I kind of disagree when he says that it's not a luxury sedan. I mean, it's by no means a maybach or anything but for under 40k, its a really nice car. It looks great(in my opinion) has a very nice interior and all the tech features are there. Sure, it's not a luxury brand but using that logic, the Hyundai Equus isn't a luxury vehicle either. I think its name lessens its appeal too, since the Taurus used to be dreadful so people underestimate it.

A week ago I sold my 2013 Ford Taurus Limited AWD for 8000 USD after putting almost 200,300 miles on it. To sum it up, the car never let me down, even at this mileage it ran smooth as if it’s brand new. Drove all around USA with it, never once had a mechanical issue. None of the HVACs broke. The seats and materials were almost as good as new after a thorough detail. If I wasn’t in a cash crunch right now, I wouldn’t have sold it. I really don't know why people need these big ass cars. Their interior cabin space isn't much bigger than your smaller midsized, compact and even subcompact cars and the trunk space really isn't that much more either, combined with the fact they take up about as much gas millage as a truck I see no point in buying one. If im going to spend 30K or more than im going to want a truck.
You just have to drive it, is all. To me, it's like driving an SUV. I've had a F150 and loved it, but the Taurus is more nimble. And for me, I never used to bed of the pick up.

Your complaints about this car are so petty and ridicules. Also the rear back seat area is huge, I have fit two car seats in the back and have had a ton a room to be able to do. I crossed shopped Impala, Charger and found in real world to have less rear room and head room by far than the other two. The impala drove like crap, the charger had some of the cheapest interior feel and drove rough. The Taurus is so far advanced in tech an safety than the others. Taurus also can still handle curves and drives so smooth it feels like a Lincoln. Tons of power, huge trunk this car is no comparison than anything in its class. Just go actually drive an compare and I guarantee the Taurus will win you over every time. 2014 Taurus Limited Plus 2WD. Oh BTW, it is REAL wood.

@Anthony Strunk I've owned a 2010, 2012, 2014, and 2016. Tire noise was/is never a problem. You either riding on a lot of cement roads, instead of asphalt, or your tires are the issue.
well have fun going off road with the taurus!
FFWD to 4/4/18, I have a 2015 Taurus LTD/awd. Can you tell me what those useless bottom lamps are since there's no DRL on this car? They only come on when you open the doors. I paid $38,800 (new); I ordered a full-size spare wheel ($1100) & had a trailer hitch installed ($500). Still driving it.
Preston Weiters Jr. DRL was an option in 2015 I have them on mine
@Preston Weiters Jr. They are merely accent lights.
Pretty sweet looking when your whip is cruisin around town with your parking lights, an hour or so before the sun sets...
is the 2016 taurus limited a good family car?
Dan Lins Yes positivelly! Really reliable and safe and comfortable all in one.
i hear that they're rated 5 star rating front and rear, 55 mph in the front and 75 mph in the rear. i never heard of that before with any sedan
Lincolnator wait crash test?
I need the trunk and back bumper.where do I get it to buy
@@Lincolnator721 75 mph rear crash is only for the police interceptor sedan
My last one was a 99 😊 great car but had steering issues.
Sounds like a Taurus!
I like your ford taurus limited 2013.and how is this ride

That statement got foreclosed on... sad it didn’t last.
put your foot to the floor if you wanna feel the power
One question... does at have an aux or is it Bluetooth?
Andy Schultz Bluetooth
It has both
hey when u guys comes across a 2013 Toyota Prius could you do a reviews please and thanks if you don't mind
I love it when city folk bitch about "big full size sedans." Lets put em in a crew cab F-350 dually and see how that goes.
Damn
That thing is HUUUUUUGE
Old thread... But, I'm looking at one this wkend. Awd 288hp Limited model. Was curious if anyone had any real world fuel economy for city/highway estimates?
@Angel Gonzalez I'm getting 22 in the city, 28 on the hwy. 2016 Limited
Have you seen it with the twentys
I really don't know why people need these big ass cars. Their interior cabin space isn't much bigger than your smaller midsized, compact and even subcompact cars and the trunk space really isn't that much more either, combined with the fact they take up about as much gas millage as a truck I see no point in buying one. If im going to spend 30K or more than im going to want a truck.
You just have to drive it, is all. To me, it's like driving an SUV. I've had a F150 and loved it, but the Taurus is more nimble. And for me, I never used to bed of the pick up.
my gramdmother had a sky blue loaded old 94 taurus 4 door sedan all the way till 2003. one hell of a car it took so much abuse and stayed mint. one thing ford hasnt dicked up on the tautus completely, is reliability. my other grandmother (dads side) has the crappy gen 2004 taurus in green and peice of crap as it is it does run.
Hey 2trl I am a hockey player. Do you think I would be able to fit a hockey bag and two sticks in the trunk?
Dude, you can fit 7 grown-up's in the trunk, it's huge. Everytime I go and get something from out of my trunk, I have to damn near climb into the trunk. Lbvs!!!
@KnightxxArrow
Those are entry levels and compact this is a midsize
reply me this model 2013 or 2018 ?
How is this not a luxury car? It has all the same features as any luxury car? 😂
This reminds me of the old Crown Victoria.
Never lol
If you're not interested in the car..maybe you shouldn't review it.
He’s got a point dude
This would be more respectable if it had RWD, no excuse for that. I prefer the Chrysler 300 in that class.
Who thinks this will be replacing the 2016 Ford Falcon for Australia, New Zealand etc
Great vid! Can you do a review of the white nissan murano, possibly looking to buy one like to know your thoughts. Thanks
Looking nto a 2015 SE should be interesting.
Did Ford really "shock the world" with the introduction of the Taurus?
yeah. the original one.
well not the world maybe..
Yes, they did. Ford Taurus is a nice car and it's sad to see it be discontinued.
In the 90s yea

"I bet you want the goodies.
Bet you thought about it.
Got you all hot and bothered.
Mad cause I talk around it.
Looking for the goodies
Keep on lookin' cuz they stay in the jar
Oh-oh Oh-oh Oh-oh Oh-oh"
It is very hard to find tauruses.
Tyler Johnson Uhm not really. What's your point? They are not super common like mid-size sedans but you can find plenty of them on the road or Autotrader.
+Autoholics Anonymous true. They may not be selling 200k Taurus models in a year like they do Fusions but even at 60k models a year it's still not that rare to see one.
About the same price range as a base Cadillac CTS in Canada
