A great thing I saw was a guy that posted a fit on r/streetwear with a really nice puffer jacket. Everyone began asking where it was from and he went from not selling enough stock to selling out in hours.
Thanks for the tips. I work at a small backpack manufacture. Our team is small. When I answer calls it’s spam... trying to get us phony followers. I always felt more like going out and interacting with people rather than paying somebody to promote your brand. Be local, think global. I like that. Keep up the good work.
He is so helpful, this is really going to make the difference for my company. If you are starting a clothing brand, make sure you watch his first video," why most streetwear brands fail"
You have such a great natural growth strategy to Fashion Brands which is brilliant because it's exactly what we're missing and need more of in this industry.
Thank you for all the info you put out to the world everyone should appreciate for you taking you're valuable time to teach people that takes them all there life to learn......take this genius advice it's free.....love all you're advice bro and God bless .
I really like this kind of content man. I've been struggling to keep myself motivated to move forward and this really helps a lot. Oh and you got me on that Y-3 thumbnail. Cheers!
On the next video can you go over how getting samples to see what your designing before actually buying everything and how you find out how to come up with measurements of the clothes?? Big fan of this series bro and really inspiring keep it up!
Question: What if you already started the brand, in all the wrong ways for your first product? E.g. Skip initial marketing, straight to product marketing, idea and core message is unclear, etc. How do we save the brand from failing in the near future? Point to note: First product already sold but buyers are unaware of the idea and message behind the brand.
Wow. Found you first cuz I was trynna find some shopping places in tokyo, and now I found this video, and immediately pressed the sub button. I was having some same thoughts on marketing clothing, but you made my brain map wayyy bigger. Now I will definately make progress hopefully. I just so want to let you know at the time my brand officially comes out. And I will definately thank you for your share on these infos. Keep it up, keep inspiring people like me man, love the work. 🙏🙏
One thing I’ve been noticing is the increase in influencers with stakes in certain brands. The influencers grew their following by showing off a huge variety of brands and styles, but as soon as they get tied to a brand or start their own brand, they focus on only that brand and style. Usually, their following and influence goes down because people see it as selling out. Should you continue the diversity on your page, or strictly stay with one brand because of the conflict of interest?
This IS a great question! THE CASUAL, I’d really like to hear the answer to this. I’ve done some research on this question but it’s “rabbit hole” type of info, as in answer leading to another question leading to another answer and so on. With certain things, I love that about research, but I’d like a solid answer on this and there isn’t much out there.
Yo great 3 pt video series. I had an idea, now I have a direction that’s a complete 180 from that idea. I feel more inspired and confident than ever. Thanks!
Great info I’m a huge fan of you work, I’m starting a brand and indeed of some feed back and advise. I don’t mind paying for your time. You have true value in your words and could some some input. I’m just starting out I already filed for trademark and have a few design made.
I disagree with the photoshop/illustrator point. Sure it's true for the layman but experienced designers can also whip up a logo in Photoshop. I created my brand logo in photoshop, it looks dope and I can also turn it into a vector whenever I want.
It's a type of digital image that can be resized to whatever size you want without losing any quality. Illustrator deals with vectors but you can also make vectors in Photoshop
Zed Zed totally agree. I still use photoshop for vector based logos and character illustration using the pen tool. Illustrator is great because is specifically targeted for vector based things. But totally doable in photoshop.
Thank you for sharing these tips, marketing is something I’m struggling with when it comes to my brand and you have helped the lightbulb go off . Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
After watching your videos I’ve realized I 100% started my brand off SOOO wrong. I have a business Facebook and business Instagram page for it, and it even has a couple hundred followers. I plan on doing a complete rebrand, but, I was wondering, should i delete this account and start completely new with a new account, or should i just edit this account to fit my new brand (new name, philosophy, etc)
bruh good video as always ( u better put pt3 on the vids title ) but ey i got a a question which been buggin me a lot im interested in starting a clothing line but i live in north africa and the shipping fees from any website is ridiculous , just amazon be charging 50+ dollars for most basic things so if i managed to get a couple of tees from the manufacturer and tried to sell em online i wont profit anything qt all the money would go to shipping companies an i may even lose more than id profit . id appreciate if u answer this here or on pt 4 not to just help me but also other viewers from countries that have a similar case . NOTIFICATION GANG
