Thank you as well! Glad it was helpful, so when you leave BMT, you will leave the Monday following your graduation. So you leave around 2AM Monday morning on a bus to the airport. Then you fly to the ST Louis airport, then a bus takes you from ST Louis to FLW. Its around a 2-3 hour bus ride. There is an airport at Fort Leonard Wood, so there is a chance they might fly you there instead of the bus
Did you have any prior service students in your class? If so, do you know what they did as far as being apart of the class and after class? Did they do pt and participate in other duties?
Yeah they are called TDY's, we actually had a Chief Master Sergeant in our block. They just kind of did their own thing. They all stayed at hotels off base. They would only show up for class. They did PT on their own time. So only time we ever interacted with them was during class and graduation
So you said for phase 3 there’s no curfew over the weekend, but you’d have to be back by Sunday evening I assume right? So could you stay overnight somewhere, for instance if you have family visiting. And also, could you travel outside the state to visit family over that weekend?
Nope! If you stay the night though, you just gotta turn in a form for accountability purposes. It doesn't have to get approved like it does in Phase 2. And yup, it just has to be in that 3 hour radius from base. And for your question about Sunday. You just gotta be back for PT which starts at 19:45
Thank you! This video really helped a lot, I was wondering if when you leave BMT do you fly or ride a bus to Fort Leonard Wood?

Navy calls theirs colloquial.
Is there a bx there? I still have $150 on my BMT card 😅
How is the gym there is it big?
It is pretty big. Around the same size as a 24 Hour Fitness or Planet Fitness
Can you get tattoos while there ?
I think you are suppose to tell them if you do, but lots of people there were getting tattoos and didn't tell anyone
