Awesome Fab work bud!
Thank you!
Nice job my brother u are profesional good job god bless u
Great job man!
I am glad you did this video. I have been looking on how to do bags on my truck. The front is pretty simple, it is the back were I am trying to figure out, which way to go. I think I will just do the front next year then figure out back next winter.
+Cjw Cjw no problem. I will be releasing a video when I do the back and then the air management.
scrappingpavement Did you see my convertible pickup truck on Instagram?
cjw cjw whats your IG name so I can see your convertible truck
Sebastian Cruces it is: UpClass Upholstery by Cleodis
I just purchased a 86 Nissan truck and lowered it but had to put air shocks on rear so I could haul toys .The fabrication for front am not so good at.Great video!
Awesome!! Thank you
Nice work!
Da hora o seu trampo em.... muito bem feito.....top
Awesome video will done I'll be looking into those parts in the future for my Mazda build.
+Lawrence Duarte thanks Lawrence! In the future I'm going to be releasing Mazda and toyota parts as well!
scrappingpavement ok sweet I'll make one if I get to it before you release them. Thanks for the reply
Awesome video!!!! 👍👍
Just thank you!
Great video!
Exelent job bro👍🏻
nice work!
Well explained, although could use some camera stabilization and some lighting to improve view in the dark areas. Gave me some ideas for my 47 ford, which is low enough, but will have to be bagged to get over the hump on the driveway at my new house. Thanks
Good video amigo..
Great video Brother, I want to do the same with my D21 2002 I hope this video help me to do it
Awesome content 👌🏻💯
Early Ford Rangers (up to 1997 or 8) have the I-beam suspension up front. Later models have Control arms and coil springs.
Great video
Those originals are nice
You sir are a badass
That control arm triangulation mod is the cat's pajamas! Brilliant.
Thanks
Very kool!
Could you do one running air lines installing compressor ? And the valves ? Please ?? Thanks brother I knew it was a matter of time before you'd bag this truck .. love it man
Most definitely!
nice job
Nice job 👍 to save time on bleeding the breaks couldn't you just use a clamp to hold the air and fluid in the break line?
do you think the piece you added to the lower control arm could use a bit more triangulation to reduce stress on the welds. I was thinking a piece from the original pivot point out to below the shock.
Hello you do a great job I was wondering when you'll be doing a video on a 67 Chrevy C10
Should have some videos of my pops 67 gmc in a month or two
Traducelos al español brooo son fanatico a las nissan hardbody y sigo tus videos broo
It's a good video men, but what happens if I put a airbags suspension by VW escarabajo on my hardbody?
Do one running air lines and and air tank and valves and connecting air compressor. But love you videos.
For sure future video!
Nice job! Now it's time for the 22"s and a body drop!!
Lmao! 22s and body drop on the f100 first
Your f100 or mine? Mine doesn't need it and currently has 19"s on it, I'm planning on selling it that way.
Nice truck
Really nice job 👌 very helpful. I got a question I have a 2018 Tacoma trd sport 2wheel drive would you be able to fabricate the arms on it ?
Thanks, I have stopped making control arms until further notice.
Super nice video. I'm hoping to get a hard body. I have a 79 Chevy luv stepside already slammed in the back but wish front would come down.
Sweet! Thanks for watching ❤
Awesome video really enjoyed it. What kind of wheel adaptors did you put on your wheel hub to fit those 17's?
There just your basic 1" spacers. Think I got them off amazon
I have a good running 87 Hardbody, with a Z24 engine and I wanted to fix up nice ,but when your married and have kids it's hard to fix them up like that.
Got to be a alternative way to bag your front in
Nice .i wish I could do that to my..
Is there anyway I can bag the frontend on my 91 ranger? Me and my buddy where thinking about putting a Mustang front end on but would that work?....Is there any Advice you can give me
Will this kit you sell work on the front of a 1998 Nissan Frontier ?