yeah that is a big challenge. just dealing with import fees and duties is really painful. locally sourcing your materials is a good start and you might form a good partnership there.
Chady OnFire Try to get connected with other people from a different area(s) to have your stuff shipped from there, for less. Plus let me check what you have I'm interested to see your clothing ideas.
Act local but be global, find those people in your community that represent what you think is closest to your brand. And like he said in earlier videos, your going to have to pump money before even making a profit. Find another source of income to support your clothing brand and spend that money on exposing it. YOur gona lose some before making some, its a risk but i feel like if you dont do it and commit to it you probably wont make it. Good luck dude and have fun doing it. Hustle
Love love loveeee your videos! i subscribed yay!... Question, if we create buzz around our brand before having actual products, would not that take away the interest of the people when they visit my website and they don't find any products listed? , If we give out entry point products with my card and details how to follow it, but when they do check my page there is nothing on it? Would that not make people lose interest? And if they do lose interest wouldn't it mean that when we do finally launch our brand, these people who we reached out have already forgotten about us?...next question how soon after promotion shall we launch the products? thanks so much.... love from Maldives
Since you mentioned not starting off your brand with product, and instead start it off with entry point items, when is it ideal to add product to your brand?
I say go for it! I suggest starting with printful, which is a great platform for starting out, and is how i started my brand. If you have a chance, check it out at tictail.com/asymmetrical and you can use code "FXWLRQ" for 5% off
joshua menard bro you have some nice ideas, (i like the flower design for example) but lots of your stuff is just so generic. And it’s the same design on way too many products, it has a really cheap vibe. Just some random opinion from someone who just visited your store I hope you don’t take it personal, wish you great success ✌🏼
Hey mate, I am starting a culture brand, to do with chasing your dreams, the cost of happiness and cannabis culture. Im not really into fashion, but I am artistic in my own way, and want to get my art and my friends art on tshirts and other clothing. Should i rethink it because I am not into fashion? Im not rethinking how you wear clothes but just putting my art on it
It's immersed my question I have been in the field of branding and I neither own a website nor Facebook if I wish to choose a Facebook as my B2B platform what are the procedures thanks in regards.
great video really learning a lot with this series, can you please add it to. the channels playlist?? hahaha its a bit annoying when you bench watch :)
I love this video! I just hate the fact I chose a non-advertiser friendly brand name - I'm really in love with the niché, just not the part with marc zucc continuously letting me down 😂
To draw the actual designs themselves, is it better to use Photoshop or Illustrator? I am an artist and I've been using Photoshop for over 10 years and pretty much know my way around it but got confused when you mentioned you need Illustrator to draw stuff.
Do you think it will hurt the brand if I launch my brand with an artist? Or should I wait for my second collection to start collaborating with artist. I wonder if people will think the brand belongs to that artist
I wanna. Start up a clothing brand as an artist, I know i should target lots more of artists, is it advisable to campaign my designed product/stocks without having the product, then when I get an order i will then produce the product for the order?.. some one give me a tip here.
Hey Reggie, I like your insightful content and watch it, thanks for your contribution to start-ups like myself. I have a start-up tech-wear company in South Africa called Method Mode. In a few weeks I'm travelling to Asia and am using this trip partly as a vacation, but also an opportunity for some R&D. Ideally i would think of visiting some sportswear fabric outlets, tech-wear designers' boutiques and factories to perhaps try and wrap my head around the manufacturing trends in South East Asia. I'm flying to Bangkok as my brother lives there, and hope to travel to other places - not quite sure exactly where yet. Would you be able to recommend 1 or 2 places i could visit that could be useful? Any comment or feedback will be appreciated. Thank you again for your informative content!
So can i actually wear my designed stuff for my own? so when ppl ask me where i got that from i say 'its my own label and it stands/ is for....' do you think that work as well?
What do you think about keeping the brand you start on a cult-like following. Like PLEASURES, anti social social club and VLONE? I’m looking at those brands way of marketing for my own brand I’m cooking up. I’m a long way from it though, I’m looking for a designer and researching printing shops in the area
A great thing I saw was a guy that posted a fit on r/streetwear with a really nice puffer jacket. Everyone began asking where it was from and he went from not selling enough stock to selling out in hours.
Fr?
Makes sense
Act Local // Think Global

