    Looks great! Alot of your process reminds me of me, I like my studio to sound and feel/look inviting and cozy. I only have one thought, I have a well treated room with atc 45s and a sub and it is still amazing how much bass builds in the corners, I would be interested if metal toolboxes in the nearest corners would help, hurt or unalter the frequencies, or if potentially things could rattle inside of them if they are too close. I May be over thinking it though. Great job, I really appreciate your videos and all of your hard work!!!

    re pedals, do they have velcro on them already? Add the other side of the velcro to the sides of the Husky Tool boxes. Cover the sides with your pedals. If you want a fun looking "brag wall" back ground for a video, just roll the tool boxes into frame, if you want them visible, they can be, or if you do it right, they can be tucked away pretty easily.

    Love your new room Andrew. I am considering doing something similar with my room in the future in regards to acoustic treatment. I would like to do the whole room with rockwool. Exactly how much did that set you back $$$? And any idea how much it would cost to do an entire room?

    • @MrMuppetbaby
      @MrMuppetbaby 2 года назад +1

      Hi Gene, I built frames and put the 48x24 panels of rockwool from Zoro in them. 2" thick. They seem to do the trick also another cheap trick, furniture blankets! I bought a little grommet kit and hung double layers. Wow is all I can say, it deadened my room nicely with the panels and clouds of rockwool. Room EQ Wizard gives me a passing grade now at least.

    I love your videos. This past year I’ve been building out a studio to work out of professionally in a less than ideal space. In some ways it feels like we’re running in parallel, so I’m always interested in the solutions you come up with. My OCD can’t watch any more until you get that other wall finished. It has nothing to do with the internalized stress of me needing to finish the last 1/4 of my ceiling 😬

    I’m curious what acoustic benefits/drawbacks you’ve discovered in working in an “A-shape w/ some vertical walls” space. My 3rd floor has three rooms with that shape, and I’m slowly building my live (far end) storage (middle room) and CR (other end). My spaces actually have a narrow (2’-3’) flat ceiling at the top of the A-shape.

    Question about the dangerfox desk. Will the UF8 ( and a UC1 which I have) fit in the open space where you have the white keyboard situated? Or is the indented lower part not able to accommodate it? Not rack it, just have it sit where the keyboard is sitting now. Thanks

    So on a scale of 1-10 how happy are you with the Fabric-Wall solution? I’m thinking of using it in a build-out I have coming up, and wondering whether it’s more cost-effective than using a bunch of 2x4 acoustic panels.

    • @AndrewMasters
      @AndrewMasters  2 года назад

      For me it's a drastically better solution. Cost will depend on how much you're covering. Fabric Wall has a estimating tool on their site I believe.

    I have gigabit internet in my home, but the further you get from the modem/router, the wireless speed dips from 800-900Gbps to 150-300Gbps - like in my basement WHERE MY STUDIO IS! But, rather than fish Ethernet behind drywall, I was able to run cat5 to another wireless router, not IN my studio, but CLOSE. Now I connect wirelessly to the close router and get 700-800Gbps. No wires, no work, just a $99 router with wifi 6 and some antennas.