Is there a video of bag mount placement and how to set ride height
I dont have any video I'm particular that goes over this. How I do it is figure out your overall wheel amd tire height or mount your wheel amd tire, and jack it up until the bottom of the tire is flat with the frame. This is where you'll mount the bag at full bump which is typically 3", after that you'll just want to make sure you mount the bag as close to the frame as you can without it touching. This is important because you'll need as much room on the other side of the bag to be able to lift all the way up, and bot rub your bag with the spindle while turning. If you google "project body bagged" it was a 3 episode series on the show trucks where they bagged a nissan hardbody and they have a ton of great tips in that video series. Hope this helps!
How does it ride with the bags now compared to the torsion bar system?
I would imagine better as air bags lose a lot of sprung energy when in compression.
It rides very nice compared to being static dropped. The back bag setup is slightly stiffer because it's set up for weight handling but if your cruising low with air it's a very nice ride compared if you were cruising low with a torsion drop and drop blocks in the back.
I have a 86 Nissan Hardbody 4x4 d-21. Looking for a reverse tortion bar key for a 1-2 front lift but for someone reason they make this key for every truck in the world but this truck. Any suggestions? Why- want to hit d Rubicon or Gold Lake again.
Looks cool but does it have ANY turn circle now? Does that new damper mount rub on the wheels?
It still has stock turning radius.
I gotta do this to my 05 dropped Silverado in the front bc it too low to daily drive it
Nice clean work nice video.. I have a quick question.. did you have to angle up your front upper bag brackets?? If so at what angle did you set the upper brackets. Thanks a lot!
Thanks, i set the uppers to match the lower control arm angle layed out. For example if the lower control arm layed out is 20° ill match that angle with the upper bag bracket said 20°. That way when the truck is sitting on the ground all the way aired out the bag is squished evenly. Hope that makes since.
@@scrapingpavement ok yes it makes sense thanks a lot !
Where do I go to purchase your parts? Also do you think those fab parts you make will work on a 720?
Any recommendations on what to maybe keep in the truck if you blow a front bag? Or what the best way to change it out is in a pinch?
+Cuttinthruchaos This is a great question! So first off I recommend having at least seperate air lines to each front bag, because if it was a teed line if you blow a bag or line both sides would lose air. As far as an emergency tools here's what I would recommend,,,, union push to connect fittings, Teflon tape, Schrader valve, wrench, small scissor jack. Worst cast pull the bag out and shove a large solid object in there to hold the truck up like a 4x4 piece of wood for example, then just limp your way home.
scrappingpavement thanks for the reply. Also, great video! Yeah, that’s always the biggest worry. Not so much for the rear, but the unforeseen things that can happen in the front, or the wear and tear on the bags. Keep posting your videos. They’re the most informative ones of seen yet that are this in depth concerning air ride!
Hi just wondering how much would it cost for a 4 link for a 91 d21 2 wheel drive??
What size tires you got on it ?
Does your stabilizer kit work for a Toyota tacoma? Where do I shop to purchase your license plate kit?
Extremely cool wheels..What are they?
17" oem nissan wheels. You can find them on the armada and titan.
would this be the same setup for the most part if i was to install coil overs instead of bags?
+Kyle Irwin yep. Instead of bag plates you would need coil mounts.
💪💪💪💪
i want to front bag my 1997 chevy 1500 and i know the top of the feender needs to be cut out to drop it to the floor...but i want to know if i have to cut other things
Ive never worked on full size chevys, so youll have to do some looking around to see what others have done.
Do you replace lower control arm bolt or use the factory contraption that the old tension rods uses
I've reused the factory torsion bolt on several trucks including this one with no issues. Just use a pair of vice grips to hold it while I tighten the lock nut.
Where’d you get the thin chrome fender trim??
Oem to the truck 86.5
Just wish I could find some custom adjustable UCA's. Wondering if pathfinder 4WD Upper arms are longer or they the same as the 2WD?
I've heard 4wd uppers are longer, beebanicustoms used to make adjustable uppers not sure if he still does or not.
What was your website that you sale stuff on? Also do you do anything/parts for a 720? Thanks and good work 😎🤙🏽
At the moment nothing for the 720 hit hopefully in the near future. Https://www.rohdefabrication.com
What kind of wheel and tires do you have on the truck
+Exposing The fake ones 17" nissan titan factory wheels. Not sure of tire make but there 195/40/17
Where did you get your back bumper
I made it
do you still make the lower control arm triangulation kit and the block off plates as well as the bag plates?