This dude would be great for hypebeast or complex
Projects USA with enough time + exposure, The Casual could become as big as them
Thanks for the tips. I work at a small backpack manufacture. Our team is small. When I answer calls it’s spam... trying to get us phony followers. Zed Zed what’s a vector
It's a type of digital image that can be resized to whatever size you want without losing any quality. Illustrator deals with vectors but you can also make vectors in Photoshop
This is correct. EPS, PSD files go a lot farther nowadays then they did 15 years ago
Zed Zed totally agree. I still use photoshop for vector based logos and character illustration using the pen tool. Illustrator is great because is specifically targeted for vector based things. But totally doable in photoshop.

Edit it In my opinion, I’ve seen a lot of brands have rebranded (name, target etc) and have been successful with it but follow you

try and get the products locally, your country or perhaps your own city
yeah that is a big challenge. just dealing with import fees and duties is really painful. locally sourcing your materials is a good start and you might form a good partnership there.
what if the customers i'm trying to get arent the ones in my city /country

This was a really informational video
Damn bro. You're a blessing.

To draw the actual designs themselves, is it better to use Photoshop or Illustrator? I am an artist and I've been using Photoshop for over 10 years and pretty much know my way around it but got confused when you mentioned you need Illustrator to draw stuff.
Where or how would you distribute thes entry items like stickers and pens?
Great tips my guy!
Do you think it will hurt the brand if I launch my brand with an artist? Or should I wait for my second collection to start collaborating with artist. I wonder if people will think the brand belongs to that artist

Hey, bro. Was part 4 ever done & put out? If anyone knows, please let me know.
4th Watch Media Group, LLC. Yes! He has like 6 or 7 at this point I believe
How can i launch a clothing brand and make 500$ a month with 250$ profit working 1 hour a day or less?
Your shirt is dope, so is the video!
great video!
What if my brand is not yet trademarked ?????????????????
I wanna. Start up a clothing brand as an artist, I know i should target lots more of artists, is it advisable to campaign my designed product/stocks without having the product, then when I get an order i will then produce the product for the order?.. some one give me a tip here.
Yo quick question. THE CASUAL'S logo? What does it actually mean? Or portray? I dig it. It's simple.
Bruh I like your videos but this one... I loved this one u really know what you talking about, please keep doing this absolutely dope s***t

Jermaine Stallenberg Sorry, what’s R&D?
So can i actually wear my designed stuff for my own? so when ppl ask me where i got that from i say 'its my own label and it stands/ is for....' do you think that work as well?
You might want to say, “Yeah it’s a really cool brand, you should check it out”
@@EduardoBeBetter yup. People would respect that more when you aren't trying to push you're own brand. It's a weird psychological concept
Are lanyards good entry items to sell?
your titles should say the part in it. it's difficult to look through and find past episodes
Just done. Check the playlist now my friend
What do you think about keeping the brand you start on a cult-like following. Like PLEASURES, anti social social club and VLONE?
I’m looking at those brands way of marketing for my own brand I’m cooking up.
I’m a long way from it though, I’m looking for a designer and researching printing shops in the area
Your store link does not work.
ANY WAY TO GET IN TOUCH WITH YOU?
