Big Bloodsplosion Booms!
QOTD: What would be your ideal level cap for Borderlands 4?
honestly level 80 is a perfect level
@@SwankyBip Too many skill points for me
TVHM would be 60. UVHM would be 80.
I really enjoyed 61 (1 cap stone and half a second tree) felt balanced two me
3 💪💪💪
QOTD: Honestly, 72. I don’t want level caps paid for like in BL2, but I don’t want them in slow increments like in BL3.
Definetly not small increments like bl3 but a couple large jumps all unpaid. No one liked farming all your anointed gear many times over cause of a 2-5 level increase
@@tryhardor1869 Completely agreed! 👍
@@tryhardor1869Yeah, I'd be alright with it jumping from 50 -> 60 -> 72, especially if the jumps are relatively close together. I’d rather get them out of the way as quickly as possible even if it means more farming in the short term.
But 72 is paid in BL2
@@Cuestrupaster What?
QOTD: Depends on how they do it. 70 is probably the healthiest max level cap before things start getting ridiculous, but man does have lvl 80 and subsequent skill points that come with it make you feel awesome. The thing I hope that stays the same is getting your action skill at level 2. It's suppose to be a part of their playstyle, and waiting till level 5 to get it was not painful or slow by any means. Just felt silly.
QOTD: That completely depends on the size of the skill trees. The bl1 skill trees had a lot less skills than bl2 and blps, let alone bl3. But if the skill tree is the same size as bl2, then i think 65 would be a good cap.
I had the same thoughts, it's going to be how long the skill trees are.
QOTD: I'd say probably 70 allows you to spec down into all 3 skill trees but only capstone 2 of them :)
Skill points are nice, but having too many means that most builds end up feeling the same
If we get the same skilltrees... they can always change the way they are and works...
I’m pretty sure you can capstone all three in TPS
@@youreadmychannelnameyou can, but that’s because the points required to reach capstone is less in TPS than it is in 2 (22 skill points vs 26), that and getting your action skill at level 3 vs level 5.
72 is nice considering they probably will keep the 4 skill trees a thing going forward. Hopefully.
Joltz u can't forget the 5 gubs. They need u
Seeing everyone bloodsplode is like that one scene in the first Kingsman
Can’t wait for the ultimate Kreig play through
69 was my favorite lvl cap from BL1, Not even because of funny number but it just felt right.
Who else agrees that joltz dude is the goat
Level 88 with two more play through after UVHM. So a grand total of five play throughs.
PS love you man! Keep up the amazing content!❤❤❤❤
hell no
no one wants to play the story 5 times on 1 character
QOTD: Enough to get a specific build you wanna have going that has a certain theme and then maybe enough points for an extra skill for it down in another tree. For example: A sniper Zero gets two fang and thats it for points then.
QOTD. Kinda outside the box thinking, when if every character has a different level cap depending on how many skills they have. The less skills they have the lower the level cap etc.
I think that level 75 with possibly like 5-25 op levels would be a nice place cause 70 points for build crafting depending on how they make it work sounds nice.
Love the vids, super spawns makes bloodsplosion so fun. I also hope Joltz plays FFYL lands one day :D
I'm fully aware how busted it would be, but i think it's finally time for us to get the fabled level 100 in BL4
I’d love 72 cap with 8op levels, I just found perfect how borderlands 2 was made
Hey Joltz! Love the vids and frequently fall asleep to them c: Could I ask that you move the order of the vids around in this playlist and the last? They're going from newest to oldest instead of the usual way. Sorry if I'm being a bother or anything :'3
I would want the level cap to be 100. With all of the crew challenges, boss farms, and everything in between that gearbox will add, I think level 100 would be great especially if they do a 4th skill tree again for the next game.
QOTD
It depends on the number of skills and if something like the OP Levels will exist, because you shouldn't be able to have all the skills in all the trees but you should be able to get 2 capstones and about half of the third tree, if there are 4 trees but its enemy level scaling is even more unforgiving than 1s, then maybe every 10 levels gets 2 points instead of one to try to counteract that at least for players who don't farm (if it is something like that it should be toggleable because I don't need that I'm far too addicted to farming everything I don't need).
on release i hope for around lvl70 cause usually the higher the cap the more content (wonderlands for example) but as they add dlcs would be cool to see a level90-100 cap with some huge skill trees
Level 45 with two skill trees. I liked the route wonderlands went and i think that's the best for build diversity.
QOTD: personally either 65 or 70 seem like good level max caps. Gives you a good number of skill points for late game but also leaves room for how you use them for a specific build. I like a challenge
QOTD: 100 flat would be great, make it hard to get to, add wild skill trees and maybe for once we get to max out all skill trees?
