  • For many years I experienced chronic stress which contributed to and lead to multiple mental and physical health issues. If you are someone, or knows someone, currently experiencing chronic stress, and are delaying actually resolving it - in this video I share exactly how chronic stress slowly destroys our mental and physical health - so you can become aware of and avoid the consequences.
Anything expressed in this video is my own personal opinion based on my own experiences and should not be used as a replacement for professional therapy/medical help or advice. Please use your own discernment and personal judgement and seek medical help from a doctor or mental health professional.

There is always a new stressing thing out there. I was pretty "stable" during 2020 and most of 2021 until last week when they started saying there will be electric shortages, they'll cut the supply chain and there will be no food... That thing has raised my stress and anxiety up to a point that I hadn't had like in years.

I don't think it's paradoxical that we've developed advanced technology but can't solve the problem of stress. The pace of technological change is a large part of the problem. We're all expected to adapt to this change, but the human organism is not equipped to deal with it. The stress imposed by the constant need to adapt to unpredictable developments is enormous.

Hi Rumzi! Your symptoms look a lot like mine. When I first depersonalized I was completely CALM. Like I felt no stress, I felt nothing. I had severe ptsd before and very anxious but when this happened (because of brain training for ptsd) I didn't feel anything. Zero emotion! Now it goes back and forth. I sometimes feel nothing, sometimes I feel very angry, sometimes I feel anxiety, then I feel nothing again. My other symptom is feeling very detached from myself and not having any memory capacity. Is this still depersonalisation? Because my feelings are numb yet do go all over the place too...I feel a bit borderline and I haven't heard other people mention that. I hope you respond! Thank you!!

Hi, it is difficult to say as diagnosis of issues can vary and overlap, so it is always best to get a diagnosis from a professional therapist. It does sound like many of the symptoms of depersonalisation but I cannot give a definitive answer.

Have you ever suffered from existential thoughts or ever had a distinct weird feeling when you think about something greater than yourself like (for ex. the universe), I'm seeking some insight on how to get over this because I have been suffering from dpdr, depression, anxious thinking for about 4 months. But these thoughts recently occurred about 2 days ago. I've also been a little more dissociated from my idenity and it's kind of confusing and a little but frightening.

Great video. Watching your videos, I have an idea about MD that I want to ask your opinion about. I'm really trying to figure out a way to use ERP and mindfulness techniques to neutralize the pavlovian conditioning of MD. So if I pace around the room to deliberately *expose* myself to the urge to daydream, and try to not indulge in the daydreaming "ritual" through using mindfulness techniques to focus on the bodily sensations, my breathing and the act of walking itself in order to prevent my *response* of daydreaming, do you think this could gradually extinct the conditioned response of MD? Do you think an exercise like this for a prolonged time every day is a good application of ERP for MD?
