Marketing is a step by step process, you build off your audience continuously to create a base. A lot of people seem to think by getting a celebrity to wear a piece will instantly give them an insane amount of exposure generating nonstop sales. When this does happen, it’s rare and usually it’s not for long. The best way to grow a business is organically. Can’t get enough of these discussions though nothing else like this on RUclips.👍
My favorite series on the channel, thank you for helping aspiring designers.
I'm sitting here in a room with my future competition. Hey guys 😆
Lmao good luck
Hello
Good luck fam ❗️
Lmaoo heyy
Many don’t know that supremes founder first worked at a trendy 80s brand called Parachute. They had stores all over the USA and their flagship store in NYC was directly across the CDG store in SOHO.
So when I found out about this info and not up on the new fashion of now, but was really into fashion in the 80s, I wasn’t surprised of him opening Supremes. I’m surprised that no one now talks about parachute and it’s all about vintage right now and they were huge in the fashion scene back then. Intact about 3 years ago, I found.a parachute shirt at some garage sale for like $8. I tried to look on eBay to see how much it was going for and i couldn’t even find one n eBay.
I've started watching you and Im just just blown away that this stuff is all online for free, thanks for doing this stuff. Your channel is a beautiful gem hidden away from most people. Thank you again
Good shit. Immediately ordering my copy of purple cow
Will you tell us the best books to read for starting a clothing brand

Dude All your vids are guidelines for me turning interests into reality.Keep it casual my friend
Hey what’s up Reggie, can you make a video on trademarking, on copyrighting and all the very important legal stuff... Thank you!
my new favorite channel idk why, not even that stylish type of a guy
Maybe that's why you're here?
nah, im not that stylish but my set is pretty decent, maybe our "stylish" are different tho

I'm so happy I found you man!! :)
Amazing tips bro. This helps for more then just fashion and I learned that just by watching this video bro. Love it!
I just rewatched every video leading up to this
I just binged all the others last night😂perfect timing lol. Also what do you think about printful for brand launches?
Did you end up using Prinful?
can't wait for part 9!
Awaiting last episode!!! DOPE!!
Hey Reggie. watching your videos has been very informative. Although i came across your videos after I came up with a brand name which my brother thinks is so sick by the way. I don't know if i should change my whole process now, because i definitely wasn't thinking about brand philosophy when i thought of the name.(Haven't done anything else because i found your series ) Also how do i deal with things like legal structure, tax, sales permits and the law in general. Really want my brand to be future-proof. Thanks
I also discuss some of the tips on how to promote your brand/business in 2020. Click the link below for more information :) 👉🏽👉🏼 ruclips.net/video/ZgQ0RivE0t8/видео.html

Cause I live on the other side of the world & want to run an Merch store & accurate information like what's currently trending in the US, UK, JAPAN etc are hard to come by. Please help. THANKS Love this series & applying them.
Beautiful ❤ Most underrated channel
do you think you can create a video giving us physical examples of look books, tech packs, etc.? I know you mentioned them but we aren't really left with an idea of what they would typically look like.
i’ve been waiting for this episode my man
The one dislike is a person in Australia that sees this upside down so they thought they were liking it.
Love this series
when is the next episode coming out Reggie? i love it
Been waiting so long for this
Thank you for this man.
I hear that Q-tip beat in the back! I see you
Make a video on how to maintain a brand. And grow it over decades of time.
I think that should be covered in the "Future proofing" episode.
Yo Reggie so much about fashion brands when is the casual merch coming out man
Dude i love you so much, thank you
Could you possibly do a video where you made a fake streetwear brand and show us how you'd market it?
Seems like a good idea. Maybe we'll develop one
@@THECASUALco The brand is called On Black or Inferior (the reverse of Supreme) or even Fun Tekashi
Can you please do a video on the clothing line "KUON"?
With making a website, are there any certain sites I should look into?
Ayee unscripted is backkk!!❤❤❤
If I want to make a techwear inspired brand, how do I get micro influences? Are they're even micro influencers in techwear?
Sharpie 616 of course! There’s always someone
dig
maybe scarlxrd. he's kinda tech
"Guerilla marketing is a form of marketing that creates brand awareness with limited resources (not a lot of money) ..."
Continues to show pictures of hella expensive marketing props.
Finally!!🙌🏾
How much for the HYKES behind you in the video?
Would you later make a video on finding investors? I have everything ready, except money for manufacturing my sneakers. How do I find the right person who is willing to invest in my business? I have the pitch and a business plan ready. I don't want to post my designs on social, your recent videos about other designers stealing scare the shit out of me hahahaha!
8:35 blind folded test, make sure it's visible
This is going to take me YEARS. I'm age 17 and I wish I would of started last year. #rip
Another 17 year old here! Lol
Yes! Keep dropping knowledge Reggie! Love the channel
Dope
How many followers does a micro influencer have? 0 - 1 million or 0- 500k?

Are you for hire? : )
haha 30 000 a month
why is he acting like leafy with that mic in front of his face?
Wait, have you started your own clothing brand?
How can we trust your tips and opinions if you have yet to accomplish this...
It's like a person born with no legs trying to teach me how to run.
This has been explained several times and it's almost unbelievable how some people question the validity because I don't have some famous brand that you know of. But the real question is why would I tell you something I don't know about? And why do you question my integrity in the matter? What triggered you to believe I don't know what I'm talking about?
It seems very peculiar that given the facts but here I go having to prove myself again. My first job out of college was creative marketing, mostly for lifestyle brands and fashion labels. From there I became part of several design teams that built there own brands. I developed a line for Los Angeles based company sbe, designed the tech packs for Fred Segal Jeans Japan, developed my own line (that I shuttered because consulting was far more lucrative), created marketing initiatives for brands in Japan that give more exposure to brands like Broke City Gold and Cote Mer. And throughout all that time I created a business in Japan that deals with consulting for fashion labels.
The real travesty here is that marketing is nearly universal across the board. Anybody with a knowledge of it knows that no matter if it's a clothing line or not the same rules apply. I happen to work in fashion as an unseen actor. And as an unseen actor my validity is questioned the minute you see me, on the screen, talking about something I spent nearly 10 years of my life studying, becoming a part of, and implementing in my own business.
And yet you immediately retreated to me not having a brand when I, to this day, help build brands from the ground up. It's the very reason I got a chance to live in Japan! But hey, it's the internet and I could be lying about the whole thing and going out of my way to give you false information. Seems pointless and time consuming no?
-Reggie
Ah, I never knew that. I just assumed RUclips was your full-time gig. Didn't know you actually worked in the fashion industry. 99.9% of 'Fashion RUclipsrs' have never worked in the fashion industry so I assumed wrongly about you. My bad
THE CASUAL (gif of those black kids at the park reacting to their one buddy and everyone loses their minds)
Chris Chris i own a brand and his videos are suuper informative. i always learn something i didn’t know from his videos.
POLY5000 POLY? I didn’t know you watched this
Not helpful, the only video i disliked in this whole series.
In order to make it better we need to know why it's unhelpful. Giving us social media lingo like "dislike" doesn't help us get better. Others found it helpful so help us make it better.
@@THECASUALco for me personally the problem is creating content for your social media in order to do marketting because i am on a limited budget, you didnt explain any of that. Guerilla marketting was not clear you didnt give any clear and good example. For me personally this video wasnt helpful at all, this was the most important episode of the whole series and you didnt even scratch the surface. Half of the people who liked this video are not even asking the real question
