    Also, Rumzi, is dpdr has something to do with “doing nothing”, “being empty”, “lack of motivation”. I mean doing everthing yourself, being motivated helps it?

    I tried eye exercises which is helping with my eyes making them feeling more relaxed and less frozen in one place. I wonder if this is what led to having a great sleep and a reduction in symptoms. The first time in over 18 months?

    hi, I want to ask you have you tried these on your trumas and GAD and DPDR etc..
    - Internal family systems IFS
    - ego states
    - EMDR
    - FLASH teqhnique
    - EFT
    - SE

      I have not tried any of those specifically no. For EMDR I know someone who did try it for trauma with DPDR and it helped them, but I have not tried it.

    • @ohama4404
      @ohama4404 8 месяцев назад

      There are many who say that DPDR disorder is not a disorder, it is a defense mechanism, and you can treat it completely 100% if you treat its causes, radically, and these radical treatments are EMDR and IFS, and they also treat anxiety, depression, and panic attacks, and these treatments are scientifically proven, so I I don't know. I suffer from this disorder, as they call it. I will try these approaches. Fortunately, there is a specialized therapist who will help me, and I will tell you what will happen with me. Thank you guys
      I used google translate, sorry if there are any mistakes

    Hi Rumzi, thanks for your helpful videos. Since I give value to your ideas, I wanted to ask you this if you would have any time to check:
    on DPDR; on fight or flight mode, the brain and amigdala says “run now, think later”. So the brain is empty, cannot think. So the persons smartness is also unreachable. After recovery from anxiety and dpdr, will the persons SMARTNESS come back like before?
    (I can explain the question in more detail, but wanted to keep short)

    • @userjeremysheeran
      @userjeremysheeran Год назад +1

      I can categorize; Memories, Emotions, Intelligence, Knowledge, and Smartness.
      Smartness is reasoning. For example a person had a deep understanding on whats going on in his country politically, and in the world with understanding the reasons. But after dpdr; its not like before. So after the anxiety stops, the relations will naturally come and restored? or will the person need to build relations again?

    • @MentalHealthPower
      @MentalHealthPower  Год назад +1

      I can only speak from my own experience, which was that while I had DP/DR, it was much harder to concentrate and to think clearly, memorise and to visualise. As it gradually went away, those things came back and now they function normally. I still have the same interests, I understand things completely fine. I did not have to re-learn anything significant if that is what you mean. The only re-learning was if I simply was out of habit of doing something due to DP/DR making it difficult, like if I had not played a particular game for a long time because I couldn't focus, it would only be natural to need to learn to play it again as I had not practiced for ages.

      I did not have DPDR for such a long time - just 9 months and then a few setbacks, but while having it I feared this and I was 100% the same as before again (except for new realisations of course). But all I liked, my notions, everything was back to before. Could not imagine this at all while in it.
