Now this is going to be badass looking forward to this build 🤘
Looks like another sweet project. I can't wait to see the progress on it.
It should be a fun one!
What happened to this project? Starting a 79 6.0 swap and thought I’d get lucky with a similar truck 😂
Sold I'm going to do one, already have engine trans, crown Vic suspension, electronics. Working on the stand alone harness. Am running a 6.7 ps pump on my 05 f250. Fixing to put a 6.4 200 amp alternator on it, I know Buick regulator.
Do you have any updates to this? I have a bump side I wanna put a 6.0 in I’m curious how it turned out
When’s the next vid coming out I wanna see more this is gunna be bad ass bro 😂
Please.....please do a in depth on the wiring. Really debating on doin a 6.0 swap but that wiring is intimidating. Thanks in advance God bless
Any progress on this truck yet?
The moment it runs & drives good. Shut the engine down, & stud the motor now before the head gasket blows up. It’s probably fine on stock power, but something people overlook with the 6.0 is that since the coolant expansion tank cap regulates the cooling system pressure, if that cooling system pressure isn’t up to par it can cause the engine to run hotter-head gasket failure.
It just so happens because the motor as fewer head bolts per cylinder than the 7.3 it’s more prone to it. Fix it now before high boost.
I’m very familiar with the 6.0 and the failures it has. Check out some of my other videos. Thanks for watching man!
Replacing wheel hubs in my 03 6.0 and seals which way does the washer with the lines go flat in or lines out
I’ve always put the lines towards the axle.
any updates? wanna see how your doing the turbo as I'm working on same swap
Not yet. Still waiting on a pile of parts from the owner. I want to be able to pull it in and make progress on it. Should be soon!
Awsome swap! How does the ZF-6 fit? Any modifications to the firewall? Looking to swap one into my "71 F-100. Thanks!
Sweet bro! Can’t wait to see the build. Shop truck looks awesome. Just finished upgrading my 06 f250 trans cooler, intercooler boots pipes, radiator, water pump, hoses, degass bottle, blue spring, banjo bolts. Question, I noticed higher EGTs after the upgrade. All Mishimoto hoses boots trans intercooler radiator degass and the new ford water pump, ford blue spring and XDP banjo bolts. Gear head tune on SCT4 stock turbo and injectors studded heads, MBRP 4” not sure why the higher EGTs any thoughts?
Thank you! Is your intercooler stock? If so check for splitting where the plastic tanks meet the aluminum core. A boost leak can cause high EGTs
Interested in the standalone set up
New video coming out this weekend with progress on the truck and in an upcoming video I’ll talk about what I’m doing for the standalone.
@@InTheShop I’ll be patiently waiting. I’m wanting to run mine on the stand for some R&D…
Awesome project, I’m looking forward to seeing more videos 👍😁
Thanks Dave!
This will be great! Looking forward to tagging along!! Thanks.
Thanks Steve! This one will be awesome.
Oh damn yes indeed,Awesome, love the build , cannot wait to see how this build goes!
Should be a good one
I’m here for the build,,,
Stayed for the merch.
Thanks Rafael! I appreciate you always tuning in!
Hey bro just bought a 2014 6.7 it's deleted and everything and they have sct x4 tuner in the glove box so I was wondering how do I find out what tune is the vehicle in right now. Scared to mess anything up. Thanks
Plug it into the OBDII port and look what’s currently loaded. I’d personally leave it plugged in and mounted to the dash or windshield and display live variables…
If you plug it in you can see what tunes are loaded.
The up pipes and turbo idea sounds awesome. Can’t wait to see that.
Should work out nice.
I would like to see it when it's done have a buddy that has a 60 is willing to sell it for $1,000 what do you think
It’s hard to say. It would depend on the overall condition.
@@InTheShop hey bud I'm looking to get my frame done like you did last year on that pick up.. inbox me let me kno I live in mass as well
Ummmm ok!!
What do you think?
@@InTheShop I think I’d like to help! And still have a 7.3 that needs a little attention (cough cough) 😆
Love that sound of diesel.

@@InTheShop How could you not be excited ? I hope you show how the body was or is mounted to the frame .I have my 03 f350 daily driver but my 03 f250 I am putting a 5.9 Cummins in it and thinking of blending the shell of a 65 f250 onto the 03 f250 cab . I would love to do the brake mod you are doing to the race truck rear brakes ..Have a great one man !! Blessings from Canada
