I am glad to see another channel doing R56 Mini stuff in 2023. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, that Mamba kit has it,s problems. The return line gasket and O-Ring failed in less than a years! I am making a video about these problems on my channel.
Hi mate, I have been running one on my track car for 2 years and never had a problem! I’ve always heard good things and it’s definitely a necessary upgrade in my opinion. Have you got any other suggestions for a return line? Or a better experience with any other kits?
@@BTR_REBUILD Living in France, it is the only kit I could find (that doesn't cost a fortune to ship). There is an old video that talks about the same issue as what I have: ruclips.net/video/zvYRpXRCpic/видео.html I just took off the whole front end this weekend to replace the O-Ring I don't know, maybe there are different versions of this kit.

Smashed it. Super tidy car there mate and the new owner will no doubt appreciate the effort you’ve put in. No bodging in sight! It’s ridiculous how many listings there are for absolutely filthy cars on the market that haven’t had a wash but just leaves more profit in it for the rest of us… wheels are looking mint too! Hey would be possible for you to explain how did you removing the housing without removing the exhaust shield? I have a N12 R56 and I need to replace the oil housing gasket but I don’t want to remove exhaust and shiel to reach just one bolt. Thx😊
How did the project work out? I am doing mine this weekend and my local Mini dealer gave me a price of $2044.00 to put in a new gasket and a turbo feed line. Im no mechanic but I have done the Timing chain and clutch myself.
The hole face of my R56 was removed for fixing the same oil gasket leaks but the air condition although it’s working, no cold air is produced. what could be wrong?😐
