Seth you were absolutely correct on your suspicions about abhorrent oculus!! I've been using since it's release and it's an absolute bomb. Being only 3 mana you can reanimate it with super cheap white spells or find a way to put it face down with all the manifest dread and cloak available in blue/green. Can't wait to see the video about this card you will smash the competition. The simic build I've made gives you way more card advantage with all the manifest dread whereas the azorious build gives you speed and some better removal options with you being able to get the oculus out turn 2 sometimes.

If you lean into the ghostly dancer combo, you can add couple copies of Bitter Reunion to loot better hand, and once you get bunch of spirits, you can haste them all for 1 mana and swing for lethal in one turn

I've been running my own 5 color rooms deck with Leyline of the Guildpact and it has helped tremendously with mana screw. Timeless Lotus is also a very good one-or-two of if you don't want to go that route
I just want to mention how much I enjoy the detailed deck explanation before starting. It's definitely one of my favorite things about the Seth, better known as SaffronOlive, videos. Thanks for the hours upon hours of entertainment!
I feel like cutting a color (except for a basic and another fixing land maybe) would increase consistency. I'd say either black or red would be easirst to cut.
I love the rooms, but definitely need to cut probably 2 colors, and bring the average mana costs down. 5 color deck with almost no fixing, almost no ramp, doesn't do anything but maybe cast a single removal spell or possibly 2, for 4 turns is... not playable. How many games did you actually have to play to get a few wins with this on ladder?
16:47 Fear of Impostors probably does die to the thing it summons 90% of the time, but I think the main benefit of using it is when you have the enchantress payoffs. The worse scenario is the time you give your opponent something they actually want to flip

I’ve been working on a deck idea I call Boris Basic Check for historic where you use the Jolly Ballon Man to copy cards like white orchid phantom and krenkos buzzcrusher to destroy all your opponents lands.
My favorite version of "hold me closer" was from the 80"s when someone said (I forgot who sadly) "Hold me closer Tony Danza." I think this deck needs to be called Tony Danza now😂. Edit: It was from Friends and I misremembered. Still funny.
TIL basic lands are colorless. I thought you were missing the fact that basic lands would power up your tarnation vistas, but nope, that's not how that works.
At 42:42, couldn't you have started with Central Elevator and tutored for Restricted Office? Tarnation Vista gave you the second white source, and it wouldn't have even killed the dancers. Also, the song for Ghostly Dancers isn't Tiny Dancers, it's Once Upon a December.
Rooms should have been a new card type. Would have been a good opportunity to add a new card type. It seems kinda stupid that you can destroy all the rooms with a tranquility. Also, the ruling on the coming into play and not being cast with no doors unlocked would make more sense, since currently, with the way enchantments work, they had to pre-rule what happens. Would Tarnation Vista be too good if it was tap for a colorless or tap for a mana mana of each monocolor permanent you control? Like without the choice on the first ability and make the second "free" instead of cost 1? Question about the color of rooms. Let's say I have a Throne of Eldraine on blue. Can I cast the blue side of a room that has a black door too? I'm guessing yes, but just want to make sure. Throne of Eldraine can only cast spells that are monocolor or the chosen color
I'm strangely disappointed that rooms weren't a theme in MKM, the Clue set, and that DSK doesn't have a wall subtheme. Like, Tyvar, just punching a bunch of different kinds of walls.

What's interesting is it seems that if you have the Room win in place, you also got the board win by default.

I actually played this at pre release in temur and won 3-0 with only the alt wincon. It was surprisingly versatile.
Tarnation Vista is looking a lot better in rooms than Three tree city looked in any of the Bloomburrow typal decks, I feel.

You should rotate these types of cards when going over the deck tech. Particularly because all of these cards are new.
