The Greens are going to import Gay cows from Palestine !
Costng too much for Green MP Darleen Tana. Remove her from Parliament

Um, Julianne refused to apologise initially.....
Besides, former Green Member of Parliament, Ms. Golriz Ghahraman, recently pleaded guilty to her charges of shoplifting, after having resigned as an MP. Hopefully in the future, also the Greens will become much wiser and much more prudent regarding their choices of the parliamentary and other legislative candidates.

### Comment to Chlöe Swarbrick:
Chlöe Swarbrick, I have some concerns about the emphasis on man-made climate change and the effectiveness of current green energy solutions. Significant flaws exist in the data supporting CO2 as the primary driver of climate change, with many scientists arguing that human emissions have minimal impact compared to natural factors.
Moreover, the U.S. increasingly depends on China for essential materials for green technologies, raising economic and national security issues.
Political motivations seem to influence climate policies, with actions taken more for securing votes than for genuine environmental benefits.
Additionally, critiques highlight that most emissions come from developing countries like China, India, and Indonesia, where coal use is increasing, making U.S. efforts relatively insignificant on a global scale.
Furthermore, the current green energy solutions are not as green as they seem. The Biden Administration's progress on building electric vehicle charging stations is far behind targets, and the extensive land required for wind and solar energy can harm natural ecosystems.
Why do we only hear one side of the environmental debate? I'm all for being green (though not quite sold on the whole man-made CO2 saga), but let's talk about the real eco-villains: the tons of waste from making our beloved 'green' tech like solar panels, batteries, and wind turbines. There’s so much mining involved, it’s like a treasure hunt gone wrong!
And oh, the plastic saga-my favorite! We've got plastic rubbish bags, paper bags lined with plastic, and now this new star on the block: 'biodegradable plastic.' If it's so biodegradable, why does it stick around longer than the embarrassing photos from my high school prom?
Now, for a splash of cold, hard data-did you know that in the last 600 million years, the average CO2 level was about 2,600 ppm? That’s nearly seven times what we're panicking over today. And our quaint Quaternary period? It's seen the lowest CO2 levels, averaging around 230 ppm over the last 800,000 years, peaking at about 300 ppm some 320,000 years ago. Jumping up by 300 ppm could actually boost plant growth by about 46% across various crops. Makes you wonder if we’re missing the forest for the trees, huh?
While we're getting tangled in debates over CO2 and methane, with their levels doing the cha-cha across millennia, let’s not forget the simple stuff.
Like why native trees are the bee's knees for sustainable building compared to those quick-fix pines, or how farmers are quietly being eco-warriors by planting flax and shrubs along waterways. Seriously, these guys are the unsung heroes of the green movement!
Why not focus more on immediate and tangible environmental issues such as waste management, preserving natural environments, and creating green spaces, which are crucial for our well-being? These actions provide immediate benefits and are less contentious than the current climate agenda.
So, any current readings on CO2, or is that like trying to pin the tail on the donkey at a kids' party? Here’s to more robust, dirt-under-the-fingernails environmental chats on the show. Keep it up, and maybe throw in a word or two for those everyday eco-champions out there! Cheers!
Did you know that humans didn't exist when the atmosphere was 2600ppm? Of course you did, that's why you know it's an idiotic, braindead, frankly fucking stupid point to even bring up.
But you did it anyway, because you're a goddamn moron.
Also, farmers are the reason our rivers and lakes are unswimmable, because they dump nitrates in them like candy. but you think "They planted some flax!" absolves them.
You are a moron, a true national voter.

Having the CCC set the available units in the ETS is equivalent to giving them the power to set the price of units.
This is an admission that the Greens fear markets more than they fear climate change. The CCC wants the price of units to rise. The original intent of the ETS was to provide a mechanism for markets to decide ...
The point of the journalist's questions on Ms. Genter and on Mrs. Tana is that New Zealand's Green Party has a potentially serious problem in the consistency of its ethical standards. If those two MPs are allowed to serve out the current parliamentary term, and especially if they commit additional ethically questionable or wrong actions, the Greens will increasingly appear as just another mainstream political party. Ms. Swarbrick is smart enough to understand the political and ethical implications of those two MPs' controversial cases. In the future, she should give straighter answers to such questions, instead of counter-asking, "What's the point?"

thats why the greens want a wealth tax, rent controls, and huge increases in help for the poor.
@@TheMntnG Oh, so now the Greens are peddling their usual brand of misguided, socialist nonsense. A wealth tax? Rent controls? Huge increases in handouts? That's just a recipe for disaster. Do they really think punishing success and entrepreneurship will magically solve poverty? Newsflash: it won't. It'll just drive away investment, stifle innovation, and create a culture of dependency.
And as for their obsession with 'helping the poor', maybe they should focus on creating actual opportunities for people to lift themselves out of poverty, rather than just doling out more taxpayer-funded goodies. The Greens' policies are a surefire way to keep people trapped in poverty, rather than empowering them to succeed.
It's time to stop pandering to the Greens' misguided ideology and start pursuing policies that actually work. Let's promote economic freedom, personal responsibility, and real opportunity, rather than just throwing more money at problems and expecting them to go away
