I've used liquid gold on my black Subie for years, even in hot summer weather. Works great
I used a 1:8 ratio in a spray bottle, sprayed the entire car, let it sit for 5 mins, then pressure washed it off as a quick rinse. I actually don't have too many waterspots, so it does help. But you cannot expect zero waterspots unless you dry the car manually. Definitely a lot better than other shampoos.

@@SpeckyMcSporran Yes, I was on vacay so that was the only option. It took 10 mins all in all. At the end I sprayed the car with carplan superglos, but I just pressure washed it off instead of drying it. Actually worked!
You're the second person to rinse off Super Gloss, I'll have to try it.
Specky McSporran My car is beeding (spelled?) so you can see a lot of water droplets on the paint. I don't know if that is because of the product or that it was waxed 4 weeks ago
This is the shampoo I often use because it seems to be the only one that doesnt claim to contain "wax" like wash and wax products that are 10 to the dozen.
Wow I’m actually impressed by the Triplewax. I thought it was a load of bunk that it would self dry. Pricey as you say but saves effort. Can it be used in a pressure washer detergent dispenser?
Me too. This was the first time I tried it and it did exactly what it promised. I'm sure you could but due to its dilution ratio I don't think it would be that effective.
I used the liquid Gold and it was useless. No suds and didn't dry . In fact it left water spots all over my car. Asda is selling it for £3. Bought the 20th June 2020. Pure waste of time effort and £3.
That's a shame, I found it worked pretty well as you could see. It doesn't really have any suds so that's normal. Maybe you should get in touch with the company and tell them.

Very interesting this one we have water as hard as a strip club bouncer it seems a lot of product to use to try and remove the drying stage I think it’s meant for lazy people and not detailers and weekend warriors a good video though Specky 👍🏻

Yes, the water here is lovely and soft. They don't mention the difference between hard and soft water but being made in England I'd guess they've tested it on hard water. Purely a guess though.
In Kent we have the worst hard water. The wash is shocking. Don't bother
I can't get on with any shampoo that leaves residue. They seem to interfere with they behaviour of my LSP.

Thanks Bella, that's why I made the video. There aren't many self drying shampoos on the market but they definitely have their place.
@@SpeckyMcSporran I've only just started car care properly in the last week or two, but in the two washes I've done since, I've had loads of water spots. Inexperience and bad practice on my part, no doubt... but a self drying shampoo looks like liquid gold to me.... Hold the phone! D'ya see what I did there? LOL. I'll pick up a bottle and see. As you say though, at £1 a wash it's not cheap. Cheers again mate.
@@bellacavachon7510 no worries. My best advice is to dry your car after washing. There are many spray products that can be used as a drying aid to speed up the drying process and even waxes that can be applied to wet cars. Pick up a drying towel, it doesn't have to be an expensive one but.
This is interesting, I've got some autoglym never used it .a customer gave me a selection pack to try
Maybe in summer will give it a bash .
I've been using autobrite purple velvet which is nice and loads I'd suds but have to be careful not to use too much.

I would love to see you do this in good old Norfolk mate......do not think you would get the same results. Water is so hard here.
Well I have very soft water here but they don't mention differences in water hardness so it might work for you.
Do you have to use this in a 10l bucket and use 2 caps full. What about mixing is up in a 1l spray bottle and misting the car once its been washed? Would like to see that in another Vid mate if poss

Hi specky have you tried ez products any chance of a vid can't seem to fault them at mo on my grey car
I haven't, but I've heard good things. It's difficult to make a video for every request as I have to buy the product myself unless they send me some for review.
I prefer washing car in rain as the shampoo wax left on the car means the rain just runs off without leaving marks
I don't know how I feel about that.