I would say 80 be the LVL cap but with a twist, a Vault Hunter Prestige similar to COD's Prestige system but the Prestige system allows you unlock whatever you call to make the story harder while the lvl reset back to 1 or 0(Only the first time it goes back to lvl 0 but it increases by 5 the more you prestige, and the lvl start would max out at 30).
I want the level cap for bl4 to be 50, we dont need so many skill points and i dont want to do another pre sequel level grind
The level cap should be EXPLOSIONS!
Maybe something around 70-ish depending on at what level action skill is unlocked.
QOTD: I would say 65. I understand as a vault hunter, you would be much stronger than everyone around you, but I find it boring being a glass canon every time.
1:51 when you and the boys waiting on reception
Make it 100, just 'cause. Three digits looks nice. 😂 Also, have more 10 point skills in the trees.
QOTD: I think level 100 would be perfect. You could scale everything linearly using powers of 10. It would help balance gear and with overall coding of the game.
QOTD: I'd like to see a level 50 cap with 2 skill points per level, also op/mayhem level without having op/mayhem weapons, so you keep the lvl 50 items while the enemies are slightly tougher but drop more unique gear based on the active difficulty level chosen, let's say 1 to 5
This is the first time ive seen joltz use rubberized grenades
The level cap should be 5 to keep on theme with this series
I would say something in the high 50s which allows you to get a capstone and invest deep into another tree for some great versatility but not so many points like in bl2 and bl3 where you can get pretty much every skill you need in 1 spec
QOTD: I don’t want there to be a cap. An xp system that results in people agreeing on a general “level 70 ish for completed builds” while allowing people who want it to get every skill sounds nice.
I feel like the game would get boring if you could get every skill, even if it took a really long time. You wouldn’t have to make any meaningful choices about how to allocate your points. I’d also be worried about endgame content being balanced around the assumption that you have every skill.
@@B_Skizzle think about all the souls games as an example. You can max everything and yet people put a lot of thought into how to build characters. Just because you can get everything doesn’t mean there’s no value in creating synergy along the way.
It gives the synergy people the ability to be flexible with how many points they need while allowing people who want to play god with everything to do so.
i feel like 72 was alright, maybe something like op challenges that let you gain another point like mad moxi did for the 1st game could add to the fun and show extra skill
QOTD: 100 because it would allow for some really OP end game builds were you have like 3 max skill trees.
Probably Level 70 like the Pre Sequel so you can make the build you want, albeit only cap out 2 trees. Plus give us level cap increases in increments of 10 for free, like 50 to 60 to 70.
depends on how the skill lvl are used and how many skill tree are there to be used, but 70 is i think reasonable, they can unlock cap when new dlc and stuff drops
@joltzdude139 do u know the enemy called meat popisicle in borderlands 1
Honestly 72 is just a classic level cap due to the fact it was the level cap for the LONGEST time due to BL2 and it's popularity
In answer to your question i'd like to see the level cap hit 100 but.. hear me out, all skills have an option for mastery which enhance them one step further so you really have to assess which skills to prioritise mastery on in the late game builds
idk if you’ve heard this before but i’m really liking the 15 minute videos again and still kinda miss the 30 minute ones🥺 but i get that you have a life too man🙏😭
QOFTD: I think 100 is a good number. I think it's a good number, making it possible to increase your skills even further and become more badass
I think no level cap could be interesting allow you to keep going and keep scaling not to mention eventually stacking every skill in your arsenal seems on the nose for this franchise
So Joltz, quick question regarding farming exp in FFS on a new character. How long can you stay in the dlc before the raiders fully take over sanctuary?
QOTD: for borderlands 4 I would love for the level cap to be 100 or more, the amount of fun it would be to do so would be amazing!
My brain what's happening, I'm glad I'm not the only one whose thoughts and words go in the box also I master thee five magic kings, krieg is op
I think the new level cap should be a bit higher. Maybe 90-100? I also think characters should come base with 4 skill trees next time or have the 3 trees be bigger.
QOTD: I really liked the bl 1 lvl cap, felt like it was a nice grind but wasn't to long like bl2 felt imo. I never really got into the others unfortunately, but bl1 was a fun and easy grind to max
Honestly level 72 was great for where it was at but maybe like a profile level so you can have 3 lvl 72 characters but have a profile level of 216 (all levels put together)
QOTD:
Levels caps doesnt matter, as long as there are multiple fun ways to grind it.
I personally would want it the same as bl2 purely because I think more points would make for cooler potential builds.
QOTD: I think it would be more interesting to see certain skill perks in a tree like cap stones to reqiure more than 1 point. This could make people become more creative with builds.
QOTD: I want it to be capped to where you can have max capstones on 2 different trees
QOTD just incase this is the last Borderlands main game in the franchise I would love for the level cap to be 100, just take it to the max.
