to return and not snoop dogg when they drop the SAME weapon stats wise. And for obvious reasons they won’t copy paste exact C2S2.
I’ve been loving this season so far. This is by far the best season of Fortnite this year simply because of both is balance, strong map and great gameplay design. Chapter 2 is a clear example in why balance in a game ultimately leads to long term enjoyment as I have yet to be annoyed at any item Even stuff like the boogie bombs aren’t that annoying because you have to be close to use them. Overall I hope ch 6 takes notes from this if not however I will be worried for ch 6

They missed out the opportunity to incorporate more Ch 2 battle pass skins. I like the chaos director but it shouldn’t be in the battle pass. It’s the same thing with what they did last season with the Cap Jonesy and Peelverine, like it’s a cool collab of the season theme, but they don’t belong in the battle pass.
I've had alot of fun playing the season so far, even if i could never play c2s2 i still watched videos about it when it came out, so i'm glad to be able to really experience it for myself!
I have said this from the moment it was announced. Chapter 2 will will always be my favourite and to be honest I think it should be longer than a month
surprisingly, this chapter is a breath of fresh air for me, after a very unpleasant fifth chapter. Interesting map, good loot pool, lots of different transport and most importantly the return of hitscan. Honestly, I was very surprised considering I didn't like the first season OG at all, but this time it's quite the opposite and I'm enjoying every game. Solo mode in reload was also surprising, I didn't expect anything new, but the pace of the game has completely changed to a more dynamic side, which is definitely nice.(the new map was good too).
i would want to point out that snoop's drum gun is a bit overpowered. It shoots so fast your building cant save you. Yeah, its fun to use it but when it comes to fight agianst it, you have to be extra lucky to win

Correction: In reload solos, you start with 3 respawns, you don't get any from eliminating players. But overall this season is VERY good, im enjoying it a lot!
I don't know if today is just a bad day but I am just having no fun at all. When I first played I couldn't change skins which annoyed me so I'm stuck with the same skin until they fix that bug. And I just don't know why I can't have fun when I play. Maybe I need to play with friends since I've only been playing solos which my lobbies suck for casual and I just can't get a win which sucks but that is just a skill issue I guess but even then when I do win a fight I still am just pissed after the fact
Only thing I dont like are bugs, I found monitors without texture on map and inside the basment at weaping Woods there is water *sorry for wrong speeling English is not my native language, Im still learning*

The throwable launchpad item was actually introduced in Chapter 3, although I havent found a single launch pad in all the games ive played, it definetly is a weird change. 2. The memes inbetwrrn eqch segment are way too long. I get that its to give us sonething to laugh at, and you need to make the video past 8 minutes to get those midroll ads, but cmon man. I dont wanna wait 20 seceonds listening to audio from movies ive never seen to watch a fortnite commentary.
The only thing I don’t like about this season is the musical artists, because I don’t like rap music. Literally every other thing about this season is great, I just hope more map changes that don’t revolve around the rappers will come. I think the addition of kicks is cool, but they really need to be the same price as emotes for them to be something I would buy. 200-300 v-bucks for Fortnite original shoes, and 400-500 v-bucks for collabs. I really hope epic doesn’t screw us over with this type of cosmetic. I was originally against their existence but seeing all the silly ideas people have just actually makes me want to use them, it’s the same thing that happened with Jam Tracks. The new reload map looks cool but I haven’t played it yet. I really hope that a chapter 2 map comes eventually. I personally think that 30 minutes to a map is too short, maybe like 40-60 minutes per map would be nice but it is a really cool addition. The battle pass this season in (in my opinion amazing) if epic doesn’t bring back old battle pass skins, I’m fine with these combined ones.

There are both throwable and trap lauchpands. They even brought back spike traps and campfires, but they're really hard to find.