I make everything besides the triangulation kit, currently working on a new version of the triangle kit.
@@scrapingpavement gotcha ya I looked again and I saw everything any idea when you may have it available not in a rush or anything just curious
I need a rear tailgate wing. How much also??
I have a 91 d21, I'm thinking of getting Baggs on mine, is there any blot on kit for this trucks?
No bolt on bag kits for these trucks or pretty much any mini truck. Theres some bolt on kits for the chevy s10
I dont see your tube upper control arms in your web store. Do i need them for this kit to work? Thanks
We no longer offer upper control arms. They are not necessary for the other kit. We do offer an upper control arm filler kit, which allows you to flip your control arms upside for better bag clearance and ball joint angle.
Where you located i have an 01 chevy s10 that i want bagged and body dropped
the triangulation kit come with a new lower control arm bolt?
+Truck build and tool review it will come with bolts for the new bushing haven't decided on a new lca bolt yet.
With your "triangulation" kit, how do you adjust your caster if you deleted them?
offset bushings?
I was curious about adding an 1/4" or 1/2" on outside of lower bag bracket to LCA to give a slighter angle for bag to sit more straight when aired up or down. Is this nessacary like the old forums use to suggest? or just keep it flat on LCA like you did in video? Thanks i enjoyed your video im ready to build a Hardbody
Completely up to you, I think the main reason that is done is because there trying to get a better bag angle when the truck is aired up. But I dont like how the bag sits when compressed because it squishes the bag at a wierd angle amd could cause a rub spot, so that's why I choose to mount mine flat. on the arm.
@@scrapingpavement Thanks bud i appreciate it.. Keep up the good work iv been following on instagram as well ready to invest in some of your product
Great work well explained it’s nice you took the time for the viewers yes more lighting but my only question is you can’t go left or right when it’s dropped better be careful I had a 1986 Toyota hooked up long ago it was a blast working on it I loved those days nice work
Thanks Anthony! Ya this video lacks in some crucial areas, I try to keep progressing with my new content.
Right, minitrucks and turning radius is minimal most of the time. I'm running 16s on the truck now and can almost turn lock layd out 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Keep on truckin' ✌🏼
How’d u wake that spoiler?
1/8" steel flat bar
Do u have a video of ur wiring harness i need to know how to tuck my wire harness and how to hook up the fusible links and im so lost with the electrical
Not the best with the nissan wiring harness myself I try to avoid messing with it. But the bagged on 20s build I'm doing i have to mod the harness so you can see what I do with that in a couple of episodes.
@@scrapingpavement how did u re mount the fuse box and battery with out cutting? Can u show me some pics please im going crazy over thinking it
My truck only needed small tubs so I was able to raise the wiring up.
Send me an email blazingcustomz@hotmail.com and I can show you what I did with the blue truck
WHEELS - Nissan Titan / Armada 17" wheels
TIRES - 195/40/17
Not going to lie I miss those wheels....text me sometime I lost your number lol and I'm off social media.
Have you ever seen custom airbag lowered front end on 79 Chevy luv?
Do you sell all the metal set up for the bags
Check my website out www.rohdefab.com
Any suggestions for doing a lift on a hardbody or 720 with bags for lowering it?
They don't offer much to lift hardbodys, rough country has got a kit. If you want to go big lift you will need to do a straight axle swap. I got universal bag kits on my website www.rohdefabrication.com
So did u get rid of ur front torsion bar?
Yes
Do I have to cut in well to put on the air Suspension same vehicle btw
If you run a really small wheel and tire combo you can potentially not have to cut the wheel wells.
A lot easier just buying the control arm kits already made for air bags less work less cutting and stronger
هذي كانت عندتا قبل سنين مضت توها تصل للخواجات
Rats. Wanted to air bag front suspension on sons 1992 Ranger. Any work arounds, folks? He has herniated discs and the air bags would help his pain level monumentally. Gearhead girls rock!
Are u going to do a video on the back
sure am! when i get thee parts for it.
Do you have the oem spindles or did you install lowering spindles?
I have bell tech drop spindles