QOTD: id really like it to be 100, theres just that magic number that screams badass than level 100
Let's go the full RPG experience and say Level 100. Level cap for normal would be 33, then TVHM would be 66, and then UVHM would be 100.
level 50. Return to tradition. Extra skill points should be given from special missions and DLC's. Multiple playthroughs should be done away with and you should be able to get somewhat close to max level by the end of the game or maybe high 30's. Raid bosses, gauntlets and PvP arenas should give extra skill points too up until a true cap.
Depending on how many rows of skills in a tree i would say 72-80 would be best. But if they keep the skill trees the same size at bl2-3 then it shouldn't go over 72
I would probably say somewhere high like 100 to make you feel OP in late game but that depends on how many skills they add for each so probably 80-100 lvl cap
if the skill trees are like the pre sequel (some of the best trees in the game(minus Amara)) then lvl 70 would be a good way to balance it
This mod is like a micheal bay movie
Hey joltz did you know if you have a deliverance throw it and switch to a bass boom the throw will do the badabooms damage probably be good on krieg
Badaboom*
Imo it will depend on how big the skill trees gonna be
QOTD: I would honestly just like them to make a level cap that stays the same from launch until the end of the game's life cycle, so I won't have to farm all the items again I already farmed for max level.
QOTD: I'D SAY LVL 90 WOULD BE FUN TO GRIND FOR AND MAYBE MAX OUT ALL THREE SKILL SETS
QOTD: 70 or 80. I don't want paid level caps, that's just scummy marketing in my book. I also do like more round numbers in this particular case, and that should be enough skill points to allow us to have some weird and fun builds, even if they might be overpowered.
QOTD: Level 99, it’s just the classic satisfying max video game level.
what if no level cap but just level cap for gear/health that would make things like melee scale normally because that normally is based off of level. and you'd feel way more awesome to have a super high level character
Joltz ive been craving to play bl2 but the game instant crashes when i start it up. Do you know anything to try and help????
QOTD: id like bigger skill trees with around level 72 as the cap
QOTD: I want 61, I think that 80 is way too many skill points but 50 is way to little skill points. 61 would make each build unique and useful for certain aspects of a playthrough. (also I hate grinding from 60-80)
QOTD: Hard to say, it does depend on the amount of skills we have available to us, but if its like bl3 then im fine with the 72 lvs.
I'd definitely want it to be 90. With maybe OP Levels again up to 10 so that way we fight level 100+ enemies
For the qotd. I think 139 would be great 😊
Somewhere in the 60s was great for both BL2 and BL3 imo so if the skill trees are anything like either of those then probably around 65
I'd prefer around that too. It makes every skill point feel more valuable
QotD: You can get 2 cap stones with perfect point usage. I don't really care what the number is but I wanna have the last power increase feel special
AOTD: At least 70 with 4 skill trees at launch
Lvl 72 seems like a good lvl for BL games, but i wish for the classic lvl 99 we see in RPG
Whatever number it takes to put points into all of the skills. I want to max out the skill trees
I remember your minecraft videos
Since then the game has gotten a lot of glowups
I want it to cap out at 2 capstone skills with 5 or 10 levels to spare for some build freedom
If they make skill trees a couple rows longer and add a fourth skill tree to each character, level 100 😎
I'm crazy so I would want 82 just so it would be fun to expand builds but BL4 has to have more end game to feel balance I believe
Qotd: i would like a set level cap or large increase. definitely not like bl3 having to regain perfect every for 3 levels
as long as proportions feel good i dont really mind
bl1 felt awesome to me in terms of progression and it also matters more how many skills you get as well as what level you get your action skill
but if I were to pick a # itd be 80, feels like a cleaner cap than 69/72 and 40 feels low for a BL game (even though its *technically* not a BL game)
QOTD: I would like it to be 80 or 72 like in 2 and 3, because I like getting a lot of skill points to make builds with the skilltrees. Wonderlands was just kind of underwhelming in that department
QOTD: level cap: 69 (for borderlands reasons) but can go up infinitely after for no added perk points but just to look cool, like cool points
QOTD: enough for all skill trees
QOTD: lvl 90 honestly, just to keep in touch with the mainline borderlands games gradual lvl caps increasement
Imagine spawn X5 with the randomiser mod
I'd say 75. Not 80, but not 65. I think that's pretty balanced.
QOTD: for me it depends if there are 4 skills trees 72+ but if there's only 3 than i liked bl1's 69 plus its a funny number
QOTD: 100 cause what number perfectly says max level plus so many options to go if they do an evolution line skill tree
GOTD: borderlands 4 level cap should be level 80 the only bad thing is the grind, also because it would be cool to have op levels again
11:46 least psychopathic BL2 player
QOTD: 70 if they have 4 (free) skill trees, 50 if its 3.
75 to 80 would be good, enough skill points to make great builds
Personally, I feel like that is too much.
